Bio: Ravi is a born and bred Mornes native, not the sort most people actually see off the planet or its system often. Ravi however has always had something of a wanderlust about him, and being stuck on the local plateau as the entirety of where he was able to go for most of his childhood never stuck well with him. Ravi ended up the local troublemaker of his home city, not exactly a criminal but everyone knew his name for less then positive reasons. At least until he finally got to the age where Ravi was allowed to get a heavy flight license, although around there that was just a standard drivers license since non flight capable vehicles just weren't really made much for worlds with gravity beyond 2 G's, and only specially designed flyers could handle the pressure in atmosphere. After getting the ability to leave his home plateau, Ravi began to thrive, roaming the world over, even joining groups that would explore the lower portions of the planet for their short trips. Eventually, as anyone who knew him had predicted, he went into space, and began learning more about the Empire he was nominally a citizen of, although Mornes never did draw too much attention besides for their wildlife.

One thing less expected was when Ravi began looking to roam even farther, outside the system. But of course, travel to that degree was much harder, and more expensive, then only in system travel. Ultimatly, Ravi ended up signing up for military service, not out of a sense of patriotism or the like, but seeing it as opportunity. Skill, training, pay, travel, service offered a huge amount of perks. Even the negatives didn't outweigh it enough, especially since nobody ever has or, as it seems, ever will actually declare a full scale WAR on the entire Solarian Empire. The occasional rebellion or pirate attack may come up, but war seems out of the question. As a heavy worlder and an intelligent person, Ravi had no trouble at all getting into basic training, since the physical examinations weren't exactly set high to him, and he'd had time to study what he didn't know before applying. The easy in lasted all of a couple of weeks until Ravi and the recruit batch he was with reached Veni. The recruits usually stayed together in the groups they were brought in with, but those from worlds with gravity much higher then Earth standard were pulled seperatly, since the Imperial Army trainers were no fools. Set to train with sargeants who had long experience in the heavy world environments, Ravi and the handful of others were put through much the same training as all other recruits, except for a few exceptions, and the fact most of the physical training was done at gravities high enough to make these recruits work just as hard. Ravi ended up passing through training with quite a bit of work, and took to the work with a vengeance. Ravi pushed his way up the ranks to Sargeant over time, and as he climbed the ranks, his reasons for remaining in the military shifted. Sure, all the perks from before were still there, but Ravi also developed a certain sense of patriotism towards the Solarian Empire, and protectivness towards its people that were not trained or equipped to defend themselves, be it from marauders or corrupt officials, although very few of the latter managed to attract enough attention to have the Military step in.

Ravi was a relativly recent addition to the Marines, transfering into marine service after a considerable amount of time with the main army. While he didnt breeze through the Shipboard Combat Course like he had basic, Ravi is well aware he had an easier time of it for the early portions, since the early instructors and opponents had underestimated him just that little bit too much. Of course, by final exam day, everyone knew just how capable he was, and it is an occasional speculation among his squad that they were actually tougher on him then they were strictly supposed to be during that testing.

Ravi is, like most Mornesians that enter the marines, something of a specialist with the 'heavy' weapons of the Solarian army, although he

Image: Ravi is a 6’11 man of pure muscle, who moves like gravity is barely even there, a lightness of step most dancers would be impressed by, much less any fellow soldier seeing him in full kit. He keeps his hair cut short, well out of his eyes and left flat. Ravi has a few scars along his torso but they aren't visible unless he's shirtless, while his common civilian wear is long sleeves and pants, generally in blues and greens.
