Mood: Anxious With: Nobody Thoughts: I hope I'm not late!
After a solid eight hours of sleep, Natsu wakes up. Something was wrong. She turns her head slightly to check the time. The blue turtle clock hanging on her wall read that she was running behind schedule by about twelve minutes. She did not set the alarm on her phone.
But I could've sworn I did... she reminds herself, then checks on her phone. She pushes the button on her smartphone device, but the screen does not change into her lock screen; it remains pitch black like it was the day she bought it. "Oh no..." she says, then finds out that she did not even plug in the charger.
She groans and forces herself off of the bed. I'll have to plug it in while class is in session," she grumbles in her mind. It was at this point that she had to do what she calls "Crunch Time". She needs to get through everything both as quickly and efficiently as she can manage.
She grabs a raspberry Greek yogurt from the fridge and then pulls a spoon from a drawer. She mixes it up and consumes it in two and a half minutes. Raspberries are lower in sugar than other fruits and even have fiber in them. Add Greek yogurt to the mix and you have yourself a healthy and hearty breakfast.
It's something...Wonder if the kids eat breakfast... she pondered. She would have to ask them. She washes her spoon by hand, then steps into the bathroom. She takes a shower in five minutes flat, then dries off. She unfortunately had to compromise her hair today, so a ponytail would need to do. She furls it up and hopes the kids don't notice.
She puts on clean underwear (both bra and panties), then her skirt, undershirt, and finally her formal button top to put over the undershirt. She applies the standard pink scrunchie to complete her look. She looks in the mirror. She didn't have time to apply make-up today, and she was certain her students would not care.
She grabs her purse down from her bed and heads to the door, where her heels are waiting to step outside. She puts them on and opens the door. She closes it behind her. Thankfully, it was a trustworthy environment, so theft was not a concern. Not to mention, what would somebody take? Her clock?
She giggled at the thought and made her way to the school.
