It was finally time to see Stella again. And her…partner…this Epi or whatever…maybe he was an Epi-pen? Maybe she just had allergies and they were really going to go out to eat seafood.
Well, that thought made Kari feel a lot better, and she even managed to crack a smile at her thoughts. Regardless, she was going for this meeting…and part of her knew that it might not be such a good idea…after all, she was just one senshi, and they were going to be two Negaverse agents…not that she thought Stella would ever hurt her! Why would she, she loved her! But this other person…her partner…
Kari didn’t know him, and was quite apprehensive due to that fact alone. But…Stella knew him, and that’s what mattered…and Stella wanted her to come meet him, so here she was. Waiting. In the middle of the park…hopefully they would get here soon…
It wasn’t that she wasn’t excited to see her…uh. Date. Long dating partner. Make-out buddy?
Ugh. No. The senshi rejected that thought immediately; they were so much more than that. Stella knew her and cared about her, and they were happy…even though they were on opposite sides of this, they were making it work, and it was great. Honestly, Kari had never been so happy.
…Now she just had to survive this meeting with Epi-pen, and everything would be great. Maybe.

It hadn't taken Stellerite too long to convince her brother that meeting this senshi friend of hers was a good idea. Considering their last practice run had gone rather poorly, she was determined to give him proper training with a willing participant. This way, she didn't have to trick some scummy man at a bar into slipping somewhere private so that they could ambush them.
"I need you to play nice Epi. Kari's very sensitive." The woman explained, gesturing with a gloved hand as her heels clacked against the concrete. "She's...very attached to me and appears to get jealous easily." Though, Stella was sure that many of Kari's fears would be quelled when she got a better look at the pair. Their resemblance was obvious, in the lieutenant's opinion.
"She thinks that she's my world, which, as you know," she gave her brother a pointed look, "is not true but the important thing is that she believes it. Miss Alkaid would likely like a pretty little senshi to add to the ranks soon, especially one that is so willing to please as Kari is." Her voice quieted as she felt Kari's disgustingly bright aura on the edges of her senses.
"This is a practice run for energy draining. Please don't pick a fight and I promise it'll be worth it, okay?"

When his sister had offered the opportunity to energy-steal without the knee-to-gut and generally-beat-up end result by running into a rather angry senshi... well, it sounded optimistic, at least. He hadn't been too fond with the notion that some girl was going gaga over his older sister - smut was meant for Penny's pages, not for Penny. But pleasing their intimidating boss and learning how to energy drain at the same time...how could he say no? "I won't pick a fight." His words were a notch above a grumble, memories of the other man refreshing in his mind, "If she doesn't. But this better not be gross, okay?" Arms folded across his chest as he glanced in the direction of the energy source. The gross feeling had been distant at first, unrecognizable save for the sour taste it left in his mouth. The feeling grew stronger and stronger, Epidote quickly figuring out that it meant the "Kari" in question was approaching. Tucking his remote into the crook of his arm, eyes narrowed. "This her?"

They were there faster than Kari realized, two dark blots on her mental radar…and for a moment, an irrational fear flitted through her, and she tensed as though to run. But…it was just Stella. She had to remind herself of this fact quite firmly and kept her feet rooted to the spot. If she ran, she would disappoint the blonde so much and that was the very last thing she ever wanted to do.
As the two approached, Kari raised a hand and waved. “Stella! Hi! Um…I guess this is your partner?” She closed the distance between herself and the two of them and plastered a smile on her face. Well…they did look related, they had the same skin tone and hair color so maybe…maybe there was nothing romantic between the two of them.
A smile lit up her face when that realization was solidified and she seemed much more comfortable. “I’m Sailor Kari, it’s very nice to meet you! And…” She focused her eyes on the lieutenant who she knew so very well indeed. “It’s really nice to see you again, Stella…”
So, maybe that was an understatement. Her heart was already going pitter patter.

"If I tell her not to, she won't." Stellerite responded, blue eyes narrowing slightly in a manner that said, I expect the same of you. "There will probably be kissing and you're going to have to deal with it." She suspected that if she did not greet Kari with a kiss, the senshi would react poorly as she had when she had complimented that waiter and when she had mentioned that they couldn't be exclusive.
As the woman's silhouette came into view, the blonde nodded at her brother, glancing up at him and the inches he had over her. "That is," she confirmed with a nod.
A wide, well-practiced and welcoming, smile spread across Stellerite's pink painted lips as Kari approached and waved. "Hey, cutie," she greeted, pressing a kiss against the woman's cheek instead of her lips as a favor to not terribly gross her brother out. "Yeah, this is Epidote." She turned to gesture at her brother, blonde brow arched at him.
"Epi, this is Kari and she's been very kind to agree to help you with energy draining."

Oh gag. She'd warned him, but words couldn't prepare him for how gross it was to watch his sister mack on someone else - one of the Order senshi, no less. It took on an entire different meaning behind the phrase keep your friends close but your enemies closer. He adjusted his footing, hands dropping down to stuff themselves in the pockets of his slacks. Did she really have to go to these kinds of extremes, just to get some energy? Wouldn't simply taking it be easier than trying to schmooze it out of 'em? "Hi." His greeting was brief, probably because his sister was always better at doing all of the talking. Kari wasn't all horrible looking, as far as girls went, but the gross aura surrounding her was off putting.... on top of watching her get kissed by his sister, of all people. "So, am I going to watch you first, or...?"

When Stella’s lips touched her cheek, every single one of Kari’s misgivings evaporated into the night. This wasn’t going to be anything new. She had donated energy to Paracelsian and Stella before…this guy wasn’t going to be any different…except that he seemed like he didn’t know how to do it.
“Well…um…If I could say something, I…I don’t know if Stella should show you first…? I mean…” Besides the fact that Stella would kiss her to draw out the energy…while she would like it, that would just…that would be so embarrassing. “I mean I don’t have unlimited energy to give so…so I’d rather it just be you taking it…if that’s all right…?” Her eyes moved to Stellerite, almost as though asking her for permission for this suggestion…
She didn’t want to offend…but she didn’t want to end up passing out from having too much energy taken either.

Part of Stellerite wanted to laugh at her brother's embarrassment, with the corners of her mouth quirking upward in amusement, but she refrained and would tease him endlessly about it later when it was just them. Pulling away from her senshi companion to stand more comfortably between them without being 'attached' to either, the blonde woman smiled in response to the questions.
"You and I both know you're better with practical application Epi." She gestured for him to step closer to their senshi friend. "Besides, Kari's right. She's not made of energy." Blue eyes glanced at the brunette, with Stella's head nodding in approval of her suggestion.
"What's important is skin to skin contact." She explained, looking between the two of them. "It takes quite a bit of concentration, so. Find a suitable part of skin and press your finger tips against it Epi."

"Skin to skin. Right." Stepping forward, he sized up the girl nearly six inches shorter than himself. He glanced down at her fuku, which was far more conservative than he'd care for it to be on an attractive woman - why couldn't Fate toss him a bone and let the first girl-senshi he ran into have one of those skimpy swimsuit outfits like he'd seen the one on the news have? Then again, maybe it was a good thing she was as covered up as she was, less his sister and the Super senshi got more physical than a casual cheek peck. One hand moved up and lingered in the air as green eyes studied the senshi's body. He took a second to debate, then gently moved it forward, decidedly cupping her cheek in his palm. Her skin was warm to the touch, but he wasn't going to focus on the fact he was now touching a girl. No, he was a Negaverse Lieutenant now taking control of a situation. She was a situation and not a living, breathing human girl with incredibly soft skin under his fingertips. "Okay." His voice dropped, forcing eye contact away from Kari as he looked to his sister. "What do I do now?"

Stella had agreed with her, and nodded at her suggestion…that made Kari feel like flying, but when her not-girlfriend mentioned that they needed skin to skin contact, the senshi felt her face heating up, perhaps even more so when a hand was cupping her cheek and she was looking into the…into the very pretty eyes of this guy.
Well…
Maybe she had a type.
Maybe Negaverse was just her type…or maybe pretty things were her type. Pretty eyes?
When he looked away from her, she felt relieved and her eyes wondered to Stella. What did he have to do now? Just…take the energy from her, right?
Skin to skin.
…She really wished she could hold Stella’s hand through this…even though she knew things would be fine, she was quite nervous for some reason, and her stomach felt as though there were half a dozen butterflies in it.

Standing back like she was, watching her baby brother so gingerly cup the cheek of the woman she was pseudo-courting was strange. Immediately she wondered if Kari would have been a good match for her brother, especially since she seemed to gullible and malleable. Pushing the thought away she blinked a few times, trying to focus on the lesson at hand. Kari and Epidote wouldn't make for a good coupling now, if only because of Stellerite's own involvement with the loyalty senshi.
Perhaps after she turned to the dark side...
"You'll have to focus, most of it comes naturally but you should be able to feel the energy and pull it to you, picture it flowing from her to you and forming a ball in your hand." It was something that was easier said than done, but her brother was sharper than he gave himself credit for.
As if picking up on Kari's nerves, Stella stepped closer, hand fitting against the small of her back instead of taking her hand. It wasn't the same, but would be enough. "You're just gonna have to try it Epi, don't worry. Kari's not going anywhere."

Nodding his head, he turned back to the senshi and refocused his attention and stared down into blue eyes as he took a deep breath. He could feel the warmth of her cheeks as the pink flush tinged her face. Was this as awkward and uncomfortable for her as it was for him? No. Feelings weren't important. Focusing was. Keeping his eyes trained on hers, he did his best to focus, to feel the energy coming from the shy looking senshi. Like magic, the energy slowly drained itself from the girl, forming into a tiny, small orb in the palm of his hand. The ball began to grow the longer he concentrated, all the while wondering whether or not it would just be easier to slip his other hand inside her chest and take away the star seed keeping her alive - that would be more valuable to Miss Alkaid, wouldn't it? Then again, he also valued not upsetting his sister and keeping this senshi alive seemed to amuse her. Ah, well. As the orb grew to a decent size, he finally pulled away, fingertips barely grazing across her check as he departed. Lifting the golden glow up for inspection, he smiled. It was practically magical - and he did it! Eyes flickered back to the "victim" as he held the ball out to show her what he'd drawn. He couldn't help but tease a little bit, especially considering her blushed state. "I bet we could keep this up all night long if we tried, hm?"

It wasn’t bad. But…giving energy hadn’t ever been bad…and this was…well it wasn’t as good as giving it to Stella…but she could feel Stella’s hand on her back and all she saw was the rather stunning eyes of Epidote…and of course, the effects of having her energy drained.
It didn’t seem as though more than a few seconds passed, but suddenly the feeling was gone and she felt tired. “It’s beautiful. I’m glad you could do it…Epidote? That’s your name, right? I’m glad I could help you…”
He just looked so proud of himself, she couldn’t help it…well, she felt good about it until he made the remark that he did, which only made her face burn again. “I…what? No. Don’t be rude.”
Kari turned then, flopping her face into the crook of Stellerite’s neck, almost feeling too tired to keep holding her head up. “He did really good, Stella.”

Undeniably, Stella breathed easier knowing that things were going smoothly. She hadn't expected any mishaps and thought that she had a firm hand when it came to controlling the situation, but things could fall apart so quickly and she was thrilled that things had gone off without a hitch.
Epi seemed more confident too and she liked that, almost as she liked having both of them under her thumb.
Kari turned into her and Stella's hand slid up her back and held her close, cheek pressing against the top of the woman's hair. "You did good, sweetheart." Over her head, her gaze met her brother's. "See, not so bad, right?" She would have liked it if they had gotten more than what Kari had offered so far, but they'd also met up sooner than usual.
"You're willing to help us both out when you can, right?" She asked, rubbing her hand up and down Kari's side in an affectionately soothing manner. Plus, if Epi was distracting Kari from time to time for her, Stella would be able to draw more people into her web for them to work and manipulate.
Yeah. She liked the idea of that.
"What do you think Epi? Would you want to see Kari again?"

Shoulders shrugged nonchalantly as he averted his gaze away from the female couple. It was one thing to let himself get away with a friendly tease, maybe a flirt, but to see his older sister coddling another girl -- yeck. They might as well have been on an official date. One foot struck out, kicking an invisible pebble away. "Sure, I'd see her again, if she'll let me have my way with her." He stole a glance back in the senshi's direction, giving her a wolfish grin. At least, what he felt was a wolfish grin. Being a badass, magical Negaverse agent was definitely bringing out the confidence in him when it came to addressing the gentler sex. "You wouldn't mind seeing me again alone, would you, Kari?"
