By "making chilli", Harrison meant that he had opened a can of chilli, poured it into a pot, and was waiting for it to heat up.
He was sitting in the kitchen watching it, but he had put on a new???! James Bond movie that was playing in the main room. The future was pretty cool. He guessed that everybody had a ghost implant, or something like that. He figured out how to put B0nez's card in the card reader, and B0nez had stopped yelling about not having arms and was now happily doing...whatever it was that he was doing.
He'd emptied the cash register before he'd locked up the bar, and the cash from that was sitting on the table.
Harrison liked owning a business. He didn't really need his mom, or school. He didn't mind having the break from baseball practice. He was having a pretty good day.

Rep had stared at the tweet for a while, unsure if he could reply or if it would be better to say he wasn't done with work. Ultimately though he couldn't help it, he couldn't lie to Harrison and wouldn't, he replied and in doing so sealed the fact that he would be going back home instead of staying here.
It took a while to get back, as always checking the hoard was safe and secure before walking back along the beach to the dorms. He tried to brace himself, reminding himself that he couldn't just act like it was the same Harrison he'd always known or it would be weird but other than that he didn't know how to act.
He had an ace of hearts on his keys and he eyed it distantly as he opened the door, he'd bought it as a stupid private joke.
The smell of chilli was familiar but not unwelcome and to Rep being able to heat something up in a pot made you a five star chef. He wanted to go over and kiss him on the cheek but knew he couldn't. He nodded instead, looking harrowed and worn, some of his clothes were torn with strange gouge marks here and there, but he didn't look injured.
"Wow, you've been busy." he said, eyeing the cash he'd accumulated. "Doing all right?"

"Yeah, we pretty much made bank." Harrison's eyes widened at the ripped up clothes. The shoulder of the jacket looked particularly bad, like he'd gotten into a fight with a giant eagle. "What happened to you!"

Rep looked startled at first before actually realizing how he looked. “Oh right. It was one of my bosses, he’s a kid now too. He tried to stab me with a little dagger thing a few times, couldn’t get through my shield but messed up my clothes. I’m okay, in case you were worried, physically anyway.”
He sighed. “I’m just so tired Ace. So tired.”

Harrison's eyebrows furrowed, and he took Rep's hand, looking it over.
"You got stabbed?"
Rep had explained the shield thing to him, but he hadn't seen it before. Basically that they had an invisible barrier around them that protected them, but if it took energy to use, like a battery, and after it was out it was gone.
"So, your shield didn't run out," he said slowly. "And you didn't get hurt."
He kept a hold of Rep's hand, and leaned back, pulling him towards the bathroom.
"You...need...a shower! And then to relax the rest of the night!"

"Yeah. All those things." He gave Harrison the look of a guy who wanted to rest but wasn't sure he was allowed to. "I dunno." he said, though he didn't dig in his heels. He hadn't bathed since this had started and was beginning to smell pretty ******** bad honestly, what with all the strenuous activity and warm clothing. "I don't think I can rest, but maybe at the very least I can afford a shower."

"Nope! You have to rest. We're going to eat and watch a movie. And, um," Harrison turned a little redder, deciding, "cuddle."

Rep raised a brow at the other guy and couldn't help the smile which crept onto his face. He was so ******** sweet, no matter what age he was, the same deep rooted concern and genuinely being a loving loyal person shining through.
"Okay. We can do that." he said. "I'll stop it all for just a wee while. I'll go get a shower, I'll be right back."
