A lunar eclipse is happening tonight! This is for watching it, stargazing, theorizing about the ways this points to the apocalypse, freaking out, hanging out, making out, I'm not ruling anything out because teenagers. Mainly just another place to gather!
Shortly after nightfall, Mimsy abruptly stopped and stared up at the sky. It was the moon in particular that so rapidly caught her attention, primarily due to its present state of being quite obviously impossible. Moonlight reflecting off of her glasses, she pulled on a string of thought to release a calendar spanning several decades of historical data and calculations for future astronomical events, 'checked' it once, twice, and finally confirmed her unnerving conclusion.
"This is impossible," she announced aloud, head still tilted skyward. A critical stare flickered from constellation to constellation to confirm that they were all still in place; they were, which hardly assuaged her concerns, but graciously served to not make this worse.
