Alphubel should have been patrolling. He should have been ready and alert just in case any negaverse agents were nearby. He should have been training or doing something that would be helpful. So why was he out here in the park, laying on the cold grass, away from the lights, and just enjoying the night out? He couldn't help it. The night sky had called to him. It was so clear and perfect that he only wished he could be looking at this sight forever. He had missed this. He hadn't been able to just relax and enjoy the night ever since he had moved here. Though it was mostly because of school and the fact that it was nice and cold out, one of the reasons he was powered up. He had a nice scarf and robe combination on that kept him quite warm. Back in California he could pretty much do it any night that he wanted. Tonight it had called to him again, and he couldn't help but answer it. Though, by observing the sky, he didn't notice the signature of another fellow knight.

The Knight of Polaris wasn't the only one shirking his duties that evening. Then again, patrolling wasn't exactly something that Celliwig did often on her own. She had picked the habit up a bit more now that she had her best friend joining her in the world of the weird. Tonight they'd taken a bit of time to themselves. She wanted her friend to have a chance to think on some things without having her babble in the background so she had gone for a walk in the park. Celliwig didn't make it far along the path she was walking before she caught a trace of an Order aura. "Time to practice tracking!" The Page of Earth smiled brightly, hiking up her skirts as she went off path to walk across the grass towards the other knight she felt.

Alphubel was just about to fall asleep he felt the small telltale aura of another knight. It seemed to be another page like him. Cool! Maybe they would be willing to talk with him? He needed some other knight friends anyway. He got up, making sure to stretch a bit before fully standing up and brushing some dusty snow on him. When he finally got to look around, he saw another girl that seemed to be coming in his direction. It must be her! He thought as he waved in her direction. From what he could see, she was wearing a long dress. It was interesting how different each knight looked. He wondered what type of page she was.

Celliwig might have missed him at first if she hadn't caught him waving after he stood, her powers of observation not always the greatest. The Earth page smiled, tucking a strand of hair back behind her ear before waving in return. "Good evening! I almost didn't see you... Bit cold to be lying on the ground, isn't it?" Maybe not, actually, given that whatever he was wearing seemed to be well suited for just activities. "Page Celliwig, of Earth. And who do I have the pleasure of meeting tonight?"

An Earth page? Wow! He thought to himself as he walked a bit closer to her. "Really? You're outfit is really interesting. I like it." He had liked all of the outfits of all of the knights he had seen so far. He knew they had some themes, but the variety of it were fascinating to him. He really wished to meet another polaris knight, just to see how they looked different. "Yeah, luckily I'm nice and warm in this outfit. Though it probably won't be as nice in the summer." Hopefully he wouldn't be too hot, but one never knew. Maybe there was a way he could keep cool at the same time still. "Alphubel, page of Polaris! It's very nice to meet you! You're the first Earth knight I've seen." It was true, he had unfortunately not met many other knights yet but he was trying to fix that. He was a bit embarrassed to be caught in such a situation. She must think he was a loser for slacking when it came to his duties. He tried to explain himself. "I... well the sky was just calling to me and I couldn't look away." He muttered out.

"You might be surprised--- About the outfit in summer, that is. With the long sleeves on mine I thought it would be sweltering, but I think there's something special about it all that keeps us save. I mean... How else would the sailors be okay out here in all of their skirts without freezing?" It seemed like sound logic to the Earth page, at the very least. Not that she'd met many sailors......... Or anyone other than a handful of knights, really. Celliwig looked sheepish for a moment as she tilted her own head to look to the stars as well. "It really is beautiful tonight, isn't it? I used to spend a lot of time out here just staring up at the stars myself; wondering whether or not we were alone and if anyone up there would ever make contact. Joke was on me when all of this started." The page laughed, shaking her head slowly before her eyes widened. "Wait! You said Polaris? Like the North star? That's so cool." And definitely excused any stargazing, as far as she was concerned. "You do know how to find it in the sky, right?"

"Well, that's good to know. It was going to be harder to patrol with an outfit like mine in the heat." He was excited then! He could go out on patrol all year! Or at least he didn't have to move somewhere that was cold all of the time. He gave a small smile before taking another look at the clear night sky. "Yes... it's very beautiful. On nights like I like to take out my telescope and look at the stars through it. Though, now that I'm in a dorm and it's colder outside, it's a bit harder to do that. It's much better in the summer, at least for me. But... it still feels kind of lonely. I mean, all of, well, this war seems to be happening on Earth. Are there more senshi out there in space?" The only senshi he had heard of were the ones who lived on Earth. Sure, he was a knight of Polaris, but from what he had heard, the senshi, and even the princess he served, were reincarnations rather than coming from different planets. He nodded enthusiastically at her. "Yep! It's pretty awesome. You just look at the big dipper, or Ursa Major and it's a straight line from one of the 'dipper's points." He had looked at it often before. It had seemed to call to him for some reason, and he supposed now that he was knight of that Star that that had been the reason.

"The first time I saw a senshi it was in space, but... I don't think that's where they are. They're just waking up here." Knowing that now didn't change that when she had first found out about them she had been entirely convinced that they were all aliens, senshi and knights alike. Her own awakening had only been a little bit easier to swallow in finding out that she was at least of Earth. "The outfits do seem a little over the top and impractical in some aspects, don't they? I've nearly tripped over my dress more times than I can count-- Too long to stay out of the way." Celliwig shook her head slowly, snorting softly. "So, Alphubel, what brings you out to the park this evening?"

"You saw a senshi in space?! No wonder you thought they were aliens. I mean Earth science really hasn't advanced far enough to go out and travel freely in space yet after all." He was slightly jealous that she had met a senshi in such a way. That would have been incredibly interesting! "It is interesting that we're all waking up here though and kind of sad I guess. Like, there WAS life on other planets, but now it's just being concentrated on one particular one." From what he remembered being told, Senshi's could go to their home planets, but Alphubel couldn't imagine that there was much human life on those. He had to agree with the outfit tripping though. "Yeah, these robes have been kind of hard to run in. I keep feeling like I'm going to catch my foot in them at an important moment. Too bad we can't choose what they look like." He did wonder why they looked so different. If they were knights, shouldn't they look more uniform? Yes they had themes, but that wasn't the same. Perhaps it was the use of magic that allowed the different uniforms because they didn't have to rely on mass production of the same pieces of armor? He blushed a bit at her question. "Uh well... I thought patrolling might be a good idea to get my mind off of studying for a bit, just to relax. And the sky sort of distracted me." It had helped though with de-stressing though. It was nice to stare into the sky, almost feeling like it was an endless abyss or something and wishing he could go out there. "If I may ask, were you doing anything important out tonight?"

"It was years ago, but... A number of civilians, myself included were abducted. I don't know if that's really what it was or wasn't, but that's what it seemed like. We were all brought up to this place and it was incredible." Unfortunately, she couldn't remember it all with the detail that she would have liked to, but she remembered enough to know that it had been surreal and something close to what she would have considered 'heavenly'. "Important?" Celliwig laughed, shaking her head slowly. "No, I was just out stretching my legs. My housemate recently found out that she's a page too and we've been adapting to that news. It's... Made things interesting, to say the least. I don't feel as alone in all of it anymore, or like I have to hide it from her."

Alphubel was surprised and couldn't keep it off of his face. Really, what had he done by coming to this city. "Wow... Well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised with all that happened to me so far while I was here before I was awakened." Getting attacked by mutant bats and a mutant poinsettia didn't seem that amazing anymore at least. "I'm surprised that my brother didn't tell me all of this weird stuff that happened, though my parents probably wouldn't have believed him." But Tom had tried to talk him out of it as best he could. "I was awakened when a classmate and I were attacked. Though he's a senshi, so not exactly the same thing, but at least we have the same goal in mind. It's nice having someone you know that you can talk to about this sort of stuff." He felt a pang of guilt when he remembered he hadn't told his brother about any of this. But Tom couldn't know. What would telling him do anyway? "I'm glad though that I've gotten to meet so many pages though, even if they aren't Polaris. I mean it's nice to have someone on the same side, but getting to know fellow Pages helps a lot. We can count on each other a bit more right?" He didn't believe that the senshi's would abandon them for any reason, but one still felt more of a sense of belonging when they were with their own group and not the odd one out.

"So-- Your brother is one of us?" Her brow lofted, eyes wide with excitement. It was an interesting thought, really, that things like this could be genetic. "Or was he just around for strange things that have happened here in the city? There have been an awful lot of strange things... I'd started a club to investigate them at one point." They hadn't gotten very far, but it had been worth the attempt. "I'll be honest, I haven't really gotten to partner up with many people. I'm afraid I haven't spent much time out and about at all. I was frightened at first, worried after that, and then... You said you haven't been to your Wonder yet, right? Or have you? Maker's breath, I'm sorry if I'm mixing up the conversation."

"He was just around for the strange things." Alphubel replied, a bit disappointed that his brother wasn't a knight too, it would make things a lot easier and would definitely make being a knight more fun. "Though I feel like he knows more about this than he's telling me. As much as I don't like secrets kept between us, he has his own and I know I have some that I can't tell him." He said, smiling a bit sadly. He would really have to call his brother tomorrow and try to meet up with him again. They hadn't been able to meet up with each other since January. And it seemed that she had been pretty lonely too when it came to being a knight. "I haven't been to my Wonder yet. I've been too nervous to try it. I keep wondering if there would be something on it that I really wouldn't want to meet!" He certainly wasn't ready to fight any giant monster without a few more people by his side. "Well... if you want a patrol partner, I'd be willing to help? Or at least when you're roommate can't do it with you?" He really wanted to find more knights, or senshi, to patrol with, at least he would feel like they were doing something.

"Sometimes it can be difficult keeping secrets from the people that we care about, but... Sometimes it's also for the best. My friend that's a page, like us? I'd been trying to work up the courage to tell her for a while, but there's always risk." As Regina she trusted Jocelyn with everything, even some of her absolutely crazy ideas. At the mention of patrol partners she smiled brightly, nodding her head in a way that found a shock of ginger hair falling across her face. She tucked it back behind her ear, smile now somewhat sheepish. "I'd like that, honestly. Always a good idea to have someone else to call for backup too, in the event anything happens. I know we're supposed to be able to communicate with these rings of ours too... Just haven't worked it all out yet."

"Yes... as much as I want to tell my brother, I know there's a lot of danger involved in all of this." Although he knew that his brother would probably never say anything, what if he tried to help? If that happened then he might be spotted by a Negaverse agent and possibly hurt! After all he had seen some... disturbing things done by Negaverse agents. "I know he would just try to help me because he wouldn't want to see me hurt but I can't have him do that. I have to get from under his wing sometime at least." And he had felt a bit more self-confident by being able to do more things on his own, even if he was constantly attacked by things in this city. "Great! Uh, here let me get something to write on..." He replied while fishing through his robe to see where pocket was that he kept the pen and paper in. "Unfortunately I don't have my ring so that's not a possibility anyway yet." He almost mumbled, still slightly distracted trying to find the writing items. He mumbled a 'yes!' as he managed to fish out the paper and pen, and wrote his contact information on them. Currently he had an email address and some other accounts that he only associated with his White Moon buddies. "If you're willing, or else I can just give you my contact information and then you can try and get my attention when you're ready or want to go out on patrol together?"Skye Starrfyre If you want to continue this for longer that's fine, but if you want we can do another post from each of us and then call it done?
