 Leilani headed into the bar, ready to get some shots of the dancers. She wanted to showcase the island she loved. "I can't wait for the party to get started here! She stretched. Although she couldn't have any alcoholic drinks, there were a few she could still have. Like 'Otai. Those were her favorite.

Aluna Kelekolio The store matron was finishing setting the tables and making sure the place was prefect for went guest arrived. She already had her cooks prepping in the kitchen. The woman shook her hips in time with the music. She was practicing in her mind the songs for tonight's dancing.

Aluna Kelekolio Aluna turned and posed for the camera. She even did a couple of more sexy poses for those who liked them. "I could use all the media attention I can get. I want this place to be the pride of the dance culture here." She commented as she went back to work on cleaning at table.

Aluna Kelekolio Aluna smiled. "Thanks, but I'm ahead of schedule. I just need an audience." The woman responded and finished cleaning. "Are you hungry, do you want something to drink?" The woman asked and offered her a meal.

She didn't want to take his time away from the beach but she needed to get this job. From what she read about this place, she knows that the owner is looking to hire dancers. 'Aulani knows that she is a talented dancer so it shouldn't be too hard to get the job. Upon parking the truck in front of Blue Moon Dance and Bar Company, she exited the truck and waited for Jiron to come out of the truck. He may think that he is a big boy but she is still not leaving him alone and if anyone in this establishment complains about a small boy being there, they will receive a mouthful from her, which meant that she would be asking Jiron to cover his ears in case she ends up speaking foul words that he shouldn't hear. Once she was inside the bar with her nephew, his hand in one of her hands and the manila folder containing her resume in the other, she walked around looking for whoever the owner could be. Kai was quiet during the ride. Not that he felt bad, but he was still always enjoying the tropical nature he had ended up in after his father sent him to his aunt. Back in Japan he had never seen so much nature and wonderful weather in such quantity. Of course he missed his mother and father, but he didn't hate where he ended up. 'Aulani was really sweet and kind to him and he had come to love her a lot in the short time they had been together now, since before they hadn't really had the time to really meet, regardless of being family.
When they got to the bar, he tilted his head a bit. This was a place he had never entered before, nor had he really seen this part of town, or he just hadn't noticed as everything had been new and a lot to take in. Once his aunt was out of the truck, Kai didn't take long to get out of the truck as well. He was curious to this new area and eager to see more new places. Once he reached his aunt and she offered her hand, the boy smiled and took a hold of hers. Even though he was curious of nature, he felt the safer if he knew his aunt was right next to him and holding her hand always reminded him of that fact.
As they walked into the bar, Kai glanced back at the truck once more and their surfboards making sure all was alright before he looked in front of him as they entered the building. Unlike the outside, inside looked a little dark, but decorations and props helped to feel better about that fact. As he walked hand in hand with his aunt, the boy looked around them at the new building they entered. It wasn't half as homey as his aunt's house was and he definitely preferred being outside, but 'Aulani's promise about surfing after was enough reward for him to keep it to himself and not ask to leave right away.
Instead he moved a bit behind his aunt and tightened his grip on her hand as she called out to the two girls that were at the bar. Kai had improved a lot since he came to Roatoa Town but when it came to meetings in places as this he still preferred to be a little behind his aunt while he himself observed before he would speak up himself.

Aluna Kelekolio Aluna took a side glance when she heard the door open and saw ‘Aulani and Kai come into the bar. The woman stood up and aligned her back once again before looking at Leilani. “Of course, I’ll have the chef start it up as soon as I provide service to my guest.” The woman responded before taking one step back and turning to ‘Aulani and Kai. The woman took a good look at the aunt nephew before setting off towards them. She could tell that there would be some form of business judging from the manila envelope. The woman approached with a smile. “Welcome to Blue Moon Bar and Dance Company. Please have a seat right here and I’ll be right back.” The woman responded to the two as she offered a table away from Leilani. It would allow them to do business in peace. The owner disappeared for a couple of minutes, but when she returned she had a small bowl of cherry shaved ice. She went over to Kai first and placed it down. It was enough shaved ice to be a treat, but not enough that it would spoil his meals later. The woman then turned around the corner to the opposite side of the pair. The woman didn’t sit down just yet. She wanted to make sure the business was with her and not someone else. “How may I help you?” She said with a smile.

The woman who addressed her question is most likely an employee at Blue Moon Dance and Bar Company. She could also just be a friendly customer willing to help her out. She was offered a table to sit at as she would wait for the owner to come see her. As she continued to hold Jiron's hand, she walked with him to the table and sat down. She had already felt confident that she will be able to find work at this place so for her this is just finalizing the deal. Hopefully her nephew is feeling alright despite being somewhere unfamiliar to him surrounded by strangers. The same girl who addressed them before returned with a bowl of cherry flavored shaved ice and placed it on the table in front of Jiron. At first it seemed the other women just looked at them, but soon one got up and walked to them. Kai didn't move as he watched her approaching them. More curious and cautious than scared however. She seemed friendly though. When they were greeted and pointed to a place to sit, the boy followed his aunt there and sat down next to her. He wasn't sure what this meeting was about but he wasn't worrying about it. Kai was more distracted by how the place looked and it's view outside. When he saw the icecream being placed in front of him, his face lit up and he smiled at seeing the ice cream.
He was about to pick up the spoon when his aunt reminded him of proper etiquette when he was halfway to picking it up. Kai blushed a little, not very used to talking to people he just met but nonetheless he turned to the woman and gave her genuine "Mahalo, Ma'am." and bowed a bit to her kind of combining Hawaian and Japanese tradition together. After the awkwardness of talking to someone he didn't know had calmed a bit he gave her a smile.
Soon they turned to each other and Kai picked up the spoon and started eating the ice cream. He smiled happily when he tasted it. All ice cream were good in his world. For a moment he was no longer concerned with the unfamiliar surroundings, though he definitely still heard what they were talking about. He was sitting close enough after all.

Aluna Kelekolio Aluna smiled at the boy as he dug into his food. He seemed well mannered, which was nice, but that concerned her a bit when the woman commented about taking a job as a dancer here. The bar owner let out a sigh as she stepped back a bit before pulling a chair out and then sitting down across from the pair. She didn't need any good-two-shoes person working in the front areas. Maybe as a cook, but she needed a girl with some fire for the front. "I'll see your dancing only if you can show me it's worth my time to see it." Aluna responded with a challenge as she wrapped hear arms and leaned them against the table. Her figure tips touched her elbows as she thought up her first question. "At this bar we flirt with our customers and we have fun. Just because I give you this job doesn't mean you'll get it." She responded. Aluna leaned up a bit and noticed she gave a confusing statement. " What I mean is, I'll put you were you fit best. All girls start out as servers, for the most part, they practice during the day until they mastered what I can teach well enough, then they serve at night to make the rest of their money. Once you've shown me you can work as a team and you can dance, then you'll be given the position of dancer full time. If you're really good we'll even give you solo act opportunities." She rephrased so the woman understood what she meant. "When the dancing is done for the time we tease, flirt, and mentally pleasure our customers. What man doesn't want a pretty girl to tell him he's handsome and pour him a drink. You need to be comfortable enough to have a man see you as an object and put a hand on your hip, but tough enough to not let him go too far. If you sleep with out customers then you're fired. You can favor anyone over the other dancers and those you work with." This bar got big business which meant big cash and Aluna was willing to pay well for the best.

"Mahalo!" Leilani smiled and waved before finding a table. She opened her camera bag and began taking her gear out. She wanted to make sure her stuff was working. Nothing worse than your camera dying out when you needed to work.
