Cadmus was rearing to back to, well, Cadmus. Every tick of the clock drove him one moment closer to his asteroid, but the two-week wait was anything but fun. As what had become a norm for the boy, he would climb to one of the highest places in the vicinity of his patrol route and stare at his phone; a seemingly childish way to bring him closer to the sky.
Of course, he wouldn't readily admit that.
In this case, he was perched atop the jungle gym of the playground in the park near his home, having returned to the place after two battles threatened a thought to change his patrol routes. He glanced around and could still see the squishy, frozen remnants of his attacks about the area, and decidedly ignored them in favor of his phone.
"Just about a week left," Cadmus said to himself, bouncing his leg in excitement, "and then I can go back to space!"

Caliban had been trying to train a bit more in his powered form and so he was currently outside doing a little parkour. He was getting better at it finally. At least he wasn't getting as many scrapes and bruises and he wasn't hitting things nearly as much as he used to. However, during this training he had felt another aura of a senshi and ignored it for a bit until he felt a few more auras flare up and he decided to go investigate. However, when he had finally gotten there, the senshi seemed to be doing fine, perched atop a jungle gym and looking at his senshi phone. Caliban really needed to remember to keep that with him. He was about to greet the senshi until he heard the others' words. He couldn't help but ask out loud, "Go back to space? How do you do that?" Well, he hoped he didn't interrupt the other too much at least.

Cadmus yelped so hard he nearly launched himself into space. Instead, the jump made him fall backward to laying on the jungle gym, and he saw the upside-down image of Caliban before his panic subsided to calmness.
"Oh, well, uh," he said, collecting his bearings. Cadmus pushed himself up to sitting and then turned fully to the other male. "You can go to space with your phone."
To emphasize this, Cadmus waved his about as the illuminated screen lit up the side of his face. "If you look on there, there's, like, an app that takes you to your homeworld if you press it. Otherwise, it's the home button on the old phone. Y'know, the first one the guardian cat gives you when you awaken?"
His eyebrows rose in curiosity. "I'm guessing you're planning to go?" he asked.

Caliban flinched a bit as he watched the other senshi fall over in surprise. He hadn't meant to scare the kid that badly. As soon as he knew that the kid was all right and focused on him he gave the other an apologetic look.
"Sorry, didn't mean to surprise you. It just came out of my mouth." He moved a bit closer, slowly though so he wouldn't surprise the other senshi further, and so he could get a closer look at the other's phone.
He made a bit of a face though at the mention of his awakening, mostly because he had been told barely anything and had had to get all of his info from other sources other than the guardian cat that had awakened him.
"Okay. Glad I know that now at least." He would have to check his phone out later.
Planning to go? He thought to himself. Planning to go where? His homeworld? He wasn't even sure what kind of place it was.
"I guess at some point. Maybe not now. As you can tell, I've never been to it. I don't know what sort of place it is." And it made him a bit nervous, mostly because he would be off planet Earth, his "birthworld" for all of his 18 years on the planet.

"Oh, you got one of those guardians?" Cadmus said, frowning a little. "One where you don't get a lot of explanation? That's rough, buddy. Especially since you're kinda, like, just thrown into everything."
Cadmus liked guardian cats, but some could be a little, err, air-headed and flighty with information. His own awakening was kind of the same, but he managed to gain answers with experience.
"The senshi phone—the upgraded one, I mean—has a lot of extra stuff, too, like a Negaverse database and this thing where you can register another senshi by taking a picture of them. It's kinda cool, and I totally encourage you to seek out this cat named Liryn if you haven't upgraded it already."
The teen's mouth drew to an O, but then his eyes glittered like constellations. "Oh man, you should visit your homeworld! Like, soon! I'm not sure what yours is like—I heard homeworlds are really different—but I can tell you all about mine if you want?"

Caliban was a bit jealous that this kid seemed to know more than he did, but it seems it had just been his luck in the type of guardian cat that he had been awakened by and the other senshi seemed to understand. So he wasn't too jealous, but just a little. "Yeah, I barely got a lesson on what my attack was let alone... pretty much anything else." He replied, chuckling a bit. "Mostly been getting into fights but otherwise not really sure what I'm supposed to be doing." He made a mental note about the upgraded senshi phone. So far he only had the basic one, but he figured he would get the upgraded one soon enough. "I'll try and find Liryn then." How he was going to, he wasn't sure but he would keep it in mind. Caliban nodded at the other. "Sure. Might make me want to visit my home world, even if it's not the same as yours. I'm just a bit nervous visiting a place that I know nothing about right now."

"Hey, that's one way to go about it," Cadmus said, laughing lightly. "I really got into it too when I awakened, but it died down after like... three months. After I discovered how dangerous it really can be—the war. I've found it easier to just dust youma and avoid the Negaverse like the plague, or put up a bit of a fight before running. Do you patrol? This is usually where I keep a lookout. Between here and the mall."
The topic of his patrol didn't interest Cadmus, so he returned to the talk of homeworlds. "Oh, yea, I totally know what you mean. The first time I went, I heard, like, voices. I thought my homeworld was haunted! But in actuality, what I heard was just past memories. Scared me something and I didn't return for a few weeks until I thought about it some. It's kinda hard to describe, but apparently our, like, souls—our starseeds—are the same from back then. We're reincarnations, strange right?" Cadmus shook his head, realizing he was getting off topic. "Anyway, Cadmus, the asteroid, is really foresty and warm. Think, spring most of the time, though it does get a winter. And it always smells fresh. It's a really nice asteroid, like a mini Earth, just, y'know, without anyone on it. In the past where there was people though, it used to be for farming and stuff."

"I've pretty much learned that going against agents at this point just gets me into trouble." He wouldn't mention how he hadn't won against any of them. He shrugged his shoulders at the mention of patrolling. "Haven't really done that yet. Mostly been practicing some other stuff while powered and just run into agents that way. Could start patrolling, but I don't know where I would do it." Perhaps near his workplace, but that might give agents a clue as to where he worked. He would think about a patrol place later if he was really up to it. He raised another eyebrow at the other senshi at the mention of reincarnation. "Really? Reincarnated? Never heard anything about that." He certainly hadn't been told that. "Thanks for the warning on the voices though. At least I'll know what those are once I hear them." It was interesting to hear the other speak about his homeworld though. An asteroid with a forest on it? From what he had learned in school, Earth was pretty much the only place with life on it and they hadn't found anywhere else that was quite like it. But... considering what he had learned when he was awakened and about the negaverse and such, he apparently needed to start re-thinking all that he knew. "That sounds nice. Wish I could visit some time. I would like to see it. Though don't think you have to take me, it just sounds interesting." He wondered what his homeworld would be like. Although he could only imagine it being a desolate place that was freezing cold all of the time because 'space'. "When can you visit your homeworld? Whenever?"

Cadmus scratched the back of his neck and gave a sheepish laugh. "Well, I'd be more than willing to take you!" he said. "'Cause I really, really, really, really wanna go back, but it, like, takes time. A lot of energy goes into zooming through space and back, and then time for that energy to recharge, so I gotta wait. If you want to come, we can go in a week, but we'd have to find a good time since I got... school, and you probably have classes or work?"
"As for you, well, sure, you can visit your homeworld whenever, but I'd prepare first. Y'know, pick a time that's convenient and when no one would think you've gone missing or something. But afterward..." Cadmus went quiet to focus on the other sailor's energy signature. Then, he said, "I'm guessing you're a basic senshi? It's what your signature feels like. If that's the case, after you visit it the first time, you gotta wait three weeks before you go again. I'm guessing the waits in-between travels gets shorter, because I can visit every two. At least, that's what I'm thinking."

Caliban nodded. "Thank you. I would like to see it. If you want we can add each other in our phones and you can just phone me sometime when you're ready?" He was still trying to figure out the phone but it wasn't too bad. At least he didn't have to worry about school and his schedule was fairly regular, even though he worked retail hours. But considering he worked full time, he tended to have the same shifts. "I have work but we can work a time out or something later. Thank you for allowing me to come with you." It would be interesting to see someone else's homeworld. It might make it a bit less nerve-wracking to visit his own. Caliban gave another nod in the affirmative. "Yes, I've just started so I'm still getting to know all of this stuff. I'll try to visit when I have time. Might be nice for a vacation or something. At least I wouldn't have to spend money on it. Though... is there a time limit for how long I can be on my homeworld? I don't want to be teleported back randomly." That would be quite the mood whiplash.

"Sure! I'm down for that. I can register you really quickly, just... hold... still..." Cadmus fiddled about on his phone for a second, before pulling up the camera app and snapping a picture of Caliban. Despite the haphazard shot, the senshi phone registered him quickly, and stored his contact in the rather small list Cadmus had accumulated already.
"You can do the same, I think; just pull up the camera and take a shot." The boy struck a heroic pose upon saying this, just to fill his ego a bit. All the while, while holding the pose, he said, "Hey, it's no problem. I've wanted to bring someone along, but always forget to keep in contact, ahaha. I-I promise I won't do that to you, though. Will definitely send you a text when I'm free." Unfortunately, he couldn't remain still for long, and gruffly assuaged the itch on his nose. "Naw, you can stay for as long as you want. It'd be kind of shitty if your homeworld just slingshot you back to Earth in, like, the middle of traffic or something. You return the same way you get there; press the home button on your phone, and you'll be back in the same place you left from."

Caliban quickly pulled out his phone and also snapped the boy's picture. Too bad he couldn't share it, but at least the kid had confidence. "All right it's fine. I won't be too mad if you forget. I can imagine you're busy." It's not like he had to visit the kid's homeworld, it would just be a nice thing to do. "And before I forget, my name is Caliban, if you can add that info into the phone." It might be easier to put a name to a face at least. "And thank you. I'm glad I can stay for as long as I want. Would hate to just be randomly thrown back." He chuckled at the senshi's description of what wouldn't happen. The White Moon would probably lose way too many senshi if that happened. "I'll extend the offer to you too once I've visited my home world. If you want to visit that is."

Cadmus knocked a knuckle to his forehead. "Right, introductions! Grah, I need to stop jumping into things. I'm Cadmus, nice to meet you, Caliban, and happy to help." He saluted the other sailor before typing in his name.
His eyes sparkled again, and one could see the excitement light him up like a firecracker. "Hell yea, I'd love to! Just let me know when and where!"
Looking to the time on his phone, Cadmus realized just how long he let his break take. He didn't want to leave the other sailor to his own devices, but he had to get back to his patrol, and time was ticking until his dad would come home from work.
"So it's getting kinda late and I got a few more places to check out before heading home," he said. "And I'm sure I'm keeping you from something too, so I can leave you to it, unless you have any more questions?"

Caliban did the same and typed the young senshi's name in. "Cadmus, all right. Good to meet you then. And thank you for all of the info. Glad I found someone willing to tell me a bit about what a senshi can do." He replied, smirking a bit. "And I'll make sure to reach you when I'm free to take you to mine." He nodded at the other. It was starting to get late and all he had been wanting to do tonight was to practice a bit more. He needed to get back to his apartment and get a good night's rest in. Tomorrow was supposed to be a busy day with a huge sale going on at his work. "No, I think I'm good for tonight. I was mostly just curious when I felt your aura, but I'm glad I got to learn more about myself. Thanks again for the conversation, and I'll talk to you later." And with that, he hopped away in the direction of his apartment, ready to get a good sleep in. Unoderi All right, this is the last post from me!
