Chosen were brought to the Prytaneum, primarily, to learn -- but they were also brought for their own extraordinary skills .It would be a shame if they didn't share these skills with the other Chosen surrounding them.
As such, all Chosen are encouraged to run classes or mini-events that share their particular brand of knowledge with those around them! These can take many forms, but always involve an interactive element that any Chosen can participate in.
All classes and mini-events give 20XP for each participant, as well as the Chosen running them, assuming that they hit standard word count (800 words). In addition, any player who runs a mini-event that follows the guidelines below will win tokens. Each token can be used to claim an additional 10XP for any character the player owns -- or 3 (three) tokens can be used to claim a new character (with no guaranteed art, and a cooldown between token-bought characters of 6 months!)
Once completed, claim XP from tokens simply by logging them in your journal. To claim a new character with 3 tokens, simply post up a Character Quest and then post in the "Free Character Claim" thread using the appropriate form.

CLASSES/TUTORIALS: worth 1 token for each Class runThe first concept for player-run mini events are classes, in which Chosen can teach the basics of their specific skill in a classroom or other facility at the Prytaneum. These classes should not only be simple ORPs, but also should have some kind of interactive element that allows players to RP out learning their skill without actually needing to know about the skill; in other words, something that cuts out the boring explanatory parts and allows players to do something fun while their character learns something new and exciting! These should be contained in a single thread, and can be more or less self-run; an opener post, with players participating at their leisure. For example, a Poseidon Chosen might want to give a simple swimming lesson, to make sure all those around them know how to keep their head above water. This would be written up as the char giving a short lesson on how to swim, and then participants would be able to play through a short dice game to learn the skill.
Another example might be a Dionysus Chosen who wanted to teach others the basic of painting with acrylics. Instead of a dice game, this time, perhaps they'd offer a simple paint-by-numbers drawing that players could use to create their own drawing, as the interactive element. It doesn't have to be a dice game, but it has to be something that requires a bit of effort/interest for all participants!

FIELD TRIPS: worth 1 token for each Field Trip runThe first option for player-run mini events are field trips, in which Chosen venture as a group out into the world to experience something educational/enlightening and learn about a particular field of study. Creation of these mini-events might be an ORP, but should contain some kind of actual educational quality to them: perhaps a list of questions that participants need to answer, or something else that shows they've researched/put some thought and study. For example, a Demeter Chosen might take players to the Botanical Gardens to study local plant life. The player running the event would pass out a worksheet with a series of questions that participants would have to find the answers to, through google or collaboration, in order to complete the field trip.
Another example might be an Apollo Chosen leading an outing to see a concert. Again, this should come with some sort of study that requires responses from players.

TOURNAMENTS/COMPETITIONS: worth 3 tokens for each Competition runThe final concept for player-run mini events are competitions, in which Chosen might run a game or event in their personal skill. Since these are competitions, all of these should have a random/dice element to it, that makes it easy to judge success. Personal subjectivity can weigh in as a separate score/OOC winner, should this apply, as in art or writing contests. They should also, unlike classes, be multiple rounds, on a set schedule, and result in one clear winner. Depending on the type of competition, they might be run in one thread or individual 1v1s. For example, an Aphrodite Chosen might run a beauty competition that puts Chosen through the paces, showing skills and beauty etc, with dice rolls to determine the success/failure of their efforts.
A second example might be an Artemis Chosen running a hunting competition. This could be set up as some kind of scavenger hunt in which participants are trying to find animals hidden on the forum -- or in some other way that allows for a winner based on chance/luck/etc!
