Jumping back to avoid a spiked, club like, tail aimed for his head the eternal was able to avoid the intended hit though only just so. This was getting rather tiring, he wanted to go home and curl up behind his computer or even in his bed and just waste his time there. This was not what he wanted to be doing, not by along shot, but running into a youma on the way home from visiting his mother at work left little room but to jump in and handle things- or at least attempt to.
As the tail came for him again he was throwing himself to the side and rolling across the wet, snow coated, ground before coming up onto his feet. "Damn it." Cursing the dark haired male continued his search for a potential weapon. The problem was that nothing seemed to be around them. This hadn't been where the encounter had started, it had started when he'd caught the youma about ready to attack some unsuspecting civilian walking down the sidewalk. After powering up the youma had run and he'd given chase. Right to this open field that was part of the cities largest, and rather dangerous, park. There was nothing here but dead trees surrounding the field and snow covered grass - damn it!
Cloven feet pounded the ground while a hand, with long spindly fingers that ended in talon like nails, shot out aiming to grab him...or rake his face. He honestly wasn't sure what the plan was but he wasn't about to find out either, thus he ducked to avoid the claws aimed for his face.
When he came up he decided to go for the magic and see if he couldn't buy himself enough time to find some sort of weapon. He was not a physical fighter, never really would be despite Lily's attempts to train him. There was a reason he'd failed gym in high school, three times over.
"Chaldene Wisp's Secret" Blowing across the tips of his fingers towards the youma he watched the little blue wisps of magic make impact with the youma. And the moment he saw that he took off to gain some distance, and find something - anything.

He hadn't intended to power up that evening, rather enjoying being 'normal' for the time being, Intentions didn't always work out though and as he wandered past the park he noticed a commotion going on. There was a Senshi running from what looking like a giant youma. Grinning he ducked behind a tree and dug out his pen to transform. Youma hunting was one thing he had missed and since he was passing by he might as well help. Once he was settled as Sailor Arachne he ducked under one of the broken fence bars and into the park. "Looks like you're having some trouble there!" He called out before skidding to a hault not far from the other senshi. "Need a hand?"

Feeling a sudden aura his green eyes looked around, continuing their search but now also for the other senshi. Spotting the other he gave a rather quick nod of his head, dark hair hiding one of his bright eyes. "Yeah, if you have a big crow bar to smack it with - that would be nice. Otherwise please tell me you have magic that does damage." Since he didn't. His own wouldn't hold it long either, his own was good for an escape or for buying time...it didn't do damage. Though watching the youma wander about aimlessly was...amusing, and might lead to injuries.
He knew the youma was behind him wandering about, trying to reach what only it could see. He didn't need to look back to see what his magic had done, he knew what his magic did. "I can buy more time to find something to smack it with...but I can't keep it forever." And he wasn't a fighter, he didn't do the whole physical fighting thing.
He did, for a moment, take the time to look the other over and wondered just what he was senshi of. There wasn't much for white in his uniform and it looked rather gothic...but it looked good - warm also. Hearing what he guessed was the youma stumbling and falling he felt himself break out into a smile, some laughter passing his lips. Well...looked like his magic was good for some things.Grymoire Forgot to add in, before, what his magical attack does. So here is what the spell he used does. Super Sailor Scout Attack: Chaldene Wisp's Secret. This attack would go the same as above only this time the attack would last thirty seconds each time it's used and could now be used three times per battle. The significant difference however is that this time a person isn't simply distracted by the wisps appearing and vanishing only to reappear. But they are compelled, by magic and whispered words of encouragement, to look toward the wisps. The same things can break the spell as before only now when the spell is broken the opponent would feel slightly confused and perhaps even a little disoriented.

"Oh sweetheart. I've got this." He smirked, slightly vicious glee in his eyes as he gave the stumbling youma once over. It was kind of funny to watch it stumble around after the little wisps of light but it would be far more fun to pound it into dust. That was still his favorite part of being a senshi. "Sailor Arachne at your humble service." He smirked, bowing slightly before turning to face the monster. "Dusting those things is my specialty. Might take a little more than my magic since it is a pretty big sucker but ... nothing a few good punches wont cure." He should have probably talked to a therapist about how much he liked dusting the monsters but he didn't think the Senshi order was employing any. Not if half the ones he knew were any indication at least. Giving the other senshi a grin he darted off toward the youma. "Yo ugly!...Arachne's Venomous Wish!" He let one of the acid orbs form in his hands as he skidded to a hault just within throwing range of the youma's head. "Eat this!" Reeling back he threw the orb at the creatures face, clocking it right between the eyes. Quote: Attack #1a - Arachne Venomous Wish! [Arachne cups his hands over each other and a ball of violent green energy starts to grow between his palms. Once enough energy is collected the orb is throw at an enemy. Once struck the enemy takes the effect of the harsh acid burning into their skin and clothing. ((Note: The balls can only get about the size of a softball. Now the acid can not be removed from whatever surface they strike and continue to cause burns. The orbs can also now cause splash effects. Near-by targets (enemies and allies take a weaker form of damage equivalent to the weaker version of the attack. This attack can be done once per battle then Arachne is reduced to his base attack.))] Duration: Instantaneous, the orbs must be thrown within one post or Arachne risks burning himself. Avoidable: Yes. Arachne must throw the balls himself so they're only as good as his aim. Downside: If Arachne can't throw the ball within a post of it's creation the acid orb will begin to burn his own hands. The orbs splash effects can also harm allies if they are close to the point of impact

Oh how his cheeks turned red at the others words, as well as a stumble in his words as he replied, introducing himself. "S-Sailor Cha-Chaldene...will'o'the ummm wisp..." Which explained, for those who knew what a will'o'the wisp was, why the youma was stumbling about and trying to grab at the wisps it saw. Poor damn thing.
Toying with one of the lip piercings he had he shook his head quickly, to clear it, and went to find something else. "Good, cause I'm just good for distracting thi-youma." not things - youma. He could distract Negaverse agents also but only with the wisps. Yup, he was a stumbling, stuttering mess and the progress he'd made in dealing with people...shot - damn it.
The other certainly seemed to like fighting youma, calling it a specialty and going right into the fight like that. It was something he could never do...he wasn't one to jump into fights. He used to shy away from raised voices and he still shied away from violence, at least to a point, he had been learning to accept exceptions to it...to accept the Negaverse thing and the war raging around them. Just what happened when your father was a loud drunk who liked to drink...a lot.
As he reached the trees he went to get a branch, a large and solid one, he heard the youma let out a loud shrieking sound and figured the other senshi had done something nasty to it. The winged eternal came back, large branch in hand, and took a moment to look from the flailing youma that was wiping at it's face to the super senshi then.
"Good thing some of us have magic that hurts."

He was laughing by the time the Eternal caught up with him. He really had forgotten how much fun this was and now much of a rush it was to be able to do something like this. He ducked the giant spiked tail as it swung around while the youma failed, bouncing back a bit out of the way so he didn't get caught by any flailing limbs. The youma was trying to wipe off the acid but was only succeeding in spreading it over it's face and getting it on it's hands as well. That was one plus side to his newer powers. They hurt far worse now. He looked over at the other senshi when he spoke. "Best kind of magic to have. Though it being distracted made it easier to get a good clean shot." He raised a brow a bit at the tree branch the other had picked up, trying not to snicker at the image of the stuttering senshi using what was essentially a baseball bat. "You can probably break one of it's legs with that thing."

"I was hoping for a head shot." He said biting down on his bottom lip and turning away from the other, nodding his head once as he did so as if to affirm his own words.
"Glad my magic made it easier for you." The lighter clad senshi said then, slowly. Watching the youma he waited until it seemed to come out of his own magic, though it still seemed to be suffering from the others magic. The flailing seemed to have diminished, hence figuring his own magic had let up on the youma, and took advantage of that. He wasn't as likely to miss, since smacking it with the branch was not gonna be easy as it was a bit on the heavy and awkward side.
Stepping forward, closing the distance between himself and the youma, he yelled up at it in order to grab it's attention. Bringing it's focus on him, even as it tried to clean it's face. Mouth opening to let out another pained sound, though it also sounded rather angry, and as it brought it's large face down toward him he brought the branch back and swung as hard as he could.
Sending it back a step or two the next swing was right for a leg, for the knee, as he brought it down closer to his own height. They should be able to finish it now.

"Well isn't that a surprise." He grinned as the other senshi snagged a branch and headed for the youma. He'd half expected the other senshi to stay back and let him take care of the moster, given his attitude, and it was good to see him actually taking part. Not exactly how he would handle things but he also had a decent supply of magic to use unlike the other senshi. Having to resort to whatever was laying around was his least favorite way to deal with monsters. Laughed quietly he waited until the youma stumbled under the senshi's onslaught. When the creature's knee gave out he summoned another orb and jumped up onto the monsters shoulders. "Tsk tsk, teach you to try to eat unsuspecting senshi." He slammed the orb down on the yoma's head, grinning as the creature howled a moment before it turned to dust under him. He flailed slightly as the youma disappeared but managed to keep his footing once he hit the ground. Dusting his hands off he grinned at the other Senshi. "Not bad sweetheart."

Watching the other jump onto the youmas shoulders he pouted up at the other. "Treating me like some damsel in distress." Oh yes, his words might be hesitant and he was pouting but he still spoke up. He was good at that, when he wanted to speak up anyway. He just didn't do that a lot...he was someone who liked to take more to his keyboard to voice opinions and thoughts. Talking to actual people...that was not a very easy thing to do.
"He wasn't going to...eat me." That really didn't sound good in his mind. Actually it sorta liked like it wanted to rip his face off, so maybe...yeah. But he wasn't going to say that. He could handle his own, to a point...a rather limited point but still! He just wasn't a fighter...and his magic was sorta not really good on it's own...unless he was running away or like just before - looking for a weapon.
Watching the youma dust and the other land on his feet he turned away, rather quickly, at the others words. Pierced wings and his back facing the other. "I really need a joint after this." The words were more to himself than the other, spoken just above a whisper. But than he did raise his voice for the other.
"Treating me like a needy child." He felt like it right about now honestly. But he did manage out a few more words. "T-thanks for the ummm...help.." He hadn't been expecting it and it was appreciated. Prodding with his tongue at the backing, inside his mouth, to one of his piercings as he stood there silent and wondering if he should just run off for somewhere - but where? That would be rude though...right? Could he get away with running home to Lily's and locking himself away in his basement bedroom? it was a very tempting idea right now.

"Pretty sure it did want to eat you. That's sort of what they do. Stick their greedy little hands in you and pull out your starseed so they can eat it." At least that was close enough to what they did that he was going to go with it. "And you sort of looked like you were in distress. I could have let it eat you if you'd have preferred but i do hate to see cute boys go to waste." He really needed to find a group of Senshi who could handle taking down the monsters at this rate. If ones like this were becoming more common they were all going to end up getting eaten by the Negaverse and their pets without help. He straightened out his coat before looking over at the Senshi again, trying not to laugh. "If calling you sweetheart is all it takes to make you think someone's treating you like a child.... i think you need more than a joint to help with that. You are welcome for the help though, all in a days' work." He bowed with a slight flourish to the Will-o-Wisp senshi, giving him a last grin, before he headed back the way he'd come. Given that this area of the park was pretty dark he'd be able to disappear easily enough and power down so he could head back home.

Oh, he was pretty sure also but he wasn't going to say that. He couldn't help but feel a bit like a child or some damsel in distress that had gotten saved. While he was thankful, don't get him wrong he was, he couldn't help how he felt. He was rather insecure in himself but he tired to...hide it, and failed most times. But he couldn't help that he couldn't fight and that he had never learned because he didn't want to...because he couldn't. He could only just manage to hurt, and kill, youma and that had taken some time.
He wanted to correct the other, that it was the whole three words, which made him feel like some helpless child. While the other thought he could more than a joint it was his only real vice, as smoking wasn't his thing and drinking wasn't for obvious reasons to those who knew about his father. Damn man liked to live inside a bottle, just a different color and label every so often, he wondered how he was doing for a moment but decided to ignore it for now. It hurt thinking about him...because he still loved him as a child would a parent but he didn't like him - couldn't...not anymore.
Watching the other leave he turned to head off as well. The glowing bits of his uniform keeping him from every hiding completely.
