Titanite, of late, had been striking out more and more with the senshi and the knights. Well, she had been striking, but not at all in the manner to which she had hoped to become accustomed. The under-18s were angry little bees, swarming and stinging, and less and less of them seemed interested in a comfortable little bargain. Let Titanite take your energy, she leaves the civilians alone. Honestly, from any standpoint it was a brilliant bargain, that should theoretically have worked for just about anyone. Especially for the bleeding-heart senshi who kept on trying to attack her- which was incredibly rude, considering most of the time she was doing nothing to provoke such violence. It wasn't like she was actually murdering anyone, though should they continue to show themselves as such nasty little creatures, she was going to have to rethink the stance she had taken on them; a stance which boiled down to talk first, then punch your way out of danger. She could imagine that she was still seeing stars after the attack of that tiny little girl-senshi who had been attacking the flowerbeds. (What had happened there was a terrible accident. Not her fault, though! The girl should have thickened her skin, instead of giving into Shar's goading.) Casually stalking her way along the sidewalk by the park, the negaverse agent took a moment to pause, considering the slides and the swings. She never would come here at day- too many children- but here, at night, it was a perfect chance to take a break, maybe do some childish swinging, maybe rethink her plan of action. Or just use that as an excuse to play a child and derive some brief enjoyment from acting the fool. Starting with the merry go round, Titanite grabbed on, racing in a circle before hopping onto the nearly-frozen metal apparatus, feeling the chill blow her sea-blue hair. When was the last time she'd enjoyed such a small pleasure as this? Most of her pleasures were of a more adult nature, not so simple and meaningless.

Cadmus's distaste for Earth had grown immensely the last few days. When time permitted it, he'd stare longingly to the stars or the icon on his senshi phone willing time to pass so he could escape the blackened soil of his home planet for that of the lush canopies and barren wasteland of his asteroid. Though the only things to keep him company were the flourishing greenery and the haunts of his past life, Cadmus called it home, and would opt to live there if given the chance. Leaving his dad behind was probably the hardest item to consider of all.
Such thoughts occupied his mind now as he procrastinated during his nightly patrol; one arm rested beneath his head as the other held up his senshi phone. The light of the device illuminated his freckled complexion, eyebrows furrowed on the app that, in two weeks time, would take him home once again. The wait was absolutely dreadful.
Unfortunately, Cadmus wouldn't remain hypnotized by yearning for long, as a familiarly unfamiliar feeling welled up within him, and drew his attention from atop the jungle gym to slightly beyond it. Rising, his eyebrows furrowed at the... peculiar sight before him. A Negaverse agent was... playing on the merry-go-round? Part of the teen would've found it endearing if, y'know, it wasn't a grown woman having fun. He was fourteen and probably more of an adult than her. Actually, he was positive of it! He was definitely an adult!
And an adult would take care of this properly.
"Hey, lady, what'dya think you're doing?" he barked at Titanite as he stood tall from the jungle gym. "Aren't you a little old to be acting like a kid?"

The signature was familiar- not so familiar that she could pick out who it was, but WHAT it was was fairly obvious. A senshi, coming to play with her. Or, perhaps, not play, and be a grumpy bump instead. “Listen, little girl!” she hollered back mockingly, merry go round swinging her in a circle, easily mistaking youth, gender, and whatever else she could- “I think I am taking advantage of the fact there were supposed to be no children out after curfew to play on the merry go round like an adult.” She couldn't focus her eyes, which, altogether... wasn't a bad thing. It kept her from being able to see she was mocking a little child. Not that it might have stopped her, as the child was acting far, far too grown-up for its own good. “What do you think you are doing?” she called accusingly. “Over there on the jungle gym, acting like you are the-” Titanite squinted into the darkness. “ Ruler. You are not the ruler. You are not the mayor.” Titanite wobbled off the toy as it came to a shuddering halt. She had been drunker than this and been able to walk, why was she so off-kilter here?! “Do not you think you are the one who is too old to be climbing up there? You are going to break it.” was Titanite accusing the person she could not see of being fat? Why yes, she most certainly was. Titanite was 25 years old, she could do what she wanted.

Something was decidedly off about this whole situation, and Cadmus found himself at a crossroads on how to approach it. Should he laugh? Surely there was something comical in the way the Negaverse agent teetered on her feet. But his gut was rolling with a desire to snap at her; namely for the fact he was mostly certainly not a child and being mistaken for one was a great insult; never mind the other stuff.
Still, when Titanite pressed the matter of him remaining on the jungle gym, Cadmus was reluctant to leave it. Admitting that it brought him closer to the sky was not something he was going to say, but giving in and jumping down felt foolish. Certainly not a way to go about doing... whatever this was. A fight? A standoff? Just two people shouting at each other?
Eventually, his heroic side won out and he descended from the jungle gym with a light click of his heel to the ground below. Glaring at the older woman now with hands to hips, Cadmus said, "Well, whatever. Just leave before I really show you something to be sorry about, you old hag."

She blinked at the reddish creature that descended from its lofty jungle-perch, drawing herself up to her full 6 feet and staring down an aquiline nose. "No. I will not leave. You, perhaps, should be the one to leave. This is, last I checked, a public park for all residents of Destiny City. Even little children out past their bedtimes." With intent, Titanite began to make her way to the next object of interest. The swing set. Unoderi Short but.... Hurp. NOT MUCH ELSE TO SAY ABOUT THAT.

Cadmus braced himself, expecting something—a fist to the face, a knee to gut—but... nothing. He suddenly felt like an annoyance; a zit on the side of her nose not worth the time of day. Such insolence was infuriating.
"H-hey, w-where are you going...?" he squawked when Titanite walked passed him. Confusing her beeline to the swing set as an escape, the senshi's hands reacted before his mind did, and he clapped his hands together and thrust them out in the agent's direction. Suddenly, an avalanche of cranberries shot out from his hands to her, and it was only after the attack was complete did Cadmus chagrin.
"Oh... oh crap."
Infinities totally understandable lol

"I am going to-" Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. Plop. What the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu- Titanite gave a small scream as the wave of cranberries bounced into her back, flying past her, and knocking her off-balance so that she landed in the snow, whereupon the cranberries flattened her, and then- how many cranberries- what was happening? She wailed and flailed. "You suck!" the senshi would hear, as she tried to scramble to her feet amid the distracting wave of fruit. She needed- to get back to her feet. She needed to punch him. Her glare was baleful, to say the least, and once she had a moment, she cracked her knuckles. Un0deri I would say drown her in berries.

He couldn't help but agree; he did suck, this situation sucked, everything sucked. Cadmus wanted to yell it to the heavens, but kinda just squawked and flashed his palms at Titanite as if surrendering.
"D-don't come any closer!" he cried out as fear jumped a vein in neck with each crack of her knuckles. "I d-didn't mean that, but, like, I-I'm not against doing it again!"
Unfortunately, he only had one more use of his stronger attack, and he didn't want to waste it so haphazardly like before. Timing was the key, but... sweet deity in those heavens he was going to get the pulp beaten from him in -2 seconds.
Infinities i can't sleep, so short reply for youuuu~

From an outside perspective, Titanite would later decide they probably looked like a grand pair of idiots flailing in the snow. She would then decide that the outside perspective was not wrong. But from the inside perspective, the now, Titanite was seeing red, and it wasn't with anger. It was with cranberries. "I am going to come closer," she assured him, irritation clear in her thickly accented voice. " I am going to kick your a**." Taking a moment, Titanite breathed in deep, considering for a moment, then- naw. "How old are you?" she inquired in a low purr. This was an important question. She was going to hit him one time for every year.... and the one to grow on.

Unfortunately, Cadmus was at that age when talking back warranted it. Now seemed like a great opportunity to say something smart, but this Nega seemed like the type of woman who would peel his lips off and then feed them back to him.
Saying anything at this point would certainly mean his death.
The senshi tentatively took a step back, mushing snow and cranberries underfoot as red eyes sought out an escape route. Of course, just running blindly had its advantageous as well, but what if he were caught? Refer to lip removal several sentences ago.
Gulping thickly, Cadmus said, "I, uh, old... enough?"

Titanite rolled her shoulders, and then stalked forward. "You do not look over 18, but as you did not give me an age, I am going to hit you as though you were." This would have been a great time to have an actual weapon. Maybe a jump rope, with which she could trip him, and then beat him with the handles until he cried. "I asked you your age." she repeated, and gauged the distance. Her hands clenched, and she dropped her shoulders, and then closed the distance, using a sweeping kick to try and get his legs out from under him. "You. BERRIED. ME."

s**t, I shoulda just said I was fourteen...!
Unfortunately, Cadmus wasn't quick on the uptake and was overcome by Titanite's legs; landing flat on his back hard enough to push the wind from his chest. He only barely became aware of the vulnerable position he was in, sprawled out like a sacrifice to the agent, before he decided to act.
"Yea, well, I'm... I'm gonna berry you again!" he cried, using the close proximity to his advantage. Clapping his hands together, Cadmus fired one more concentrated avalanche of berries.
Right at Titanite's face.

He sprawled out, and the kickboxer took advantage of the position to - try and kick him. Horrible little- I'm gonna berry you again!Titanite hadn't killed someone in years. Not since she had the opportunity to take energy instead of lives. But as the cranberries flew into her face, getting in her mouth, up her nose, probably going to blacken her eyes- She could have screamed, but then she would choke on berries and die. What American hell was this? Instead of backing up, however- she dropped her body into the snow, somewhere near the senshi, hopefully, and kicked out, hoping for contact. Her face.

Chance!
For the first time in his life, Cadmus was a little thankful for his sphere and powers, despite how stupid he still thought cranberries as a source was. The wild kick from the Negaverse agent stumbled him, as did slipping in the pulpy snow surrounding the two, but the teen only had one objective in mind: Get the hell out of there, and fast.
Cadmus didn't even have time for a witty remark; he simply gave one glance at Titanite over her shoulder before hustling. He took a bounding leap over to the jungle gym, another from the sidewalk, and he was gone.
Infinities cadmus is probably gonna keep running for this life, so if you wanna end this is a post or two, i'm game!

She didn't think she made contact, and she wasn't sure if she cared. Cranberries. So many cranberries. If she ever saw another again it would be too soon. Honestly, Titanite could hardly care that the young senshi was escaping at this point; for all she could cheerfully slaughter him, she'd rather he just- went away. Titanite could already imagine her face swelling with berry impact, and she just- she just let it happen, burying her face in the snow as he fled. At least there was no one to bear witness to her shame. Probably.
