The Fairy Kingdom
The Fairies are an ancient race that have lived in Celestria for eons.No one knows where exactly their kingdom is located, but rest assured: Once you find it, you won't remember it.
Fairies do not welcome many strangers into their land and those who disrespect them or their land are subject to curses or mean pranks. Even those who tread into their territory by accident are often made to dance wildly until they drop or have their houses fly away.
However, despite their demand for respect, they do not hold the same respect for other creatures, often stealing their children and replacing them with a sick fairy child or stealing artifacts from other Kingdoms. They have been more than a small headache for most. Most Kingdoms cannot stand fairies and seek to find their homes. Their wings are also valuable accessories and used in medicine, so they're often caught and their wings removed. However, fairies are well-aware of this fact and cast spells to hide their Kingdom from intruders and to make them forget what they saw if they manage to find it.
Fairies are small, winged humanoids with large eyes. Their wings are beautiful and unique to each fairy. However, when the wings are removed, the fairy becomes human.
But the term "fairy" is a general term used for hobgoblins, pixies, sirens, wisps, nymphs or any lesser spell-casting creature. that is often associated with protection and mischief and is weak against iron.
When they leave their Kingdom, they may adopt a more human appearance by casting glamours, or appearance-based magic. Fairies are vain and often rely on glamours to disguise their physical appearance in the Kingdom as well. They are clever and capable out talking their way out of sticky situations.
The Royals
The Queen of the Fairy Kingdom is Titania, a shrewd and stern fairy with little patience for nonsense and no fondness for humans. She demands absolute loyalty and is not above punishing her own subjects harshly for displeasing her.
The King is Oberon, a gentle, yet stern King who rules alongside his Queen. Yet to a lesser extent. He is not as revered as Titania, but is no less respected. Unlike Titania, he does not particularly mind humans so long as they do not disrespect his Queen or his Kingdom.
Allies and Enemies
Since the Fairy Kingdom is relatively out of the way of human affairs, they do not have any strong alliance with any Kingdom. The Psychic Kingdom is the closest Kingdom to them, however, they do not consider each other allies whereas they just tolerate one another.
However, if they were to consider anyone an enemy, it would be the Dark Kingdom. For as long as anyone can remember, the Dark and Fairy Kingdom's have always been at odds. Since the fairies once stole a precious artifact from the Dark Kingdom's former Queen, the Dark Kingdom has declared them an enemy and has since then attempted to hunt them down, but to no avail. Since the Fairy Kingdom is so well-hidden, the Dark Kingdom eventually gave up, but still kept the sleight in the back of their minds. Any fairy found near the Dark Kingdom is killed immediately.
Gods
The fairies do not practice any set religion, so the Fairy Kingdom is a fairly diverse and open-minded place so long as you aren't too pushy.
