Arseno huffed a bit as he waited in the warehouse that he and Benitoite had once trained in. He figured that this would be the best place to meet the general again, especially considering this was somewhat of a training session. He had finally contacted Benitoite after his promotion and now they were going to meet after it had happened for the first time.
He had asked Benitoite about his new duties and if he could possibly be trained in how to teleport, considering he could now do it and had never done it before because of that.
He had been shirking his duties a bit, though he at least didn't need to drain as much energy as a captain, but he hadn't really been keeping up with his energy quota anyway. He had been a bit too busy still trying to deal with his feelings about the promotion and the feeling of needing to attack White Moon fighters.
Right now, he was just currently waiting for the general to arrive. And he wasn't late, Arseno was just early, eager to learn about how to use his new skills.

it had been a surprise, though a good one, when he'd gotten the call from Arseno to meet him for training and information. What made him preen like a peacock was when he had learned the other was a Captain, not that he didn't expect it - he knew it would happen. Knowing the other needed help he'd cleared his schedule at the most convenient time for the other, not wanting the others lessons to wait, and that was where he was off to now - lessons.
For the petite general teleporting was easy...almost as simple as breathing, though not quite so simple, and with the energy he had as a General a single teleporting wouldn't drain him too bad either. So that was how he got to the warehouse. One moment he wasn't there and the next - he was.
"Arseno." Calling out as he made his approach, reaching up toward the other. "I'm glad to see you - and a Captain now. Congratulations." Proud...yes he was very proud. "You said teleporting lessons and to know about new duties. Which do you want to cover first?" He asked resting a hand on the others shoulder.
Already he was planning to offer dinner to the other after lessons, teleporting might just tire him out so food would help build some energy back up. He could remember his own lessons being tiring...and with a few accidents...he hoped this went well, he was sure it would.

Arseno jumped a bit as the general popped into view. He really needed to get used to the random teleporting, especially considering he could do it now. He let out a breath, trying to get his heart back under control before he said anything. He was glad that Benitoite had gotten here so quickly though, even if he wasn't expecting it.
He blushed a bit at the praise before saying, "Good to see you too and thank you. I think I would like to practice teleporting first. That and I was wondering if there was a way to get used to others randomly teleporting near you. You gave me quite the scare." It wasn't too bad, but if there was a way to at least get used to it then he wanted to try it out.

Laughing softly he shook his head. "There isn't any real way to get used to it...other than accepting it can happen." Shrugging his shoulders a bit. "Over time you get used to it...then you just ignore it eventually. It becomes expected almost." Which was true. He was used to it at this point. Anyone above Captain he knew could do it, especially General and above, and he just expected it. It made calling for help all that much easier really.
"Teleporting...that's fun to learn though it might take a few lessons. It'll be a big energy drain for you. It gets easier in when you hit General. I will tell you that now, so you are cautious about over taxing yourself in a battle." Where as he liked to use it to help himself in a fight the other might, as a Captain, do better using it as a means of escape if he got into a fight he couldn't win. Either way though it was best to remember limitations.
"Mmm...for teleporting there are two other thing to keep in mind. you can only teleport to a place you've been to, when powered. So you are limited in teleporting locations. The other thing is that the further you teleport, distance wise, the more energy it takes. So even if you could teleport to Europe...you'd wind up unconscious when you arrived." He doubted he could even teleport that far without winding up on the ground unconscious.
"Now, to teleport it's fairly easy. To get your weapon you think about it...same for powering up. The same can be said for teleporting, though it takes more focus at first - as you get used to it." That was everything, right? He couldn't think of anything else which was important really...all lessons he'd learned and remembered to pass it on to others. No, he was certain there wasn't anything else.

Arseno was disappointed. He wasn't really sure how accepting it would get him used to it. Maybe if he did more teleporting himself and there were more who teleported to him it would be easier? He wasn't sure. He nodded however to the general in understanding. It sounded like teleporting was a good exit strategy if he needed it for right now.
He didn't have a lot of places to teleport either. He certainly hadn't been powered up outside of Destiny City, unless it was the Negaverse. "All right. Is there anything during the teleporting I should know? I mean if you keep your eyes open, is it weird when suddenly you find yourself in another place? And teleporting to the Negaverse, is that a whole lot different?"

"I think, at least for me, I keep my eyes closed. It helps me to focus, so I don't get distracted by things. it'll take a good amount of focus, thinking of where you want to go, so that can be a helpful way to do that. It is jarring at first...leave you off center a bit and maybe a bit dizzy. You are changing locations after all and everything needs to catch up and adjust." It got easier with time, at the beginning though it was not that friendly on the body...or maybe it was just himself who had the issue.
It wouldn't be the first time he was more sensitive to things, most notably being medications. His smaller frame made pain medications a bit of an enemy for him, at least the ones hospitals gave, as they caused him nasty cases of vertigo which resulted in being physically sick. mild sedatives knocked him out for most of the day as well. This could be another similar thing.
"Teleporting down there...you can't get down into the rift when teleporting...just the castle. So you are a bit limited on that really."

"I'll try keeping my eyes closed first at least." Arseno assumed that one would have to concentrate on the exact spot too, which would make it a bit harder. But that's why he had to practice, right? "Any suggestions on what to try right now?" He was here to practice after all.
And the castle was fine, he honestly hadn't explored much of the Negaverse to remember many spots within it. "Sounds fine for right now. At least if I can teleport there I can explore a bit. Or at least I won't have to keep relying on other people to get there now."
While they were going on though... "Is there anything different I need to do duty-wise as a Captain? I'm sure there is, but I haven't really run into anything yet."

"Pick a place, if I can get there also, I'll give the ok." So he could teleport himself there as well. "We'll do it like that. Somewhere you've been and are comfortable teleporting to." He'd go as well if for no other reason than to make sure his captain didn't teleport right in front of some eternal or knight, or something similar. He'd be keeping the other safe during his training - that was for sure.
"Yeah, you won't be needing someone to help you down there from now on. Also, you can take someone with you...but it's more energy used. So only if you need to, such as you and someone else being in danger. That in mind I would suggest keeping an energy orb on hand, somewhere in your uniform, so you can replenish energy you might spend doing such a thing."
Tapping his foot he tilted his head. "You can now pick a branch you'd like to join. I'll leave that to you, I won't tell you which to join, it's what you think best suits you. Also your energy quota changes, you'll find that noted in your files. I don't know what it'll be now." It would be less though.
"Training others, lieutenants is now a thing for you as well as letting us know if you find anyone you think would make a good agent. It's nothing too hard."

Tom wasn't exactly sure where the best place to teleport would be that they had both been other than... "Would your apartment be okay? I mean that's pretty far. I mean I can just try teleporting around here if you want though, might not be the best idea to go too far when I'm just trying to teleport." He didn't want to mess this up somehow, or at least he wanted to be able to do it. For some reason in the back of his mind there was something telling him that it just wasn't possible for him to do. But he had seen it done many times, why would it be any different now?
He wondered what to do with an energy orb though. "If I keep an energy orb with me, how do I use it?" After all, he hadn't really experimented with the darn things. He had just been collecting them and filling his quota energy for right now.
He nodded at the new duties though. "Well... I'll look at the branches then, though for right now I'll probably just stay where I am. Still haven't really found how I fit into the Negaverse still." He knew he was stuck here now considering he had taken a starseed. He had been reassured by others that it was the right thing to do but... it was still a life. And at this point, he knew that he couldn't be forgiven for it.

As much as he wanted to say no, to mention it being a bad idea cause of the aura they would both give off, he nodded his head anyway." Sure." If Katya was home she'd pick up on their auras and block them, and he was sure she was home. Had he not had Katya he would have turned down the idea, it wasn't safe. Even with Katya living with him he still didn't teleport to or from his home unless absolutely necessary.
"My place would be fine." His town house, two townhouses made into one, would be fine for this. Around here would work also but he figured to go with the first choice. "You should be fine with that distance." A bit tired but not too bad.
"You eat them. But I wouldn't make a habit of it - they are addicting. Starseeds are worse...though they do also heal some minor things." Which meant they came in handy in a pinch, something to be used in a battle perhaps. "Too many can cause some...problems. Though the amount needed would be large."
Moving to place a hand on the others shoulder he leaned in close. "You'll do fine teleporting. Clear your mind and focus on my home. Close your eyes and just picture going there. Remember how you power up - just picturing and wanting it. Same idea. I'll follow."

Arseno could tell from Beni's body language that his suggestion hadn't been a good one. But there weren't many places that they had been together really, unless it was that random spot where Arseno had been forced to become an agent or into the castle that was in the rift. But the general seemed to begrudgingly agree to it. Arseno would apologize later for it.
Eating energy didn't seem to be that good of an idea. He would almost rather risk losing than trying an addictive substance, there was a reason he stayed away from alcohol in his every-day life. "I'll... keep that in mind then." He might keep some for emergency purposes only and would definitely have to watch himself.
He nodded to the general. "I'll try it right now then." And with that he closed his eyes, and thought about Beni's apartment, trying to picture how it had looked the last time he had been there, and trying to will himself to be there.
He felt a shift in the air, but it took a bit for him to open his eyes, nervous that he was just looking like an idiot in front of Beni by not doing anything.

Watching to make sure the other did teleport he followed a moment later. It was easier for him, he had gotten in the habit of keeping his eyes open most of the time - just so he couldn't be taken by surprise. When he did arrive he smiled at the sight of Arseno in his living room.
"Good, very good." He knew the other would manage it, he just didn't know so quickly. He'd taken a few tries, maybe it was just his inability to focus enough...something to blame on age perhaps. He'd been young when he'd made General...sixteen...seventeen - young.
"I'm proud." He added then clapping the other on the shoulder gently.
"Do you feel the drain on your energy though?" He questioned the other gently. "That is something to keep in mind, how much you feel that drain. Keep it in the back of your mind so you know when you hit your limit." Where you know you won't be able to teleport...or where you won't have the energy to continue a fight for long. It was something to remember.
"Let me get you a drink." Powering down to do so he knew Katya was home, she was most of the time - damn book worm. So he had no issue right now with the other in his home as he was. Aiden was out right now, thankfully.
"Now, for that dinner I promised. Anything in mind that you'd like?"

Arseno opened his eyes when Beni addressed him and was excited that he had been able to do it. However, with Beni clapping him on the shoulder, Arseno suddenly felt very tired and knew he had to sit down quickly. He powered down and went over to one of the couches to take a rest. "Thanks..." He didn't know he would feel that tired after that. he would have to teleport shorter distances. He had overestimated how far this apartment was.
"Yeah I'm really tired right now." Tom commented, though it didn't seem to be in a sleepy way, he just felt like he needed to eat or sit for a bit before being able to get up and move a lot again. "I probably won't be teleporting that far anytime soon unless it's an emergency." But it might be useful in battle at least. He rubbed his head, trying to clear up the bit of dizzyness that had hit him.
He felt a bit guilty for, what could be considered rushing, to Beni's apartment, he hadn't meant to but clearly Alex knew that Tom would be quite drained after that, so he was appreciative of the food offer. "Um... just not seafood or something too spicy. Otherwise I can go for anything at this point." At least his own apartment wasn't too far from here.Sleet Tempest Snape We can do a couple more posts and end it or if you want to do a post and then I'll post an end one we can do that?

"Draining, like I said. It's why you limit yourself in a battle of any sort. Use it sparingly...it won't get much easier till you make General...then you can use it against an enemy like I do." Already making his way to the kitchen for a drink for them both. Food would come, he would treat the other to a meal out, but first a drink for them both - especially Arseno.
"Drink first, then we go out for food. You should rest well tonight, gain your energy back." Grabbing two small bottle of juice, he tended to have more healthy things in his home though there were other things...he did live with other people after all.
Laughing as he returned with the drinks, offering one to the other. "Alright. We can go out for food, unless you want me to order in?" He asked, wanting to know what the other was up for, he was the one who'd just used up a good deal of energy. "If you want you can also spend the night, I have guest rooms. I know your tired so if you want we can stay here and sleep the night. I'll manage some clothing for you and whatever else." He should, perhaps, get sizes for all his officers and get a change or two of clothing for each...for times like this.
Maybe Katya would be best for finding out sizes, it might be odd if he went asking, and she could give him the information then. Who would question a cat? Who wouldn't answer her either? It was something he'd discuss with her later.SSBrosB Up to you what you wanna do.

Tom felt as though he was about to fall asleep on the couch, his eyelids feeling quite heavy. However he managed to stay awake. He hadn't felt like this ina while, though it was easy for him to nod off if he was tired enough, it's why he couldn't stay up too late at night. He nodded in thanks to the other and took the offered drink, opening it and taking a sip of it. He felt better when it settled in his stomach a bit.
"Hm... I'd go with ordering in if that's all right. I don't know if i have the energy to be going out to eat." His entire body was telling him to stay where he was and gain back his energy. He appreciated the staying the night offer. "Thanks, I'll think about it. I might be able to get up and go back to my apartment, but we'll see." He shook his head, trying to shake away the tiredness.
He suddenly remembered the other thing he wanted to ask about. "Since I'm a captain now... I heard you can get a youma at this stage. You know how to do that?"
