It was beginning to feel like an eternity as the Prince laid waiting for the games to begin. He really wanted to see some action, participate in some action, and then leave this godforsaken kingdom for good! Well...probably not for good. Eventually Cole would need to see the Queen for her demon king piece, but that could come later. Maybe they could head to the Water Kingdom next? Or the Light Kingdom? The Prince wasn't all to familiar with very many of the Kingdoms, but he had visited the Water Kingdom a few times in his younger days as a way to expose him to people outside of his own Kingdom. The Water Kingdom was the closest thing the Psychic Kingdom had to an ally after all, given they were the closest Kingdom (by water of course) and therefore one of there largest trading partners. And the Light Kingdom, well they got along with the Water people just fine, so they must've been an understanding kind.
After the Prince finished his extended thought process that only existed to help smooth the transition between the first guild and the second-- 'wait...what?' The Prince thought, clearly thrown off by his inner dialogue that was more then a little aware of the fourth wall, but regardless, the Prince sat up on the klinai once more, holding out his wine glass in the hopes that either the Djinn or the lizard would take it. "Do you think they serve food somewhere in here? We've been here all day..." Cole muttered, looking around at the still growing crowd. He had to wonder what Mary was thinking a little as well. After all, the woman had left an impression on him. What was this impression? The Prince wasn't sure. It was a feeling he hadn't felt in a long time, and it would take more then just a few short exposures to it to pull such a feeling from his memory banks.

A sigh escaped the lips of the older female, she was clearly bored at this point and an unamused djinn wasn't a great djinn. Moments after that sigh, she would simply grumble lowly whilst taking a sip from her glass, finishing what she had quite easily. It was quite clear to see how her boredom made her mind drift as she hadn't realised she had finished the cup until she brought it to her lips once more. No liquid. Not a drop of alcohol remained as Lifen would glare into the glass.
Nothing still.
Maybe she could wish for some more-- nope, she couldn't do that, she granted wishes, not the one to actually make them as she clicked her tongue and tossed the cup aside, allowing it to clank against the floor to break the silence that seemed to linger.
Well, it was safe to say it wasn't completely silent as the dragon gave a small hiccup. She definitely couldn't hold her liquor in the slightest as she was hiccuping softly, drunk from a single glass of that wine. It almost made the djinn wonder how strong this liquor was, or how used to it she was as well, it surprised her but then she slowly came to the conclusion, this was the dragons first drink. At least, that was the most likely option as the female would watch the white haired female's cheeks turn rosy and upon seeing the prince hold out his glass, it was obvious by the slight gleam in the eye of the dragon she was going to take it.
Lifen would take it though, holding back the dragon and taking the glass from his grasp, taking it for herself whilst hearing the dragon whimper. She truly seemed like a pet or an uncontrollable sulking child whilst in this state as a mere chuckle would escape her lips. That chuckle would confuse the dragon though, the red head found joy in Xynera's misery and sulking, that was meant to make her feel guilty? The dragon wasn't having it as she swiftly turned around and had her back to the duo, annoyed whilst glaring out the corner of her eye at the djinn whenever she could. The dragon was certainly different under the influence of alcohol, not so much of a worry wart.
"Serve food like we had this morning? I doubt it, but there should be someone, surely." The djinn would utter, a smug smirk forming upon her face whilst she took a sip of the new glass of wine she had gained. That smug look was due to her so-called victory that morning with the spices, how she managed it all, it was her proudest moment it would seem as she glanced around, wondering if someone would be present with food. "Though, are you sure you should eat before a game like this?" She'd question the male, to her, it was odd for someone to want to eat before anything like this would happen, she couldn't deny that but she seemed to let it slide a bit.

The Prince was more then a little surprised when Xynera, the usually rather apologetic dragon, began to eye up the drink. Had she really enjoyed the wine that much? Before he could decide for himself she decided for him, and he watched in slight awe as her blushed face began to reach for it, only for it to be snatched away at the last moment by the Djinn. It was clear that Lifen was doing this for the specific reason of keeping it out of the dragon's hands, and that made Cole a little suspicious. Maybe he would play with this later...
"Why wouldn't I want to eat? What you think I'm going to be running around trying to fight whoever it is hand to hand? No way! I'm a psychic user, I'll take the loser down without moving an inch." Cole stated, smirking a little himself as he began to stretch his neck to look over the edges of the balcony, not moving from the Klinai as he tried to spot a vendor. But there was no such luck. Cole figured they would be under the stands, but the Prince didn't want to move. So he gave in to his lazy desires, laying back on the klinai once more. "...But...if you insist, I suppose I can wait until after..."

The dragon would continue to face away, staring over the balcony and grumbling, sulking with the djinn mostly but also Cole a little bit for probably some bizarre drunken reason. More like she found it unfair to not sulk with him and purely sulk with Lifen so she decided to sulk with them both. It seemed to be the only 'logical' thing for the female to do.
Lifen kept that eyebrow raised at what he said, sounded like this little fight was going to be slightly boring to her but no matter. It wasn't as if she was fighting so she couldn't say much and judge what should happen. The djinn couldn't deny, that smirk made her want to see him take a couple of punches but she quickly threw them thoughts to the side, after all, she was present to two psychic kingdom... people, she was never too sure what to call them. Nor did she ever figure out much of how them reading minds worked so she couldn't risk such thoughts right now.
The djinn nearly spat her drink out when she heard him practically giving into her,. was it that easy before? She highly doubted that as she coughed a little, almost choking on that drink. "I-If I insist? Well ain't that a first.." She muttered, looking genuinely quite surprised, stuttering slightly from that shock alone.
"You don't have to listen to me, kid. Go on, stuff your face if you're gonna be so lazy with your fight~" She'd toy before trying to tempt him into using up his last wish, "Or wish for some food~ I can do that simple task~" She'd chime, trying to tempt him, unsure if it would be successful as she took a sip of her wine.
Xynera only added grumbles to the conversation as she muttered, "Why not... sneak in like you do, and take some from the kitchen?" She muttered to the djinn as she hiccuped softly whilst receiving an instant glare from the red headed female. How dare the dragon offer up that sort of plan, surely that would take her time and she was positive that with people here who knew her at least a bit, this plan wouldn't work in the slightest. With a low growl from the djinn, the red head reached out and proceeded to flick the wing of the drunken dragon who flinched and let out a small yelp and muttered lowly, not an apology though left those lips, just mutters of possible curses.
The djinn simply ignored them like they were nothing though and pretended that the white haired female had aid nothing, taking another sip of wine.

Mary sat in her cell/staging area waiting patiently for the "games" to start. She wondered silently who or what she would be fighting. Her thoughts wandered from the matter at hand and back to the day before, before all of this mess happened. Mary had been a free woman not 72 hours ago, smoking her pipe on the docks of the electric kingdom, maybe she should have never left. She twirled her pistols around, as she often did when she was nervous, thinking about the people that she had met up to this point. She thought about the prince and how they had become unlikely partners in crime. She thought about the Djinn and her Dragon, the beginning of her fledgling crew. She thought about the fox demon that had treated her well during her time as a a prisoner to the queen. The Queen's image entered her head, Mary didn't know what to think of her. The night that they had shared seemed... special, but she was just a pirate, could it even be possible that the queen felt the same? Mary shook her head at the thought, she decided that it, like so many other things, was a problem she would deal with later, the only thing that mattered now was surviving these games by any means necessary.
Cole could feel the Dragon's sulking and it wasn't very pretty. It seemed the sweet innocent and kind dragon had completed a full 180, and was now being much more...well....like himself. But that wasn't all that had caught his attention. It had seemed that Lifen hadn't fully understood his reasoning behind what he said.
The Prince had no intention of making the Djinn feel like he was actually listening to her, but if thats how she took it then he would leave it that way. After all, maybe it would help him out in the long run? "No thanks...I'm not all that hungry..." He admitted, also being quite serious. Cole really wasn't hungry at all, he just wanted something to do. And eating was an activity.
But then Xynera spoke up, the snarky attitude in her voice leaving a ringing in his ears. He sat up in sudden shock, looking at the back of Xynera for a good few seconds before bursting into laughter. "W-wow! Thats new! You should talk back to the genie more often." The Prince said, a small smirk stuck to his face. Seeing such anger existing for no reason was so relaxing, and he was hoping to be able to turn it on the Djinn yet again. To user her most trusted friend against her in verbal combat!

Lifen was most definitely unamused by this point at both Cole and Xynera. She found them both to be acting like brats, though when she didn't think of them as such was only on a special occasion. Frowning at the boy when he said no thanks merely confused the djinn, so he wasn't hungry after all? "Make up your mind if you're hungry or not, brat." She'd grumble, definitely not catching on in the slightest about him not being hungry at all, it was an annoying predicament the red head was stuck in. Stuck between a sulking and insulting drunken dragon and a brat for a Prince, how she always wanted to spend her days as she sighed heavily.
The words of encouragement aimed at the dragon was something the djinn was more than a little pissed about as she growled a threat, "Don't you encourage her, kid, or I'll skin you." She would threaten, coming out with more serious threats than the simple no Wish granting ones she'd throw at him constantly.
Though the dragon chipped in.
"You won't do it, you never do." She'd respond, quick as a pistol as the djinn looked genuinely shocked, maybe she could prove it to her. But that wouldn't help things as she muttered, "Stupid lightweight." Lifen would insult as she took a sip.
Though it seemed the dragon wasn't finished yet as she seemed to shoot some words at Cole as well, "You're no better, Prince Grumpy-guts. Making me decide who's attractive with boobs... " She'd grumble, holding an obvious grudge after what had happened in the baths the night before as Lifen snicker ed whilst trying to sip her wine, masking it as she raised an eyebrow. This was amusing her a little now rather than annoying her as the djinn wasn't the only victim in this now.

It was almost time for the fights and Iichi being himself was wondering around the cells to look at the competitors. Most of them had been in here for months waiting for their judgement while others were newly added. He had continued to walk checking all of them out. 'Old Male... old male... young boys .....Mary... more me- wait a minute.' Iichi had stopped taking a few steps back to look at the scarlet haired woman sitting in a ceil by herself. Putting his hands on his hips he looked at her. "Now what did little Mary do to get herself into this mess?" He teased her knowing full well what she was in for. He just couldn't help teasing her.
Mary perked up hearing a familiar voice coming from the bars of her cell. It was Iichi, the queen's personal trickster and body guard that had treated her nicely in the palace. She smiled and walked over to the door and gave it a push to open it "well hello Iichi, welcome to me humble cell, I would invite you in for some tea but I didn't have a chance to stop by the market between the Queen's bedroom and here" she teased back.

He could hear people filling in the stands above them. The cheers from the citizens were clear to both of them that it was close to time. Iichi placed a hand on Mary's shoulder. "You'll do fine Mary." He said almost like he was giving false hope. Turning around from her, he took a few steps but stopped remembering something. "Oh I almost forgot. You might need this." Iichi said digging in his kimono pulling a bag out of it. The bag was draw string venom purple pouch. The contents inside clinked together as if there where multiple of the same item in it. He tossed it to her before he turned around and walked up to the queens seat.
Mary looked down at the pouch that was thrown to her. She opened it only to find five smaller bags. She sighed and sat down to open the extra bags, feeling like an idiot for playing along with Iichi's nonsense. In each additional bag was a round for her pistols, something she was happy enough to receive and the last bag she opened contained... a cookie. Mary chuckled to herself, a chocolate chip cookie? what a thing to give a pirate going off to face her possible death. Mary never had a taste for sweets but she ate the confection anyway, it was pretty good but she had wished she had some milk. Mary heard the crowd outside and heard the horns begin to play, she knew that the time had just about arrived and adjusted the hat on her head, preparing to enter the arena.

The Prince had lost his interest in the dragon's sassy attitude when it suddenly came flying at him. He blushed a little, realizing how odd it sounded when she put it the way she did. "I never said you had to decide purely based on breast size..." He mumbled, crossing his arms a little before looking back at Lifen. "Shes your pet. Why don't you control her? Spray her with some water or something. Call her a bad dragon." Cole recommended, hoping that the Djinn would make a comment worse then his own to take away the frustrations of Xynera.

After leaving Mary with her little goodies, Iichi thought it would be a good time to get to his seat. He usually sat with queenie in her special little box and got to enjoy the blood shed that was going to take place. The last games that had happened Ivy had sent a huge scorpion to take out all of the competitors. None of them had a chance to live.
"I never said you had to......breast sizes.... Spray her ..water...Call her a bad dragon...." Iichi started to hear but with the crowd made it some what to hear. Iichi could hear as he approached the Queens sitting area. What ever the topic was he was enjoying it. Finally walking into the canopy covered area he could see the heads of queenies guests. Well only one of them was her guest the others where party crashers but Iichi didn't mind. Walking up behind them he placed his hands on his hips.
"Heeyyyy Princey" Iichi started grabbing all of the Lifen ahd her little dragon's attention. The prince didn't turn around due to Iichi being right behind him. Well if the prince was going to ignore him, he would ignore the prince. Using the prince as a arm rest as Iichi looked at the others. "Hello Xynera" he said to the dragon with a playful wink. His orange orbs landed on Lifen. "And Mrs. Rubs" Iichi said licking his lips leaning on the prince even more. "You lovely ladies must be here to watch the games."

The dragon puffed out her cheeks as she mumbled in return yet scolding the male, "Best not say what... I think you said... Because you did along with... " The female would trail off, her hiccups getting the best of her as there were more compared to a little before. Noticing that tinge of blush, the dragon guessed right as she was about to say more but was thankfully stopped by Lifen, "Not so funny when it's aimed at you, huh?" She'd tease lightly with a small giggle before looking over to the prince properly and smirking.
She looked rather triumphant as Lifen spoke, "Now, now, both of you need to tone it down with some water I think, Mr Grumpy-Guts and you as well, drunk~"] She'd chime light heartedly with that same little smirk as she raised her hand a little and ruffled the dragon's hair who tried to fend off the djinns hand by waving her hands a little. But it was no use.
Lifen didn't bother with what the prince said though, she treated it like he was grumpy and it amused her. Though that was when they heard a familiar voice, one that got a fairly surprised expression from the drunken dragon and a roll of the eyes from the red headed female.
As their names were spoken, or nicknames, the duo reacted differently as a giggle escaped the lips of the white haired female whilst Lifen clicked her tongue, obviously a little unamused but when was she not?
"I came here for the alcohol, and to root for my dear little lamp holder and princey~" Her tone of voice changed whilst speaking, from annoyed to sounding vaguely teasing as she took another sip from her wine glass. On the other hand, Xynera nodded a little, in this state, the games didn't worry her so much but how long she'd stay drunk from only one glass wasn't known, she could likely sober up halfway through and want to hide. "We assume you too~?" She'd assume with a small giggle and hiccup.
