Tonight Alphubel was feeling a bit more confident in himself. He had finally had SOME training when it came to fighting, and although he knew he was still a beginner, he might be able to use some self-defense techniques this time instead of just getting beating up. However, that didn't mean he was looking for a fight, He still hoped that the night might pass and he didn't find any Negaverse agents up to no good. However, it seemed that tonight wasn't that night, as after a bit of patrolling, he felt the familiar signature of a Negaverse agent, and unfortunately what seemed to be a more powerful one too compared to the ones he had met before. He sighed, and went to check it out to see what they were doing. His conscious wouldn't let him walk away from it and he would try to do the best he could to stop them. He had been warned many times not to do so, but so far he had unfortunately only run into those who had wanted to fight and as of yet he still didn't truly feel like he had a place as a Polaris page. He needed something to give him some purpose!

Marcasite had missed patrolling.
She had missed the steady thrum of chaos in her veins, supplying her with the strength and agility she had never imagined having before. It had been a long while since she had been out like this, choosing instead to focus on her civilian life and promoting the cause through social media and ever loyal fans of her channel.
But tonight, oh, tonight was a night that had her itching for a fight or a brawl and she hoped that she found manageable trouble, if only to relieve herself of some of the restless energy that had built up when she'd been recovering.
Tickling her senses was the aura of something...pure and squeaky clean. Marcasite hated it, but moved towards it until she found the source. The sight was not unlike something she had seen before, except weaker and decidedly male.
Hm, still fun to play with.
"Well, hey there handsome," she greeted, wearing a bright and cheery grin as she pushed her hat back just bit. "What do you say, you and I have ourselves a friendly little tango?"

Nope, tonight was definitely not the night for Alphubel, and it seemed that his bad luck was still following him considering that he had felt a strong chaos aura and unfortunately that aura headed straight for him. When they were finally there, it was a female agent and definitely a captain. Just his luck. He gulped quietly, really wishing he had some magic or something that he could fight with that might actually help him. He had only recently gotten a tiny bit of training and... that was it. So he hoped that he could only come out of this alive considering that the agent really wanted to fight him. He couldn't exactly say no of course, that would be running away and while he had been taught that he didn't need to start fights, he certainly hadn't been told it was okay to run away from them yet. He wondered if he could talk his way out of a fight, though most likely he would probably just get punched in the face, but it was worth a try, right? "Well we don't have to fight... exactly. We could just talk?" While he had hoped that he was going to be able to say that normally, the way that he had said it showed that he was definitely afraid of this agent.

There was something wild about the way that Marcasite grinned, flashing all of her pearly whites at the page as she advanced on him. She didn't quite get close enough to be dangerous, yet, but stood just on the outskirts of fight ring. "Aw, but where's the fun in that?" She asked, in a sing-song tone of voice, feigning a pout before shaking her head.
Blue eyes flashed and in her hand was a metallic fan, silver save for the black mustaches that were sharp on the edges.
"You see, I'm afraid that I don't really feel like talking little page." She shook her head at him, sighed dramatically. The fan snapped open and Marcasite pushed her hat back. "Now, why don't you show me what you've got?"

Well, that didn't work. Alphubel thought to himself as he realized that the captain certainly wasn't going to leave anytime soon and was certainly looking for a fight. All of Alphubel's instincts were telling him to run as fast as he could away from all of this, but there was something in the back of his mind telling him that maybe, just maybe, this would be good experince? Sure, he wasn't looking forward to this but he could possibly learn how to fight a bit, even if he was injured at the end of all of this? Of course, he didn't want to be killed or crippled or anything, so he would have to be doing his best to defend himself the entire time and run when he knew he wouldn't make it. He grimaced at the sight of Marcasite grinning about all of this. Fighting just wasn't a fun thing to him, though he supposed some reveled in it. And he had noticed her fan, which meant he was at even more of a disadvantage than before. And she was certainly being flashy about all of this, she had quite a bit of confidence when it came to her fighting skills. He gulped down his nervousness and readied himself, trying to get into what he thought was a good fighting stance. "I guess if we have to do it this way then I will." He replied, he knew he wouldn't have a chance if he tried rushing at her. What could he possibly do anyway? Defense was the best strategy here.

"Aw, see it's so much better when we both agree," Marcasite said in that sing-song way she'd been talking for most of this. Jokingly fanning herself, her booted feet led her forward.
"Maybe, if you're good. I'll let you live." She winked at him before lashing out with her fan for one move and sliding into what she thought would be a well placed kick after.ssbrosb sorry it's short but i'm battle rusty :<

This woman was definitely creeping him the heck out. Sure, he had seen an agent kill someone in front of him, but that was more surprising than "make your hair stand up" creepy. He barely had enough time to dodge though as she swung her fan at him, and he mostly just stumbled back a bit, his clothes getting ripped a bit as the fan managed to brush by him. He knew this really wasn't the best way to go about any of this, however he didn't really have anything to stop her either considering. When he got a chance, he tried to grab her leg that she had swung out.

Marcasite clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth in disappointment when her fan missed, wrist rolling as she shifted it in her hand. Her kick was a smooth one, until the page's hands caught her ankle and she was stuck momentarily.
Shifting on her other leg, she attempted to pivot, pushing the balls of her feet against whatever part of him she could.
There was a sudden stillness in her movements before her fan snapped shut and she lobbed it at his head.

This was much harder than Jason thought it was going to be. Though it was mostly because the agent had a weapon and he had... well he had a piece of glass that would probably be more dangerous to him if it was somehow broken. He was getting quite, well, scared. He knew that he was quite outmatched in this fight, but could he really run away? He was mostly hoping that this agent would just eventually find that fighting him was boring and move on somewhere else. But while he was thinking of all of this, he noticed that she had stopped moving and suddenly there was a fan flying at his head. He barely had time to move, and although it didn't hit somewhere like his eye, he did get a very good smack to the side of his head as it made contact and he yelled out in pain. That hurt, a LOT! Alphubel felt himself let go of her leg as he reacted to the pain that was suddenly distracting him. He tried to move away a bit and keep his eye on the agent, but he knew he was a lot more vulnerable right now.

Losing her weapon in exchange for having her leg back and free was worth it as far as the captain was concerned. Pulling back, she flashed a smirk at the man before she shifted, stepping into his space enough that when she threw her punch there wasn't much room for it to go.
Hand to hand was easy for her, having trained beneath an MMA fighter and originally having a certifiably useless thing for a weapon.
"Come on, precious, don't you have a little more fight in you than that?"

Alphubel felt the punch go straight to his chest, and the air was knocked out of him. Unfortunately, this agent definitely had the upper hand and he knew that if he stayed that the only thing that would happen would be him probably being knocked unconscious, and even worse, his starseed taken or just him being killed from internal bleeding or something.
He gasped a bit, before moving to the side, taking a 2nd to look around, and finally running as fast as he could away from her. He had been warned about this type of fight, but it just seemed that he couldn't help himself. However, he did know when it was time to run, and he only hoped that she wouldn't chase after him.
