It was just over a year since he had become a knight, since he had joined this crazy war, and it was coming up on dating Terry for a year. So much had happened in the short amount of time, it still surprised him how many things had happened. The year had it’s ups and it’s downs but on a whole, looking back on it, it was more good than bad. He could only hope 2017 would be as good, if not better, than 2016.
Smiling he pressed his nose, hiding his smiling face, into the scarf he had wound about his neck and tucked into his coat so nothing got in around it. The group he was with was small, really small, but intimate and close as it consisted of his two cousins and Terry. They’d gone out for dinner together and were now headed toward the downtown Destiny City area where the big ringing in of the New Year would be happening. It wasn’t like New York Cities, which was famous all around the world, but it was supposed to be big and bright with lots of fireworks.
Stomach full of nice warm food, and very little to drink in the way of soju (Terry was not about to let him drink much, even tonight), and Seung was content to walk with three of the most important people in his life. Looking from one cousin to the other than to Terry, who’s arm was intertwined with one of his own, and he felt like he belonged and this - this was a beautiful moment in his life.

After Seung’s younger sister, her younger cousin, had gone back to Korea she had felt a bit...alone. That was made worse when Seung had been kicked out, though she was glad he had moved in with his partner, but now she had Hyeon living with her and Seung’s parents and she was happy for it. She had more family here - more people with shared interests. The year had gotten better after the dip it had taken when her little cousin had gone home. She just hoped it continued as it was and that more good came to herself and her family, especially when they rang in the Lunar New Year near the end of January.
Walking between her elder cousins she couldn’t help the soft smile which graced her delicate features. The walk downtown was a bit long but she didn’t mind, in part due to the thick coat and sweater she was wearing to keep warm, as she got to spend the time with family. Talking and laughing the group of four had gotten close recently since Hyeon had arrived in Destiny city, not that the cousins hadn’t already been close or Terry and Seung. But it had all sort of combined.
“I still wonder where all those bunnies went. It was like they were suddenly here and then just...gone. I’ve tried to find anything out about them that I could online...nothing. No one seems to know.” It puzzled her and she didn’t like that, she didn’t like the lack of answers. Something was...off about it all and Seung seemed to have some clue but what clue she didn’t know. She also, like Seung, didn’t notice a shadow following them.

“I guess that will remain a mystery unless they come back and more clues are found.” Hyeon said, looking over at Eunkyung then giving a shrug. While he still felt terribly lonely and that he was missing some important parts of his life thanks to the separation with his bandmates, being able to spend time with his little cousins and Terry were making it much more bearable, something that he would be forever grateful for. His eyes flitted away from Eunkyung over to Seung and Terry, giving a pleased look to them briefly at seeing his cousin happy, then looked around the area they were walking.
He still hadn’t had much time to explore around the city besides a few outings he had gone on with his cousins, nor had he actually met anyone outside of the small group beyond Terry’s family briefly. On one hand it let him relax and get used to being in a new country, on the other hand he was used to being much more social which meant that it wouldn’t be long before he started going out and trying to meet people on his own more than likely. Their follower didn’t even register to him since he didn’t fully know about the danger of the city and he wasn’t expecting anyone to recognize him here in America so he shouldn’t have any stalkers.

Terry spent most of the time they had been out as a group cuddled up to Seung in some form or fashion so he wasn’t surprised at all when Seung had linked arms when they all started their walk, just happy about it. Of course he tried to still split his attention evenly with the others since that had nothing to do with cuddling. “It’s only been this past year that mysterious animals have shown up and disappeared and I couldn’t tell you why they happened since no one seems to know.” He added. He still hadn’t gotten around to asking any of the Mau’s if they had any information on either the bat’s or bunnies but he somehow doubt they did since that seems like information that would have gotten around. “I’m just glad they didn’t stick around. The effects they had were not fun in the least.” Like the other three, he didn’t notice their shadow.

“I would say I’d like to see them return, for that reason, but they caused a lot of suffering for people.” She said softly, looking toward Terry as she said this. He had been bitten and suffered from that terrible cold, she felt bad when she had heard about it. Going so far as to make soup and bring it to him. She had made chicken soup for Terry in the hopes it might help warm him up, or at least make him feel better. It had failed in helping him, aside from filling his stomach with a good meal.
She knew, unlike Hyeon, that the city was dangerous she just didn’t know as much as her other cousin or his partner did. Had she known she might be looking around for things, she might have seen the sneaky shadow lurking about behind them. She didn’t see it though and didn’t notice when it freed itself from the nonliving shadows it had hidden around and within.
“I’m sure those bats are not normal. The size and way they behaved.” She said shaking her head. She had been there, as had Seung, and that was nothing normal - she was sure of it. She had checked all around online, spent countless hours looking things up. It was not right and it didn’t sit well with her.

At the mention of the rabbits, or rather the cold they spread, he clung a bit tighter to Terry’s arm and rubbed his cheek to the others gently. He had worried about him, spent the whole time with Terry trying to lend him whatever body heat he could. He also was sure he sweat off a few pounds under all those blankets Terry had piled over their bodies. If he hadn’t shed some weight he’d be surprised, but he hadn’t weighed himself.
His cousins chicken soup had been received warmly, and with the hope it might help even though he knew it wouldn’t. He had still hoped, even if only a tiny bit. Those few days had been...agony seeing the other suffer and not being able to help...he had felt more helpless than then he had in a very long time….since the end of high school.
“Wish someone had caught rabbit or bat - find out about them. None normal..no animal can make so cold.” He was sure there was more to it, magic behind it of some kind, he hadn’t heard of anyone catching either a bat or a rabbit though. He wished someone had. “Hope no more animals like that...or plants.” Thinking of the other incident this winter. It seemed nothing was safe for sure, this city was dangerous...everything about it was.
While he didn’t notice the shadow he certainly heard it as it closed in on their group and called out in some trumpeting like sound. Startled by the loud blasting sound he jumped, his hold tightening on the other, and turned around so quick he almost lost his balance. “N-no.” Not now...not here and not with family with them. This wasn’t good - this wasn’t what he wanted. He didn’t want them to know this...didn’t want them to worry about him, and Terry, because of them being knights.

Terry gave Eunkyung a smile in thanks at the look she gave him, as well as leaning into Seung more at the nuzzle. The cold from the bunny had been horrible and he didn’t wish it on anyone so he couldn’t help but been slightly happy that no one caught any simply because they would have likely gotten bit as well. He appreciated what his family, Seung, and Eunkyung did to try and help him get over the effects even if they had to just disappear on their own in the end. Once he had been better he had been sure to take Seung and Eunkyung to dinner and a movie as thanks for their support, though after that he had made a more personal thank you to Seung. “I agree that there was nothing normal about them. Some people theorized that they were escaped animals that had been experimented on but I doubt it.”
Any thoughts about the different, most likely magical, fauna and flora that ran about this past year was cut off at the trumpeting sound. Seung’s movements threw his balance off a bit as well as they both turned to look at the youma that had let the sound loose. He paled a bit at the thought of having to transform in front of Seung’s cousin’s and having to explain what was going on but got a steely look in his eyes. He wouldn’t let anything happen to any of them so if he had to transform then so be it.

Hyeon listened as the other’s discussed, not having much to say other than what he had already on the topic since he had only been in America for the bunnies and hadn’t actually met Terry until after he had gotten better from the bite. The descriptions his cousin’s had given of what happened had painted a clear picture of it though and he was glad he never once saw one of the bunnies, nor had been here for the bats.
The unexpected sound from behind them almost made him trip over his feet but his long years of dancing had him turning the trip into a graceful spin around so he could take in what ever could have made the noise. At first he had expected some kind of elephant that had maybe escaped from a zoo, it had happened in a show he had watched once, but it didn’t turn out to be anything like one. Instead there was a tall woman standing there and attached to her left hand was a trumpet while a sinister grin stretched across her face. “W-what…?!” He took a step bad out of surprise.

Experimented animals? She doubted that, it made no sense. How do you give what she could only call magical powers to a bunny rabbit? To give it a bite that made people cold for days! It seemed impossible to genetically mess with an animal that much, though she knew venoms might be able to be messed with...and a sheep could give spiders web silk in it’s milk. But the idea of rabbits biting and making people cold was..beyond that.
The sound which broke her from her train of thought, kept her from laughing and saying what had been on her mind, had her turning and watching her cousin and his partner and then watching the...the thing coming toward them.
“What is that…?” Something was wrong about it, aside from it not having a normal skin tone or hair color...or anything else. It wasn’t human, she knew that. Moving toward her eldest cousin she gripped at his arm. “Oppa…” Staring up at him with wide eyes, scared, as she clung to him.

While he had nearly tripped, or somehow landed, Terry onto the ground he was already jumping into things. He may not want to power up but he would. While Terry might think or hesitate Seung was, predictably, powering up already and preparing to do whatever he could. He had no magic, unlike his partner, but the extra boost in speed and strength did help. “Eunkyung, Hyeon-hyung...keep back.” Already powered up, and freezing in the damn uniform, he was moving forward. Mirror like eyes glancing over to Terry.
“You get one side...I get other?” He asked, hoping they could handle this together and finish it fast. He didn’t want to risk it coming for his cousins. While it was likely to only drain their energy he was protective over both his family members, and Terry who he didn’t want to see injured by the youma. If they went for it’s right and left side they could hopefully limit it’s escapes and mobility and handle it fast.

Hyeon stared at the strange woman with wides eyes then tucked Eunkyung close to his side and partially behind him. “I-I don’t know. Just stay close Eunkyung-ah and get ready to run if we need to.” He was going to address Seung and Terry next but was left speechless as his cousin suddenly was in a different outfit and was actually running towards the strange woman while calling out to Terry. “Seung what are you doing?!” He took a step forward as his heart seemed to leap into his throat out of fear for Seung but Eunkyung’s grip kept him from doing anything else. So fixated as he was with the scene in front of him that he missed a small cylinder item appearing next to him on the side opposite of his cousin.
Quote:
When Seung transformed it made Terry do the same a moment later out of reflex and his feet were already on the move before Venice finished his sentence of attack positions. “Got it! Attack when in position then!” He called out as he dashed to the opposite side of Venice, gripping his oar at the ready. The youma was not idle during this however and brought her arm that had the trumpet attached up and blasted a sound that clearly gave the impression of a charge, then proceeded to do so, running at Venice with a cackle. “Not so fast!” Erebus said as he leapt at her and have a swing of his oar to get her attention to him rather then the Page.

If Hyeon was stunned she was beyond that, and there was no word for it, gaping like a goldfish her mouth opened and closed several times before snapping shut. What had just...magic? It wasn’t possible - it simply wasn’t! But as she clung to her elder cousin she watched Seung run toward some shadow like woman - again not possible!
Watching Terry and Seung head for it, together like some team, she felt herself leaning heavily into Hyeon’s side and press her face into his arm as she tried to not watch...for fear of something bad happening. “A-are they ok?” She whispered against her elders arm. She was, like him, unaware of the item which had appeared but that was because she had no way of seeing it. It wasn’t meant for her to see.

Hearing the blast of sound again he saw it charging him and prepared for it. Bracing himself he brought one arm up to cover himself, to protect his face, before he summoned his weapon to his other hand. He still did not see a feather duster as a weapon but it was the best he had, and he’d make due. He brought the item up intending to strike the youma but it seemed Terry was on the case as well.
The youma was close though, real close, and his weapon hit the youma and he heard what had to be Erebus’ ore smack into it also. He heard the youma’s cry of pain and he heard himself as claws raked across his cheek, under the arm he had up for protection.

Hyeon wasn’t sure how to answer Eunkyung’s question for a heartbeat since while the fighting had only just started he didn’t know if they were ok with even fighting though they looked like they had experiance with it. He did open his mouth to say they were physically fine but froze in horror as Seung got slashed in the face from the woman. Time seemed to stand still for him as he watched the creature woman’s clawed hand come away with blood, even if it wasn’t necessarily much it was still Seung’s blood! He didn’t even notice as he moved away from Eunkyung, somehow managed to slip out of her grasp in his daze, and started to run towards Seung in an instinctive move to pull his younger cousin out of the fight. By the time he got to his cousin’s side to check on him the woman was distracted by Terry and Hyeon had somehow managed to get a dojang in his hand and a costume change, not that he paid that any mind. “Are you alright? Where did she hit you? How bad is it?” He asked as he accosted Seung to check his face.
Quote:
Erebus was thankful that his hit against the youma had stopped it from actually doing more than one swipe of her claws to Venice but one had still been one to many is his opinion. With a scowl on his face he kicked her away from his boyfriend and then made a follow up hit with his oar to make her go even farther, though he did make sure she wasn’t in the direction of Eunkyung nor the running Hyeon. When the youma hit the ground several feet away he dashed over to keep her occupied and away from the civilians and ended up blocking a kick himself. He felt it when one of Seung’s family behind him powered up but couldn’t tell who it was not was he completely sure it was one of them since it could have just been a passing Knight who saw the trouble, but didn’t turn around to double check.
Quote:
He wasn’t surprised by his elder cousin turning up at his side. He was however surprised by the aura he felt, even more so when he turned his eyes onto the other. Blood dripped and dribbled down his cheek and to his chin where it landed on his clothing and the ground below.
“I’m fine, I’ve had worse.” Already, without thought, he had shifted in language to the more familiar, the one they shared. Turning his eyes onto the other, and inadvertently showing the claw marks that ran across his cheek. He also got to see Hyeon and it was not what he was expecting. “Knight…” It wasn’t something he wanted to see, like a nightmare come true. His cousin was...a knight - was part of the war. “You can’t be…” He was but he didn’t want him to be. “Stay here, please.” Turning he made to hurry in to help Erebus. “We’ll talk when this is done.” They’d have to, there was no other choice.

Just what was going on? First her cousin and his boyfriend and now her other cousin, only they all looked different, but something had happened to them all and one of her cousins was hurt or at least she assumed as much. Her cousin's boyfriend was off beating something with an ore...and Hyeon was doing what he did best, at least when one of them was hurt, mothering them. It was a wonder he hadn’t been the mother hen of his band.
“Hyeon-oppa!” Calling out to him. She didn’t know what was going on and just standing here didn’t feel very good nor very safe. Actually this whole situation didn’t feel safe. Someone was going to explain things to her later - everything!

Hyeon stared in dismay at the dripping wound on his cousin’s face and started to reach out to wipe it off to get a clearer look at the gashes only to pause mid air in surprise at seeing he now had blue gloves on when before he hadn’t been wearing any. He blinked but pushed it from his mind quickly to look back at his hurt cousin when he spoke up. What about night? He couldn’t be talking about it being night time in the middle of this could he? It made even less sense when Seung denied that he could be something so Hyeon had a mix of concerned and confused look on his face before long.
“What do you mean stay here?! I’m not going to let you go and fight that without more help! You already got hurt once!” He said when his younger cousin gave him the order to stay. Just because Seung’s boyfriend seemed to have things mostly in hand for the moment didn’t mean he wanted his cousin to jump back into the fray without a third supporter even if he wasn’t sure if he could do much besides distract the woman. But before he could follow Seung as he ran over to help Terry, Hyeon heard Eunkyung yell out and he turned to look at her and make sure she wasn’t hurt.

By the time Venice joined Erebus in the fight again, the Squire had activated his magic to make sure the youma was even farther distracted. When he caught a glimpse of his boyfriend coming up he was quick to call out to him, “Stay out of the ripples!” as he dodged a swipe of the youma’s claws. His dodge brought him farther away from the youma so that it was closer to the edge of the ripples, still well within oar striking range but also making it easier for Venice to attack without feeling the life draining sensation. Once he had planted his feet he twirled his oar in an underswing to hit the youma woman.
Quote:
“Makes things harder, can’t get in to hit.” He stated looking at the ripples and making sure to avoid them. He knew what Erebus’ magic did and would like to avoid it - thank you very much. But it also meant he couldn’t get in close to strike down the youma. All he could do was throw his feather duster at it’s head, which he did. Throwing it with whatever force he could.
“Hyeon-hyung….a page.” He said glancing toward his partner. Dark mirror like eyes worried and nervous, concerned. He didn’t like the fact his elder cousin was a knight or that he had awakened. He didn’t want his family involved in this war, unlike Terry who didn’t mind that his elder brother was involved in this now.
When Erebus moved and he was able to get in close to the youna he did just that. Reaching out as best he could to kick at the youma. At least they could work together to take it down. His cousin also wasn’t getting involved, which was good.

She wasn’t hurt, nothing was around to hurt her, but that didn’t mean she felt safe and that she wasn’t confused beyond reason. To see clothing changing and an ore and a feather duster and then that women...thing...something. She was confused and scared and really wanted one of her elder cousins, as well as some explanations and information.
“Oppa is ok?” She called out to Hyeon, asking if he was ok or if Seung was ok...maybe she was asking about them both?

“Sorry, I thought it would be a good way to keep it focused on me as well as weakening it.” He said with a quick grin. The magic didn’t do anything lasting but it certainly helped while he was channeling it. Thankfully it did seem like his movement made it so Venice could fight without getting into the reaches of his ripples so he would just have to make sure to keep this distance. “Think about it after the fight, nothing you can do about it now.” He said soothingly the best he could as he dodged a wild flail of the youma. When Matt had awakened into a Page he had been happy to have another person to talk to about it, though he wasn’t happy the danger the other was in he understood it was Matt’s choice if he wanted to power up or not.
His latest swing brought the youma to the ground, half out of his ripples but half in and that still counted for the magic. “One or two more good hits should do it!” He said as he brought the oar down to hit the youma hard.

Hyeon glanced between one younger cousin to the other but did semi-reluctantly return to Eunkyung’s side when it was clear that Seung and Terry had things in hand. “He will be fine. We will need to clean and bandage his face soon but it’s not anything serious.” He soothed when he was close enough to give her a hug. He didn’t answer for himself though since he wasn’t sure in that aspect. He was suddenly in different clothes, Seung and his boyfriend were fighting some kind of monster woman, he had some weird feelings, or senses he wasn’t sure which, going on as well. Needless to say he was confused, worried, and more than a little freaked out but he wasn’t going to show that or even say that to his cousin when she was just as emotional. “Hopefully this will all be over soon and we can get some answers.” He said and looked over to the fight.
Quote:
“It’s ok - magic helped.” He said flashing a smile to his partner as he kicked out again at the youma, his legs having the better reach. “Will have to do much thinking and talk...explain things.” He said, not that Terry wouldn’t expect that to happen. It hadn’t been too long ago that it had happened with Terry and Matt where Terry had to explain things to his elder brother. He’d figure it out after this...he doubted they’d spend new years as they’d intended to - not after this.
He wanted, for a moment, to mourn the loss of a normal night out but now wasn’t the time. Now was the time to wipe the blood from his face, it really was getting sticky and still dripping in some spots. With the youma half out of Terry’s pool of magic he went over and brought up his foot before bringing it down onto the youma’s head. Perhaps it was his upset over a ruined night but he didn’t much care about stomping on the youma as he did, it didn’t help that it wasn’t human.

“You all look like the terrorists they show on tv - on the news.” She said leaning into her elder cousin. She knew what they looked like but she also knew all three so knew they were no such thing. They would have their answers- she would have answers but not just yet. She needed to wait, and she would, she would wait as long as she had to so long as she knew she’d get her answers.
Grasping her cousin's arm she held onto him and watched the other two, surprised by Seung’s actions against the monster. “I really hope they are ok.” She would help, if she could, in bandaging Seung’s face but where could they go after this?

“Well on the bright side, it’s one less secret you have to keep from them?” Erebus suggested. “And also we aren’t completely new at this so at least they will get a good explanation and information needed.” He watched as the youma exploded into dust between Seung’s stomp and his oar and let his magic go the instant it did so there wouldn’t be any accidently brushes with it. He didn’t let go of his transformation though as he moved over to cup Venice’s face to look at the wound the youma had given him. “Are you alright?” He asked as he brushed the blood away carefully, uncaring that it got on his gloves and hands, it wouldn’t be there when he powered down anyway.

“Terrorists?” Hyeon asked, wanting more clarification. He had heard of something about terrorists in the city but hadn’t honestly been paying much attention to it in the time he had been here. An outfit change didn’t make him a terrorist did it? That wouldn’t make much sense at all. He held back a gasp as Seung and Terry gave the creature another hit then it turned into dust, just one more thing that needed explaining, and stood there for a moment in surprise that it was over. “I hope so too. It looks like this fight is done so let’s rejoin them and get some answers.” He said as he shook the surprise away the best he could and gave Eunkyung a somewhat shaky smile.
Quote:
“Yes...but do not want them to worry or be involved.” Seung responded back before nodding his head. That last part was true, though he wished he knew more. He knew Eunkyung would want to know everything possible, and then some, it was just how she was. He couldn’t feed that thirst for knowledge though and he knew it, he didn’t know enough to do that this time. There were no books, no websites, no other sources of information for her either. Just himself and Erebus.
Leaning into the other's touch, sighing softly, he let his eyelids drift downward to half mast. “I’m fine. Don’t like this - that they saw.” Other than that he was fine. The injury was nothing really, it stung - yeah but it was done bleeding and that was good. “Should go home...order food maybe?” Since it looked like it would be a long night of explaining things. This was going to be a long night and if they could keep it down, and eat without making much noise, they should be able to stay in the kitchen or even the living room of Terry’s home and talk and eat. The food would serve as a nice way of distracting things, or dropping or changing topics, and that was the main reason behind that suggestion.

“This city is a hot bed for it. Seung-oppa was attacked by bats around Halloween...and other bad things have happened. People attacking others in the city - it’s not safe here.” But so far she hadn’t been attacked, aside from the bats, unlike her cousin it seemed. After all he seemed to know just what he was doing and his clothing suggested it also, though what his involvement was she didn’t know. She was worried for her elder cousin seeming him like this, and now Hyeon-oppa also.
Nodding her head she held onto the lders arm as she headed toward the other two, slowly. “Seung-oppa, Terry?” She questioned gently. “What’s going on and why does Hyeon-oppa look like this now too?”

“Sometimes you can’t help these things. He was born to be a Knight just as you were, and maybe with more information Eunkyung will be safer.” Erebus said then pressed a soft kiss to the other man’s lips. “I know you don’t like it but we all must take the hand that life has dealt us and make the most of it.” He was glad that Venice was fine and gave a smile, though it was always heart pulling to see him hurt even just a little bit. “Well, we could technically ask them to put off the really in depth explanation and go see the fireworks still if you want.” While he was mostly joking, there was still a small part of him that was serious with those words, a way to help Seung push things off a little bit longer if he needed it and his cousins allowed it.
Quote:
“Bats had something to do with terrorism?” Hyeon asked, now feeling even more lost as Eunkyung explained just how dangerous the city really was. It wouldn’t have changed his mind about moving here in the first place since his family was here but it would have made him more worried for them if he had known this information earlier. Not that it still didn’t make him worry for them now since it did. He walked with Eunkyung over to the still strangely dressed Seung and Terry as he took everything in. “Did either of you get hurt beyond the wound to Seung-yah’s face?” Was what he ended up asking first since his other cousin had asked the other two questions the were vying for first place in the many that keep popping up in his mind.

“Wonder if descended like me or not…” He trailed off. Turning his head to press his lips to the palm of Terry’s hand, the one touching his cheek, and nosed at the soft skin. “I know, do not like though.” He said leaning in for a gentle brushing of lips before drawing back. “Will not work - not Eunkyung. She likes answers - to know it all.” And she would want the answers as soon as possible, he knew his younger cousin well. “Will order us dinner...what do you want?” He asked before taking a moment to look back to his two cousins, wishing he could put this off but knowing he couldn’t. If he could just stay here even, with Erebus, it would be better than dealing with his elder cousin who would worry about him, and his younger cousin who would ask everything imaginable and then some.

“No...but not normal bats. Too big and acted different...they worked together...in a planned manner. You’d have to see the footage of it to understand.” She answered from Hyeon’s side. Keeping her dark eyes from the couple, wanting to give them some manner of privacy. “I’ll find the video online later.” Letting Hyeon ask about Seung’s health, while she was busy looking him over, she took the time to look over everything the two wore...then turned to look over Hyeon properly.
Quote:
“”We’re ok.” He spoke up gently, speaking for himself and Terry. “We will explain..but home.” He whispered before powering down so he was back in his normal clothing, nice and bundled up against the cold harsh winter weather. “We should go...Erebus...please.” Wanting the other to power down. “Hyeon-hyung...think of being...back in your normal clothing.” He spoke gently in Korean to his elder cousin. “Just picture it changing, from this to that, it’ll happen.”

“I guess we will have to wait and find out when he goes to his Wonder.” Erebus said, curious himself. Matt was a descendant, which technically made him one as well to that Knight, but he was in truth a reincarnated. Both had many differences in how information is passed on to the Knight and it was always interesting to find out who was what. At Venice’s comment about Eunkyung being a know it all he gave a chuckle. “So she’s Hermione?” He asked lowly with an amused look to try and lighten his boyfriend’s mood a bit. “Let’s wait to think on that until after we get the first round of questions done.” After all he was pretty sure food wasn’t something Seung’s cousins would let him distract them with right at this second. When Seung pleaded to go home, Erebus pressed a kiss to his non injured cheek and powered down. “We can start walking once everyone is powered down.”

Hyeon would definitely want to look at the footage when he had the chance but not now, like Eunkyung said there would be time for it later. “Thank you.” He nodded to her then looked over at Seung when he spoke to them. “Are you sure? The wound bled quite a bit didn’t it?” He asked, not adding on about the explanations since it probably wouldn’t be a good idea to have them here where they already had been attacked once anyway. It was both weird and fascinating to see his cousin suddenly go from something not very weather appropriate back to his normal clothes, both feelings of which were doubled when Terry did the same and Seung tried to explain how he could do it. “Just imagine? How does that even work?” He asked, blinking in surprise. How could one just change their attire by simply thinking about it? He hadn’t thought about it to change in the first place but hopefully there would be an explanation for that later. With a confused look to Seung he tried to imagine himself back in what he had been wearing before then looked down to find it had happened.

Either way it meant his wonder, his ancestor, was connected to whatever was up on Polaris waiting for his cousin. It meant he was descended from that as well...well likely anyway, depending on which side of the line it came down to his cousin on. It was still likely though. “Yes, Eunkyung wants know everything and find it all out.” He said nodding his head, a smile tugging at his lips at the thought of comparing her to Hermione from the Harry Potter series. It was rather fitting, which he hadn’t thought about till now.
“Can handle it, have had worse.” Not a lot worse but he had indeed dealt with worse. He’d handle it later and get it cleaned up, it wasn’t likely he’d need stitches...at least he hoped not. “Imagination Hyeon-hyung.” He responded in Korean to the elder, adding in an eye roll for good measure. “It’s not hard, it is easy, at least after the first time or two.” Watching as his cousin seemed to take his advice, and power down, he nodded his head.
“Talk at home.” And food, food would help and distract people as needed.

She hadn’t, thankfully, heard the comment about her being Hermione but she did heard what Seung told Hyeon on how to change cloths. That was...very interesting, and she did doubt it. But she figured if Seung was saying it that it worked, he had no reason to lie, and she stood there watching as her eldest cousin did like the other and stood soon in normal clothing - just like the other two.
“Yes, home and we talk there. I have a lot of questions...and you’ve been keeping secrets.” She stated, pointing a finger at Seung. She was, obviously, not pleased with that and she would find out whatever she could from him. He wasn’t going to get away with keeping secrets from her again, not about something this important.

Terry hid a smile and a chuckle at Seung’s sass but otherwise didn’t comment any more, letting the cousins have the floor for now. It wasn’t like he was really needed at this point when they already had decided to go ahead and make their way home to talk.

“How much worse?” Hyeon asked with narrowed eyes, trying not to think about just what might have been worse that his cousin had to deal with. Just what had his cousin got himself into anyway that injuries were normal? “I’m sure you believed that simple imagination could change your clothes immediately dear cousin?” He asked in a sweet voice in response to the eye roll. He looked between his cousins and nodded his head in agreement. “Alright then let us leave so we can finally get these questions answered.”
Quote:
“Not much, have had few more injuries. Not much worse.” He said with a bit of a shrug. His elder cousin was going to mother him - he knew. He also knew Hyeon would now, knowing what he did and would soon enough, that he would be watched over carefully by his elder cousin. This wasn’t what he needed, or wanted.
“Figured it out on my own, I had no one the first time.” He said simply, and honestly. He’d been too busy to think and worked up and needed to change and had just thought about his normal clothing, not wanting to get caught in the uniform he’d wound up in - crazy as it was. “I was alone for a little while before I met others, especially Terry...or Erebus when he’s well...like before.” He said while glancing about. Time to get headed back home. He’d call for take out food to be delivered when they got closer, hopefully he could time it right.
