Twsting was going well. He had progressively made dives for the purpose of testing out various casings for the chips. After several runs amen deoths, he managed to switch to working in labs on various coatings that would help with extending weak signals. With limited surface space, it was a challenge and he had to check into how various frequency extensions worked and what might help while still being cost effective enough for someone with nothing to his name.
It was coming down to the final runs, and he took the chips down with him as he left the beach and swam down, pausing in the depths as various shapes moved past before coming down to the familiar yet ever-changing cave system below.

Why do you like it?
Hmm?
It has weight. It's heavy but it makes you feel like you are weightless.
You can either be like them....floating, but feel like you can dissolve like a cube of sugar. It makes me feel connected to something I'll never know.
Why doesn't that make you feel afraid?
It's different than the room. There is no force around you. It's empty. Here, you can feel the water move against you. The currents speaking. All around you is talking.

I suppose it's like being underground.

A little. I never swam where I lived. It was dry but sometimes you'd find noisy dirt. Pockets of water. You could hear it move like a snake nearby. This is different.
