Dallol always had an inkling that college students had it rough. She just had no idea how tough it was exactly until she herself became a DCU freshman last year and in the process of sharing a dorm room on the DCU campus with her boyfriend Darren, became privy to the things that he was constantly stressing over as of late such as which career path should he opt for and whether the monthly pay accrued would enable him to pay off his college loan, apartment rental and provide the both of them with the basic necessities that they would need on a day to day basis.
It wasn't like Hywel, Lily or even she herself wouldn't be chipping in to help. She had attempted rationalizing with him to try to take the burden off him some but to no avail. With so many things on her mind and schedule, it came as no wonder that powering up and patrolling the city would be relegated to a lower position on her priority list of things that needed doing at some point. God help her if she could even remember just when exactly did her duties as a Knight get so far down on that same list until it became something that 'should be done only when one has time for it', which was just about never at the rate things were going in her life.
It was the recent visit to Celsus' Wonder at the Chronos Knight's invitation that made her stop and think long and hard as to what exactly it was that she had been doing all this time and re-think her priorities. Which was why here she was, all by herself and going about her very first patrol in a very long time on a Thursday night that she could even pass off as a newly awakened Page if she wasn't a Squire already.

Alphubel had studied hard for the night, and it seemed that there were a break in the classes, so he decided to go on patrol this night, even if it was weird being a weekday night with school tomorrow. That just meant he couldn't be out too late. It was just a bit after the visit to Celsus' Wonder, which had made him a bit excited to go and see his own. However, he had been unable too yet, too caught up in homework and talking to his brother to be able to visit it even though he desperately wanted to. What would his wonder look like? Would it be as amazing or at least almost as amazing as the one he had just visited? He wanted to visit when he had as much time as possible to explore it and he did not want to waste the trip if he only had a few hours. However, as soon as he powered up, he realized that there was another knight in the area! He decided to go check it out, but would leave them alone if they wanted to be by themselves. He didn't want to be a bother after all. When he got a bit closer, he realized it was one of the other knights he had seen at the wonder and decided to go talk to her. He was surprised that she was out on such a cold night. Her outfit looked good, though it seemed to be fit more for the summertime. Something he was going to regret when it came to that time. He got closer to her and waved, hoping to catch her attention.

First was resuming patrols. There may be times when Dallol would need to temporarily put them on hold so that she could focus on school, but never again would she drop them from her schedule for a prolonged period of time the way she just did unless something life changing happened to her or the people around her.
Next was her wonder which she woefully hadn't visited yet. Was visiting her wonder something that was already avail to her back when she was a Page? Or something that was only avail after she became a Squire like the magic that she wielded? Not that that mattered to her now but it would be nice to know lest she accidentally misinformed one of the Pages she came across like the one who was approaching her now.
Lifting a hand to wave back to Alphubel, she smiled and waited for the Polaris Page to come to her. "You were there too right? When Celsus invited us over to his wonder..."

Once he got closer to him she spoke to him and he stopped a bit in front of her. "Yes..." He remembered seeing her, but just barely. However he had been locked into conversation with someone else, so it wasn't a surprise, however he was glad that he could talk to this squire later. "We unfortunately didn't get to speak to each other. But then gain, the wonder was so interesting that it was a little hard to carry on conversation while going through the maze. But it was nice to see at least." He was blabbering. "Oh! I'm Alphubel, a page of Polaris." Introductions were something that he believed should be done at least pretty quickly. That way they wouldn't be calling each other "you" the whole time at least. Thought it was fine if she didn't tell him her name, some people were just very private.

It was good to know that she wasn't old enough to remember things wrong and mistake Alphubel for another person, Dallol mused to herself. "I agree. I don't suppose that you've been to yours before?" The Page seemed to be pretty new so he probably hadn't but it would be rude on her part to assume so no?
"Dallol, Squire of Uranus." She gave her name as well when Alphubel volunteered his. "And in case you're wondering..." A hand was waved towards each of their fukus. "... yes, you're going to be stuck in that during summer so it might be a good idea to see if you can remove some of those layers when the season changes lest you get a heat stroke from it." She pointed out to him for his benefit with an amused expression on her face.

He blushed a bit. "I... haven't. I'm a bit nervous actually. I mean, I have no idea what it's going to look like and what it's like. It's like vacationing somewhere brand new but you haven't read up on it at all and don't have any information on it whatsoever." At least with vacations one had SOME idea of what they might be getting into. But a wonder? This was brand new to him. He grimaced a bit when she mentioned his outfit. He liked it, though it was definitely more of a winter one. It was going to be quite warm when summer came around. "Yeah, I'll see if I can do that." He was sure she wasn't being mean by pointing that out, but he still hadn't figured out what to do. When it was warm earlier this year he hadn't been patrolling at all, and instead out and enjoying the weather, so he hadn't been able to tell what it would be like with this outfit on in warmer weather. "I wish we got to choose our uniforms, or at least got to change them up when the weather changed."

Was Alphubel actually blushing?
Dallol couldn't help noticing the flush that rose to the Page's cheeks though she made no mention of it lest he started to feel uncomfortable around her. "That's ok. I haven't been to mine before either so I can empathise with those concerns. When you're able to visit your wonder however, you could consider bringing a friend along if that'll help?"
It was kinda embarrassing on her part to admit that really, especially taking into consideration the fact that she was already a Squire. Speaking of which, she probably ought to visit her wonder whenever she had a breather from the many other things that needed her attention.
"You do that. I wish that that was possible too. Sort of like a summer or winter version of the school uniforms that the kids have. All the lewd lines and looks I keep getting from people whenever I power up gets to me at times but it's not so bad after a while I guess." Dallol laughed, still trying to keep the mood light and positive in order to break the ice between the both of them.
"So how are you finding this knight business so far? Have you made any friends whom you regularly patrol with?"

Alphubel hated how much he had been blushing lately. He didn't do it nearly as much at his old school. He supposed it had to be from living in a brand new city and everyone he met was new to him that he didn't want to screw up their first interactions, though perhaps the blushing did that already. He nodded. "I have been told that... and I would like to. But I also sort of want to do it on my own you know? I haven't really done anything that big before by myself without my brother being with me, so I want to try it out on my own first. I just hope I'm not disappointed." That's what he was really afraid of. After seeing the amazing Wonder of Celsus that they had both recently been too, he was feeling guilty that he could be disappointed with his own. He considered her outfit for a bit. It wasn't too bad! It probably went with the theme of her planet at least. "I think it looks great! Or at least I'm pretty sure it fits in with whatever theme Uranus has." He wouldn't make that annoying joke about the planet's name. He probably had too innocent of a mind for a 16 year-old, but he thought it was tasteful at least. He shrugged a shoulder. "It's... okay. I mean I'm not really sure what I'm doing or if what I'm doing is correct, because I really can't fight at all, but I've been meeting a lot of interesting people at least! None whom I regularly patrol with though, but I could probably contact some of them and see if they were up to it. Do you like being a knight? You're probably better than I am at least since you're a squire."
