Ohhhhh. Her daddy was asleep! Not even his normal 'Keep one eye open, always on guard' type of sleeps too! He was full on passed out after a long day of hunting to feed both himself and keep the endless void Yukio called a stomach content.
Within a blink of an eye the tiny ball of white fluff had zoomed off deep into the heart of the thicket. There was no way she was going to pass up a chance to explore a place like this! They had never been somewhere this green and lush. Well, perhaps besides the Nil'Noc. But their forest was mostly flower beds and twisty trees perfect for the number of leopards that lived there but useless to a little lion like herself. No matter how hard she tried, and yes she had tried hard, but still she could never get up there to be with her strange friends in the trees.
But this place was on a whole other level! This had grass - REAL SOFT GRASS, mushrooms, bushes, annoying bugs, leaves that fell under every color of the rainbow, and exotic looking plants all around. It was like a herbalist's wonderland!
Her father's tales of faeries and spirits that roamed these parts, along with their nasty little tricks had quite the opposite affect he was hoping for. Instead of being terrified to leave his side and give him a much needed break from watching her like a hawk, the forklore tales had only sparked a passion to find one of these mythical creatures for herself.
The greeeat and powwweerfull monster hunter Yukio was on the case now! She would be the first one to befriend a fairy and learn all their secrets! Surely they couldn't resist her charms and friendship flower crowns as gifts. They'd all be best friends forever after this, all part of her master plan! Now, all she had to do was use her expert eyes to spot one and get on their trail.
Problem was her "Expert" eyes were so focused on looking around for tiny, glowing, lions like her father described that she failed to notice completely that the 'log' she was struggling to climb over was - in fact- much more than what met the eye.
Epine de Rose At least she didn't fall arse over tail this time. xP

The slumbering lion was used to the pitter patter of paws and hooves across his person. This might have explained why he remained asleep as Yukio began to struggle her way over his form. His companions often teased him, calmly suggesting that he choose to sleep where he would be most visible, but they all knew that the manner in which he operated ensured he would always have complete success. The fact that no one ever saw him, even while he was breathing, was a testament to just how well he functioned in these particular environments.
Had it not been for the young gazelle that often accompanied him, no one would have been any the wiser to his existence. Fortunately for Yukio, Havase was in the company of Zima today and as such, as she continued to try and ascend the summit, the little cub would eventually hear a light giggle. Where it came from was another matter entirely - after all, if anyone assumed that Havase was in the company of one who would expose him they were in for a surprise.
...After all this time Zima had long mastered the art of remaining unseen.
"Careful what you step on!" she sang merrily from her vantage point. Her voice seemed to cause Havase to stir, albeit just a touch, and the 'log' gave a very gentle shudder. It would be safe to assume that he had given a stifled yawn, but he remained asleep. Enough prodding from the unseen voice though and he might just wake up...

Yukio was getting increasingly frustrated. Every time she thought she had a grasp on the situation the 'log' would shift under what she thought was her weight and she'd be back to where she began.
Then the giggle came.
Her ears flickering to attention was the first reaction. Stopping for a moment, she flopped her arms across the the main part of the part of the log, her small claws digging in to prevent her from falling. Her head was on a pivot, inquisitively searching for the source of the noise. What was that...? Could it really be a fairy or or a spirit of the forest like her daddy said roamed here? He said most were nice, innocent, but impish with their tricks. So why she was confused, and curious about the noise, she didn't feel any fear or like she was in any kind of danger.
Well, she didn't until the voice called out unexpectedly and the 'log' literally shuddered under her.
Letting out a shriek of terror Yukio immediately let go, falling with a omph onto her back. Letting out a groan the cub slowly rolled onto her side, her tail curling around her. She was still extremely sore from her countless failed attempts at trying to join her leopard friends in the trees, this new crash only reminded her of the bruises still hiding under her coat.
Being graceful and light on her feet it seems was something Yukio was just not destined to be.
Another shift from the log that now was clearly very much alive brought snapped her attention back to the situation at hand. Scrambling back to her feet she watched the 'log' intently. Her hackles bristled in fear as her tail firmly pressed it's self between her legs. Taking slow, careful steps she backed to a safe distance away from the living tree thing before her.
Her wild imagination took control as normal. She had heard of monsters who haunted certain areas. They would hide and sleep during the day before emerging from their slumbers to spend the night hunting for bad little cubs. Cubs who didn't listen to their parents. CUBS LIKE HER! Once again her childish imagination worked against her, flipping the situation from a mere startle to a full blown panic attack for the girl.
"H-h-hello? I...I'm so s-sorry to cl-climb on it!" Her shaky voice was barely over a whisper, not wanting to startle the potential monster. Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes as she continued to back away.
She was starting to realize that her daddy was right. Exploring these forests was a bit more than she could chew at her age. Oh, why didn't she listen to him! Now she was going to be ground up and used for mulch for other trees!! Sucking in a breath she squeaked out loudly, "Ididn'tknowpleasedon'teatme!" before she fell to her knees, covering her face with her paws.

The giggle came again as Zima regarded the now spooked cub - if there was one thing the Gazelle knew, it was that Havase wasn't going to eat anyone today. Technically he had already eaten a while ago and didn't need to feed, but in the grand scheme of things he'd not hurt a cub anyway. The gazelle soon leapt on to the slumbering lion's back and peered down curiously at the petite cub who was now backing away slowly but surely from the mound of lion.
"You wouldn't taste very good," Zima reassured Yukio and lifted her hoof to give Havase several knocks to his head. Eventually he gave another shudder and she leapt off his back. Striding towards the cub, she soon found herself circling her and lowered her head to give a sniff. "There's no meat on you anyway, he'd only be able to use you for a tooth pick," she smiled warmly and eventually, her ears perks. The large lion appeared to be waiting up.
Sure enough the bright blue eyes began to open, a striking contrast to the area around him. At first the lion said nothing, apparently too 'groggy' to react, but if Yukio paid close enough attention it was clear that he was wide awake. Havase was not a lion who suffered from such things. When he woke up, he did so immediately and without a struggle, he was the envy of the collective in that respect, no matter how much practice they might get it still took them a minute or two to gain their bearings.
"You are very small," he observed at last, a deep rumbling tone befitting an individual who seemed to be part of the forest itself. "Very small and very alone," he continued and lifted his head. Shaking off the leaves that had fallen on top of him he finally righted himself and gave a series of stretches. However, based on her otherwise frightened exterior he made no move to draw nearer. Instead he simply fixed his gaze on her with much the same curious expression that Zima had.
"Are you lost?" He queried.
"I neither see, nor hear anyone. There is no scent either," he pointed out.

Her brows furrowed together at the sudden intruder. That's...not what she was expecting. A terrifying roar, some growling, perhaps even a deep thundering voice. But not that warm, amused almost musical like voice. It was very...feminine. She wasn't one to judge, a monster could come in all shapes and sizes, but they didn't sound mean in the least bit! Hesitantly she parted her toes apart over her eyes, peeking through them to see this monster with a rather girly voice.
What she was met with caused Yukio to drop her paws from her eyes all together and simply stare with a confused set of blinks. She expected a dark, hunched over, toothy monster. Not a unnaturally bright - almost to the point of glowing in the sunlight - Gazelle gracefully maneuvering over the living mountain she was just attempting to cross! All she could do was stare owlishly at the gazelle. Her head tilted more and more to the side with each passing second as she tried to process what was going on.
She was still in her shocked and rather dumbfounded state when Zima came over to her. Her head span to follow her circling, minding never to lose track of where the older female was at all times. The curious sniff slapped the little cub back down to reality, one could almost see the lights click back on in her head. With a soft shake of her head Yukio finally spoke, "Soooo you're not going to grind me up into mulch to feed the baby trees?" She inquired, disbelief and wariness dripping from her tone.
Havase finally stirring from his slumber and rising high above her knocked Yukio right back into a stupor. Her jaw hit the floor as she stared up at him in awe. Her body beginning to shake from her toes upwards could have easily been mistaken as fear. Yet her tail thumping uncontrollably behind her hinted at a much different emotion.
She wasn't afraid. Oh nonono, you see Yukio had finally figured out what was going on.
She had found them. She had done it. She was meeting a forest god and his assistant who was clearly a fairy. Only faeries can come out from no where like that! She was even glowing and everything! It all made sense now!
Letting out a wheezy gasp Yukio rose to her feet. The petite cub tappy hopping back and forth in place with her front paws. It was all she could do to contain her excitement and not to go running up to examine her new friend.
But she had been asked some questions by this deity, hadn't she? Ohhhh. It would be best to answer him least he smite her with like plants for legs (Though how cool it would be) or something even worse! Plus if she answered his questions perhaps he would answer some of hers!
"I'm not small, you're just huge!" She stated matter-of-factly, with a tiny nod following along with it. With a small hum she shook her head. "I'm not alone? I'm with you two!" Did he not realize what being alone meant? She was alone a few minutes ago but not anymore! As for the lost matter well, she could do even better than just telling him! Unexpectedly she dashed off to the side to quickly scoop up a colorful shell that looked extremely out of place in a forest like this. Heading back Yukio proudly dropped it at Havase's feet. "I set these down to make sure that I know the way to get back to daddy when I'm done exploring! So I'm never lost!" She explained enthusiastically.
Without a break in breath Yukio continued on, her voice tampering into an excited chirp. "You probably can't smell daddy I had to come really, really-" Pausing she sucked in a deep breathe before continuing making her point. "Reeeaalllllyyyyyy far to find you! I was starting to think that the stories were wrong. But here you are! I really found The Great Forest Guardian and even a fairy!" Her head nodded in the two's respective direction with each title she bestowed on them.
Biting her lower lip Yukio sat down, fiddling her front paws together nervously. "Now that I found you though...can I ask you a few questions please? Pretty please? It's just a few! I promise! I-I can even cross my heart and swear on it promise if that's what you want."

Just what had this child been told by her parents? Zima had to resist the urge to raise a brow as Yukio painted a very grim picture indeed. Who had decided that grinding cubs into mulch for trees was a good lesson to teach them? She wasn't entirely sure what it would achieve, it certainly wasn't a discussion she would ever have with any offspring of her own. Still, when it came to lions she found them all a little peculiar, Havase was perhaps the only one she understood and by their standards he was even more peculiar than they were!
"No," she replied at last and tilted her head to the side. "Why would we do that?" she added and then quickly shook her head. Did she really need to know why Yukio thought that they needed cubs to fertilise the trees... She figured that she most certainly didn't.
"The trees have plenty to eat all on their own," she pointed her hoof towards the fallen leaves, some of which were already slimy at the roots. "The forest knows how to look after itself," she said reassuringly.
Havase however, was regarding the tiny cub with amusement as he was referred to as a guardian, more so at the notion that Zima was a fairy. Unbeknownst to the cub she was fairly close to who and what he actually was; he was certainly a guardian and he certainly lurked in forests, though probably not for reasons that she would anticipate. Frankly, the cub didn't really needed to know those reasons either, though he was acutely aware of her coat colour.
...It was fortunate there were no phantoms here, even more so that her socks blemished the purity!
"Is that so?" he said finally, admiring her ingenuity for placing the shells as she had. He doubted that anyone here would move them, there weren't any mischief makers nearby, so she would be able to find her way back at least. Though to be sure, both he and Zima would no doubt follow her quietly as she returned to her father.
"Then what questions do you have?" he asked curiosity, intrigued as to what the little one might have in store for them based on her own imagination and the stories she might have been told. He could play along, this was the sort of thing he actually enjoyed!

Her head tilted to the side as she pondered her own reasoning as to why she thought up the ridiculous idea in the first place. Thinking out loud she calmly explained the inner workings behind the idea, "Well....the gardeners at the Nil'noc showed me they sometimes had to grind left over rotten meat and plants into mulch for their herbs. I heard stories of monsters eating cubs soooo I figured a tree monster would have to grind anything as well to be able to eat it." Her head turned slightly, taking in the sight of the fallen leaves. Huh, Zima was right. The forest was a strange place to the little cub. It basically cannibalized it's self! Was this what the whole 'Circle of Life' thing she had heard in passing all about?
Yukio turned her attention back to the forest giant before her. Nodding eagerly she picked the shell back up, putting it in the small travel poach she had strapped to her at all times. No doubt she would need all the shells she could manage to retrieve if she decided to go on any other adventures. It was going to be quite a while before her and her daddy made it back to Bahari lands to visit, so she had to be careful about her stock.
She almost let out a tiny squeal of joy as he decided to amuse her inquiry. Ohh, this day was getting even better and better! Hopping herself to her feet she darted over to him now that she was unafraid of the possibility he might eat her. Circling him she studied him thoroughly. Finally stopping the second pass around she gestured with a paw to point at his (mostly) bare back. "Where are your wings? Don't you and the fairy need them to be able to fly? OH! OH NO did you lose them why you were sleeping? Or or were they stolen!?" She let out a gasp in horror, her ears flattening against her head at the sudden realization striking her. "Are you stuck here now because you lost them!? Is that why you were sleeping because you're sad about your wings? Or were you just tired from now having to walk every where?"
She might have been getting just a tad swept up again with her wild imagination. Already the cub was mentally gearing up to go on a wild hunt for his missing wings no matter if they were lost or stolen she would return them back to their rightful owner!

Oh dear, oh dear... Zima flicked her gaze towards the now thoroughly amused lion. By the sounds of it, this little cub had quite the imagination and she had also been introduced to quite a bizarre set of individuals. After all, it was quicker to mulch plant life than it was to utilise meat in fertiliser, thus the Gazelle found it a touch puzzling that these gardeners would do such a think. It wasn't efficient, but who was the Gazelle to judge when it wasn't her home? So long as anywhere she resided was carefully maintained she wouldn't complain.
"...Well, most healthy forests don't need meat," she chuckled and cast her gaze back towards the cub. "It looks after itself using, well, itself," she strode towards some of the more slimy leaves and delicately pushed them to the side near the roots. "The old plant have a lot of wisdom to give back to the younger plants, so as they begin to leave this world they teach the newest buds all about what they've seen," she explained and dropped the leaves again.
"Meat is a stranger thing to the plants, the bugs might prefer that more," Havase interjected and pursed his lips.
Had he lost his wings?
"I have no lost my wings little one, I have never had wings," he chuckled at her enthusiasm and lowered his chin to his paws, blue eyes continuing to watch with interest as she bustled about in her own imagination. "Why would I need wings when I am part of the forest, the forest doesn't fly, does it?" he pointed out wisely. It was then that he motioned to Zima who promptly raised a brow in response.
"Now Zima, she once had wings," he confirmed and shook his head just a touch. "But she lost them when she was chased away by some hungry hyenas," he explained. "They caught her wings but not her," he added. Admittedly this was fairly close to the truth, Havase had found Zima in a region sparse with any form of food; the hyenas had been starving and Zima had been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Fortunately, Havase had been in the right place, so it had worked out...

Her eyes followed with interest as Zima moved around, absorbing the lesson like a sponge. "So it eats itself but also...births itself. That's so cool!" She suddenly started back up her foot tapping as a realization dawned on her. "Waitwaitwait, so what you're saying is that it's true that the trees are alive?! Oh my gods, can you two speak to them then? Are the trees nice or are they mean? Can you hear them now?"
Her head turned back toward Havase once more. My goddness by the end of this her neck was going to be awfully sore from all this head jerking around! "Oh yeah! Bugs break down the plants, small animals eat the bugs, then we eat the small animals! Circle of life, right?!"
The cub paused in her endless pacing to focus on pondering on how to exactly answer his question. "Well, the forest is really reeeeaallly big! The forest may not move but you need to. Birds, bugs, all kinds of animals who live here use wings or other abilities to be able to get around. If you're the guardian you might need to get to one place or another really quickly like if there's a bad person causing trouble or or fire or something!"
But she was knocked out of her much more thoughtful and calm state back into the overly curious and excited childlike wonder in a snap when he explained how the white gazelle once had wings. With another gasp of horror she set her paws over her mouth, looking towards Zima with true pity and remorse. "That's horrible! I'm so sorry...it must be hard to lose something so dear to you like that. There's no way to get them back or find new ones?"

"Now you're getting it!" Zima would have clapped if she had the capacity to do so, but instead she gave a beaming smile. The little cub was certainly astute; she was noticeably good at joining up what she had heard or been told, with new information. Arguably the 'circle of life' was always something used to calm the nerves of a child and explain death to them in general, but this was perhaps the most accurate depiction of how it really worked.
"Everything helps everything else live," she agreed. "When its time has come it passes on its wisdom and then goes on to its next adventure," she confirmed. What that adventure was, was anyone's guess, she truly didn't know herself. However she hoped that it was a rather fun one, if it wasn't, then that would be a rather grim state of affairs.
"If I need to get to a place quickly then I run," Havase interjected as Yukio continued along her rather brisk and excitable train of thought. "Very fast," he added reassuringly. However when she mentioned fire he gave a small, knowing smile and shook his head. Perhaps this little one would end up with a bit more of an education than either she or her parents bargained for, but where Havase came from, his kind didn't necessarily shelter those who asked the right questions.
...Or at least his rank certainly didn't.
"Fire can be a good thing," he murmured reassuringly. "Perhaps not for you," he added and tilted his head to the side. "But to the forest, some times it needs it," he pointed upwards and smiled. "Notice how thick and dark it is up there?" he asked quietly.
"Mhm," Zima nodded.
"Sometimes the forest needs to breathe a little, so the fire comes and asks the bravest souls to make space. It let's them continue their adventures elsewhere earlier so that the remaining don't struggle to breathe," he explained.

Yukio flushed with pride at the acknowledgement that she was successfully learning. Why her father might not have approved of the rather upfront lesson that was without sugar coating Yukio loved it. She thrived on learning new things about the world around her. After spending the majority of her early life in completely mind-numbing agony. Her days were spent focusing all of her energy on just managing to power through and accomplish simple tasks or keeping up with her mother to avoid being left behind. Yukio missed out on learning these essential life lessons, now she was struggling playing catch up she relished any help that she could get to further her education.
"They're similar to us then? Elders pass on their wisdom before they pass, that wisdom gets added onto by the next generation on their adventures, and then passed again to their children when their time is up. It's a cycle, a simple but important one." Yukio was expressing a rare moment of wisdom. Her voice softened as her tone became less excited to more awe-striken by the new found knowledge. She might act ditzy and often was brushed off as an idiot, in this moment she showing that behind her wild imagination there was a rather sharp mind at work.
She silently nodded at Havase's explanation that he could run wherever he needed to go. He seemed to know what he was doing, and she was in no place to argue which method of transportation was was more efficient.
Her head lifted upwards why at the same time tilted to one side as she thought about his words. Her eyes flicking back and forth wildly as she studied the canopy. There was a large pregnant pause between when Havase finished and Yukio quietly spoke up again. Her voice was eerily calm for the cub, in a hushed volume that was barely over a whisper. She seemed to be speaking more out loud than anything, trying to confirm her take on the lesson.
"It's like an exchange then? I...think I've seen that before, just in a different way. My auntie told me something like that before. Cause sometimes really reaaally bad storms come through her home, and they knock over trees and left a lot of damage in their path. I got really sad seeing how ruined a once beautiful place looked. But she said that it's natural, that in order for new life to exist sometimes old life must be sacrificed to make room. The old trees that had provided fruit and supplies now had served their purpose and it was their time. With them knocked down they could give one final harvest. It's not something to be sad about, but something to respect and honor." Pausing she smiled softly. "It's like the trees eating and birthing themselves. Everything takes care of it's self, doesn't it?"

Neither of them were parents, truthfully neither had given parenthood much thought. However they were both of the opinion that sometimes, one needed to learn about reality at a young age in order to prepare for when the inevitable was encountered. Havase had gone through extensive training to the point that nothing took him by surprise no matter how grim it might be... But Zima had been learning slowly but surely to park her expectations at the door.
There were just some aspects of life that weren't nice.
Yukio's father may not have appreciated the lesson but given how well the small cub was absorbing the information, Havase and Zima were both certain that there wouldn't be any lasting scars. In fact, they would have been so bold as to point out that she had responded so well to what they had said that she would be able to approach things far better. Even at this young age, there was a high chance that whatever she might see wouldn't necessarily scare her anymore... so much as put her into this contemplative state. Suffice it to say that they personally considered that to be a much more healthy reaction than horror.
"That's exactly how it is," Zima agreed finally. "The elder trees teach the saplings what to expect, they show them how to grow big and strong so that they can protect everyone underneath," she smiled. "And when the elder trees are confident that the younger saplings will be able to do the job, they finally leave to go on their next journey so that they can learn from the elders in the next world!"
Havase meanwhile, was inclined to agree with her aunt's reassurances.
"Your aunt is correct, sometimes what seems like a bad thing happens because good things will come of it," he agreed and motioned to Zima. "For example, I would never have met Zima if she hadn't lost her wings. We would never have become friends if that unfortunate event hadn't occurred," he paused.
"You seem clever enough to understand this," he praised her, warm smile still on his lips.
"Mhm, you should be very proud!"

"The next world? You mean there is a whole other world out there that we can explore!?" Oh dear, it seems that the small tidbit in Zima's agreement had sparked the little cub's excitement. "Is it like this world or is it different? Is that where all the gods, spirits, and fairies come from?!"
She nodded in agreement at Havase's words. She understood completely what he meant. If she hadn't had her visions, then she never would have had the drive to leave her mother, thus she would have never met her beloved father or any of her friends! She now understood that when one chapter in life ended it only began another. It would certainly be a valuable lesson to keep in mind and would drive her optimistic view point later in her life.
At the unexpected praise Yukio lowered her head, flustered with embarrassment. She began to nervously rub one paw on top of another, not really sure how to react to all of this. "Oh! T-thank you. And thank you for teaching me it!"
A simple thank you didn't just seem enough to her. They had been so kind and friendly towards her when they didn't have to be! Such powerful beings must have had more important things on their mind than a cub. Perhaps....hm. Her mind drifted back to when the storm hit, again her aunt urged her to make a positive out of the negative. It lead her to using some of the debris to craft a little figure to mark the occasion. Perhaps....she could do the same here!
Lifting her head back up she met the two with a warm, cheerful smile of her own. An idea on how to properly thank the two magical beings for their impromptu lesson. "Is there anyway you two can please show me around the forest?" Pausing she quickly thought up a white lie to give her reasoning to go explore further more weight. "I came out this far not only to explore but I was meaning to find some things for a project of mine! It would really help to have The Guardian and his fairy friend show me around the forest kingdom?" She remembered that these were adults and perhaps they simply had no time or better things to attend to than show one cub around so she tacked on a quick chirp, "If you don't mind and have the time, please!"

Did they have time?
Zima exchanged glances with Havase, only to be met with his usual expression. It seemed that the laid back lion had no issue with entertaining the small cub for a while longer. Neither of them had anywhere to be at this immediate juncture, if anything they were having some much needed downtime. It was easy doing the job that both gazelle and lion were currently on, and while Yukio didn't need to know what that was, they were both confident they had plenty of time to spend with her.
Either way, if Havase had to shoot off without warning to handle a certain individual then Zima could certainly keep the cub entertained for the time being. So long as Yukio didn't attempt to eat her, they'd get along swimmingly. On this occasion Gazelle were friends, not food. What Yukio chose to eat when she left the forest was entirely up to her!
"What is it that you're searching for?" Havase asked as he rose to his feet. It only became apparent that Zima and Havase were roughly the same height when he did so. Whether or not Yukio took that as Havase being very tall, or Zima very small, was entirely up to herself. Fortunately, despite her slight built Zima seemed more than capable of taking care of herself and holding her own.
"Oooh yes, what things are we looking for today?" The gazelle queried. The forest certainly had plenty of things to choose from, but whether or not it had everything was open to debate. Suffice it to say that there were some individuals who wandered through, that seemed to be looking for the most obscure stuff in the world...

Fortunately for Zima even if Yukio had been left in her presence alone she needn't worry about this cub eating her. Yukio regarded her as a friend at this point, and friends just plain don't eat friends! Besides in the cub's eyes the pale gazelle was still a magical beast. Attacking her seemed like it would be a foolish move either resulting in a early death or a horrible curse for life. Neither was something she was willing to tempt.
Now if they happened to run across her father who knew much better than the naive child that this 'fairy' was in fact food along their travels THAT would be when trouble arose. Yukio might have him wrapped around her little finger but seeing how hard he had to work to keep her filled and sated there was a likely chance he'd ignore her wishes and jump at the opportunity for a easy meal.
Yukio bit down on the bottom of her lip as she paced back and forth, her mind going to work making a quick list of the necessary items she was going to need to craft the offering of thanks she had planned for the two. "Branches, long and thin. Ones that are known to be flexible would be amazing! Leaves preferably large ones, though I can work with smaller ones, I'll just need some tree sap to glue them together. Let's see....do you two know of any shiny rocks? I need ones that sparkle in the sun." Pausing she took a large breath in the middle of her long grocery list of items before continuing at her breakneck speed once more. "OH! And vines? Do you have vines here?! It's okay if you don't, I'll just need to find bark suitable to make strips out of. Something that pulls apart easily. Perhaps a soft wood?"
Finally stopping in her wild rambling Yukio grinned up at the pair she gave a cheerful swish of her tail behind her. In her excitement she didn't even take notice of just how big Havase was compared to her. He truly was a forest giant! "It could be like a scavenger hunt! Why we're on it perhaps you can show me more of your kingdom? Like you're favorite parts of the forest. I promise not to tell anyone where they are! Ohh! Oh oh! Can I see where the faries live?" She desperately wanted to see some that still had wings to gain a good insight on the general shape and size of what she needed to recreate as well as gain some inspiration to create the best set for her new found friends.
