She’d been asking around. Do you know Aegir? Have you seen him? Where does he hang out? Can I get his number? I heard a story and I have some questions. It was actually kind of hard to pin him down. She didn’t exactly have the largest little black book of senshi or knights, to ask personally. It meant, annoyingly, that she had to physically go out and look and ask people if they’d seen him. Quartz had a name and a rough description, but it wasn’t much to go on. Eros stretched as she leaned back against a chimney, enjoying the warmth that came up through the brick. The bookstore was old enough to have actual brick and an actual chimney, which was an oddity in itself. She’d passed by the place more times than she could remember, but beyond hearing some friends talk about how cool it was inside, she hadn’t paid it much attention. It was a good enough resting point for now, while she considered her next move. She could make ask Quartz if he had any more info, or knew where she should go to ask about him. Maybe she just had to ask around some more, hunt down more high level signatures. Puck was no help… he didn’t know anyone any more than she did. Digging her dugout from where she’d tucked it between her breasts, Eros packed the bat inside and lit up, a small flicker of light before the blue smoke drifted up into the night sky. Everything was always better when you took the edges off it. More hopeful, less like an impossible task.

It had been a dull sort of evening. The sort that seemed to drag on and on with no manner of end in sight. Boring. Xe had, in fact, only a few moments before, resigned herself to returning early, and settling in for a bit of binge watching with Lenore and Slate. If Slate was even there. There was a chance the corrupt was still out and working towards fulfilling his quota. Unless she felt like contacting over a crystal, she wouldn't have any way of knowing until she returned to the apartment. But such thoughts were eager placed on the back burner as the general picked up the faint tingle of an order aura the very edge of her periphery. At a guess, she'd place the soldier mid level. Not quite the challenge she'd have preferred, but leagues more fun than the beginners were ever able to offer. With renewed vigor the agent followed that shining energy beacon, and was quite pleasantly surprised by what she found at the end of that metaphorical bread crumb trail. "Eros." Well wasn't this just a fun little coincidence? There was a distinctive purr to the fighter's voice as she appeared at the corner of the building's roof. Unarmed, though no less dangerous for the lack of shining weaponry. Without, the colorful ink staining her left shoulder very nearly glowed against pale skin and the dark of her attire. The last time they'd met the war paint that cut across her face had been neat and tidy. Now, it had a smudged quality to it, the darkness decorating deceptively soft features in dark smudges. She'd put the paint to other uses. "Hard at work I see." Unsurprisingly, there was the subtle edge of the threat to the comment.

The super senshi started and coughed, sending a puff of smoke wafting up to disperse in the night air. She squinted as her eyes watered, but now that she was paying attention, she could feel the dark beat against her senses that came with a negaverse agent. Stronger than Quartz, but the purr was familiar. Oh joy. Whelp, time to turn on her charm."General Xenotime!" Eros greeted her, her wide mouth splitting into a grin. She blew out the rest of the smoke, her bat pinched between her fingers, and swept the general a little half bow with her arms open. "I was just having a smoke. Would you like to join me?" Despite the threat the General seemed to be radiating, the senshi remained relaxed. Tension and fear only excited predators, after all. It wouldn't be a good idea to rile her up... at least in a harmful sort of way. Eros offered the bat, still half full of weed. "I've been scouring the city, but its been hard tracking this guy down. No one I know knows him, so I've had to resort to running down random people and asking, which is really slowing me down. Half of 'em want to know why I want to know. If you have some suggestions where to look, it could speed things up a bit." Not that she was real sure Xenotime did... they probably would have given her that info from the get-go, rather than letting her run around at loose ends.

Her nose wrinkled as she waved away the offer and shook her head. It wasn't that she'd never endured before, but it had been a long time, and she tended to treat her body as as if it wear the lethal weapon she invisioned herself to be. "No, thank you. Not my vice." Her tastes ran in different, more carnal directions. Xenotime chased a buzz with violence, or heat. Both of which were easy to see in grey eyes as she crossed the roof to reach the petite senshi. So delicate. So small. She could have broken those little bird bones like matchsticks, she was sure of it. But that wasn't why she was there. Not even to check in on the girl's progress, though she nodded along as the girl gave an update. "I don't. I've not encountered him before, but don't worry, mäuschen. I'm not here to check up on you." It had been luck really, that had let the general stumble upon the senshi, since she was there, it'd be a shame not to poke a bit. She'd responded so nicely to the bit of man handling Xenotime had subjected her to last time. Her smile widened a touch, teeth flashing in the moonlight. "You liked our last encounter," she purred, reaching out to stroke the backs of her fingers along Eros jaw and the underside of her chin, using that deceptively gentle touch to coax her closer. "Didn't you, mäuschen?"

Thin fingers carefully tucked her bat back into its dugout and then slid that into the back of her waistband where it would be moderately safe. Xenotime listened to her report but seemed… uninterested in it, to Eros’ surprise. Not that she commented on it. Xe had been the busting all up in the place asking about progress. She remained still as the woman approached, using the same skills as last time to not rile up the predator staring her down. Don’t show fear. Don’t run.She wasn’t really afraid of Xe doing anything to her, but you just really never knew, especially with the way the woman acted around her. She was doing it now even, looking at her like a delicious little tidbit to gobble up. Her eyebrows lifted, along with her chin, as the general reached out to stroke her and she remained still for it, little more than a cheeky smile moving across her pierced lips. “Maushen? What does that mean?” She asked, curious about the strangely foreign word. Her head tilted to the side, just a little motion that was almost bird-like, and playfully curious, like her eyes. “And if you aren’t here to check up on me, what are you here for? My skills only really run one of two ways, and you already said you weren’t here for my intelligence gathering abilities…” The tip of her pierced tongue ran out and over her lips then, curling in the corner of her mouth. “It depends on what part of last time you mean… I could do without the threat of life and limb part. If you mean the being on my knees part…” Her smile flashed wide and playful, mischief in her eyes. Her hands, she curled together loosely behind her back. “Maybe.”

The general grinned as she slid warm fingers down the line of Eros' through and around the back of her neck, drawing the petite senshi in against her body. Small, smaller even than herself. Xenotime wasn't used to being physically imposing when dealing with those she had any interest in, it was different, but pleasantly so. "Sweet mouse, roughly translated." The question was a smart one. "I am curious about your progress, but admittedly my curiosity with you has been piqued." Her free hand traced lightly up a bare arm, following pale contours. "You're not quite what I'd been expecting." Oh, she'd done the same old White Moon song and dance, but there'd been more than that. There'd been delightfully surprising reactions to some of the rougher handling the senshi had been put through, and that was just oh so intriguing for the general. "I still think you'd look good in black, but I think I definitely prefer you alive and whole." Her thumb ran the edge of Eros' jaw.

Xe tugged and Eros went, following her cues like the seasoned expert she was. If there was anything besides music that she knew how to do, it was that dance between two people who wanted the same thing. "Cute." She murmured, her hands automatically finding the general's hips. Pressed together, she got to enjoy the firm body under the grey and green uniform, hinting there was more strength there than just what the magical power provided. Or so she liked to imagine. Eros offered a cheeky smile, trying not to shiver as fingertips raised goosebumps up her arm. It was a pleasant sensation, and she responded to it unabashedly. "I'm one-of-a-kind. And I promise, far more fun like this than any other way." She said. Her hands splayed and she ran then down the outside of Xe's thighs, curving around to the back and upwards, dragging with her fingertips. "You wanna see?" It was maybe a bad idea to travel this road with this general, Quartz would definitely frown over it, but it seemed like everything was flowing that way anyway, so why fight it? And there were benefits, to having another general with an interest to keeping her intact.

Every inch of the general spoke of a life of training beyond the call of the Negaverse. Not just the muscled definition of gym rats seeking hot bodies, Xenotime's strength was gained with purpose. Then senshi would feel it as small hands slid along the outside of her thighs and up along supple curves. Bold. The general liked it. Truthfully, she hadn't excepted the offer to come this quickly, but she certainly wasn't disappointed by it. Grinning down at the petite senshi like the proverbial cat that ate the canary. Even now, she couldn't deny the lingering urge to plunge a hand through that delicately thin chest. Fingertips seeking out the cut crystal of her starseed to pump it full of chaos. But she didn't have the juice to roll her, Xenotime knew that. As much as she wanted to try, to test her own limits, she wouldn't do it was someone so very agreeable. And agreeable she was. Fingers splaying along Eros' back, she drew the senshi up tight against her, nudged her chin up with the bud of her thumb, and tipped her head down to catch plump, pink lips.

Xenotime tasted like something smokey and rich, smelled like leather and steal and dust. Like something enticing, and dangerous. Like something you knew could destroy you, if you couldn't ride it and lost your grip. Eros knew she had the experience for things like that, but like every time she reached, it wasn't because she knew she could survive it... it was because she wanted to taste this. The possibility it could all go horribly, horribly wrong. That's what made it so enticing. She made the softest kitten noises as she was handled, the sound low in her throat calculated to entice. Some people liked feeling how vulnerable you were, and she'd pegged Xe as a predator from the get-go. Eros opened to her, wormed fingers under the lower edge of her cincher, and arched. She'd deal with whatever came after this when it was time to. For now, she had a General to entertain.
