Euphyrates had left her; it had been after a flurry of activity though and it had certainly kept her entertained while it had occurred. The fish he had been waiting so patiently for had finally come up far enough for him to catch. She had watched in astonishment as he had swept them out one by one and thrown them easily into a little pool. No sooner had he began than it was over once more and he was left with an impressive pile of fish. Tiny as those fish might have been, she had discovered during her time conversing with him that they were for the cubs... Given they had limited appetites and it was better not to overfeed, these were the perfect size.

Alas, he had had to take his leave and he'd done so with a smile filled with fish as he'd wandered away, leaving her to her own thoughts once more. Much to her surprise, her mind wasn't in quite as bad a state as she thought it would be. There had been something about the lion that had struck a chord with her; the way he viewed the world and reacted to various things she perceived as a problem was fascinating.

Nothing bothered him because there were some things you just couldn't change.

...And if you could, then you would change them. If you couldn't change them, but they were meant to change, then eventually they would. That was how the world worked according to Euphyrates, and it had worked rather well when applied to fishing. Perhaps that was why she felt the worry depart from her and it hadn't yet returned. If she could apply those lessons to herself, then things would just work out in the end...right?

It was something that she chose to mull over as she continued to watch the hunters in the distance. They were certainly very active today to say the least!

With both her children in the Stormborn away, the deity saw no reason to remain there. In fact, it had made perfect sense for her to simply follow them to their chosen destination. Much to her delight she had discovered that both had temporarily taken up residence in the Bahari. With all of her children in one place it was the perfect opportunity for her to embrace them all and keep an eye on them. It had been so, so long since she'd seen her eldest too... but when she had gone to look for him he had been otherwise engaged in what appeared to be a rather serious discussion.

...Whatever it had been about, it had involved a lot of paw pointing and unhappy faces. Well, unhappy faces on the part of the Bahari lioness who had been talking to her son, her son had been as measured as always. One of these days he was going to lighten up, she had honestly never seen him let go and truly lose his temper, but oh what a day that would be!

She had soon found that her youngest offspring were also busy, and as a consequence she found herself at a loose end. Unsurprisingly she took this in her stride and immediately took flight to explore the very first land she had graced with her favour. It had recovered so well from it's tsunami; all those years ago when it had been in ruins and now it was positively thriving... To say she was delighted was an understatement. Nevertheless, having seen more than enough from the air, she soon circled down and promptly landed beside the white lioness.

A quick ruffle of her feathers and then she smiled.

"Lovely day isn't it?" she chimed and then peered down into the water that Tala seemed to be staring intently in to. All she saw was fish, lots of tiny little fish.

"Oooh do you speak fish?"

At first, Tala had thought that one of the gigantic seabirds had come in to land, but when she heard the gentle patter of paws she looked up in surprise. She'd never seen a god before and as a result her jaw soon dropped. She was a tiny deity, about the same size as Tala, but her eyes were bright and her fur was the most pristine she had ever seen. Not only that, but she seemed to have taken an immediate interest in whatever Tala had been doing.

...Now that was a point, what had Tala been doing?

"Uh..." she murmured in reply and then glanced briefly at the fish. She hadn't really been doing anything with them but she supposed it was a reasonable question. Well, it would have been reasonable if that had been asked, instead she had asked something quite the opposite. "No, I can't speak to the fish," she confirmed after a few moments and smiled. "I was just admiring them, they sparkle when they dance," she explained and motioned to them again.

"If you watch for long enough they'll start to dance again, they spook really easily," she added and returned her gaze to the fish. For some reason she was under the impression that this was no monumental occurrence, no one else around her had reacted to the sudden appearance of the winged deity and as such, she did her best to recover from her surprise as quickly as she could!

Ah, this was another one of those moments when a mortal had never encountered a god. She knew that face, she'd seen it a few times in the beginning, but to Tala's credit she recovered fairly fast. Ari's smile remained on her lips, warm and encouraging as she waited for the lioness to gain her wits, and then she returned her own gaze to the fish below them.

...So she was watching them dance?

Arimathras had never really been one for personal space and she soon lay down beside the lioness to peer at them properly. Nesting her chin on her paws, she regarded the otherwise still fish and pursed her lips. They weren't really doing anything at the moment; but sure enough, as the water settled again they began to move. At first the movements were slow, but they then began to swirl into much more exciting patterns and formations. They really did sparkle whenever the light hint them too!

"Ooooh, so you just have to have a little patience..." Ari admired with a delighted smile, completely unaware of Tala's brief start at the word. Apparently everyone Tala met today seemed to be saying the same thing; even if they had no idea what she was worried about.

"How wonderful," she cooed and settled in. Apparently Tala would be allowed to tend to her own thoughts while her new company admired what lurked below...
