Odainsaker had recently started patrolling again. She'd been spending time working at faries and storytelling events/conventions. So she could better her talents at them. As well as writing columns on them.
The girl had started a news blog after all on similar events. Because of this, she'd stopped patrolling as often and had fallen down on her duties, but she was making up for it tonight. However, as cold as it was she was wearing a cloak to help keep herself from not being as cold. Thankfully she'd had an opal colored coat made that would work well with her powered uniform.
She had felt a negaverse agent's aura near by and as she rounded the corner. Odain found the woman looking as if she was trying to break into the Library. "Halt ye vagabond miscreant!" Okay she'd been working the Ren Faire too much.

Bellite knew she shouldn’t be near her place of work while she was powered up, she knew that...but she had left her purse...with her house key inside of it..in the library, and she had been going on a patrol, so now she had been just about to power down and unlock the doors to go and get what she needed, when she heard the voice...and felt the order aura.
For a moment, the lieutenant froze, trying to think of what she could do--what she could say...of all the things she could be accused of...a vagabond miscreant...that was not at the top of the list.
“I...excuse me?” She turned and gave the page a confused look, both at the words...and her outfit. This was not something she had seen before, and that both half frightened her, and fully intrigued her. “What...I mean...who are you?”

Odainsaker paused when the woman looked confused. "I said halt, vagabond miscreant." The woman approached Bellite "It looked as if, you were attempting to break into ye olde library."
She paused when the other asked what, rather who was she. "Well, that's easy. I'm a knight of cosmos! Well, page; actually. Odainsaker."
She paused again and looked at Bellite, "And you are?"

…Ye olde library…? Bellite felt a wave of concern wash over her. Clearly this…cosmos knight…page had some brain damage. That…was too bad.
“Uh. No. Not really, no.” It wasn’t breaking in if she worked there…though perhaps it was breaking in, but only in order to get the keys she had left, but that was a whole other story that she wasn’t going to get into this evening. “Bellite. I’m Bellite. Negaverse lieutenant. Now, if you don’t mind…there’s really no need for you to be here, so you can be on your way, Miss Odainsaker.”
Bellite gave a curt nod of her head and turned back to the doors, hoping that the page would just take the hint and go…so she could get inside and get home.
…She didn’t want a confrontation. She wasn’t ready to actually go against a living person yet…she still hadn’t mastered all of the training dummies that Sanidine had made for her.

Odainsaker looked at Bellite frowning when she didn't take the hint. "Okay Bellite, but you still can't go breaking in there."
She said with her arms crossed, her practice arrow had appeared in her hand. She didn't really want to poke the other with it or bop them. However, bell was slowly starting to earn the irritation from the page. So she would use the arrow if the girl didn't listen this time.
"I don't want to fight you, so I suggest you turn around and leave. I don't want you hurting innocent people, and while I dooo hope there's not any in ye olde library at this hour. I can't allow you go in there."
She was also pretty sure there were security alarms in places like this. Thank god for not actually living in the Renaissance era.

Bellite closed her eyes and counted to ten. Maybe she should have just powered back down for this but…the strength that she got while powered was so helpful for opening locked doors…
“I don’t want to fight you either, and you are the one who keeps antagonizing me, so please, if you’ll just leave me alone, I give you my word that I won’t hurt any innocents tonight. Scouts honor.”
She glanced back at the page just in time to see an arrow appear in her hand and the lieutenant’s eyes narrowed. “You don’t want to fight, hm?” Well. Two could play at that game.
Quietly, she summoned her bell into her own hand, returning the page’s look. “I am not leaving, but I do wish that you would. And for Pete’s sakes, stop calling this ‘ye olde library’. You sound like a fool.”

Odain sighed, "So you're just going to steal their books? Their money? There's people that work here. You'd probably cause the place to be shut down for days breaking in here. What are they going to do for a pay check?" She didn't care how stupid she sounded. She was worried about what sort of damage was going to be caused.
The knight tapped the arrow against her head, "I ain't stupid. I know ya'll like energy but I'm pretty sure there's a good number of you ruffians that would steal someone blind too. At the very least you could've went through a window and not been so obvious in breaking in. Or I wouldn't be Patronizing you for trying to break in."
"The police would." The woman pointed out, as she moved closer towards the door to see what sort of damage the negaverse agent had done to it.
She paused when Bellite's bell appeared, " . . . okay I don't feel so bad for having a random arrow now." She stuck her tongue out at the woman. "Oh in case you didn't notice, I won't leave until you leave." When Odian was closer to the door and Bellite she poked the other woman with the arrow in the side. It wasn't at all sharp, thankfully. In fact it was probably more annoying than being poked in the side with a finger.

It was really all that the lieutenant could do not to start laughing when the page mentioned that people worked here. Yes. She knew that. She was one of those people. Ugh. Maybe she should just see if Sanidine was available to teleport her inside of the library, then she could grab her stuff and go home to bed.
And she was thinking of doing just that when the pesky woman jabbed her…in the side with…the dumb little stick that she had.
What? What was even the purpose of that other than annoying her to death?
Well. It worked to some extent. Before Bellite could stop herself she had raised her bell and given the knight a good sharp thwap on the head. And her bell was kind of heavy…so she hoped it hurt.
“Would you just leave me alone. Go away. I am doing literally nothing that bothers you in the slightest so…”
She hesitated for only a moment. “Get lost before you make me really angry.”

Odain gave a bit of a surprised yelp, when the other thwacked her on the head. She paused looking at Bellite who actually smacked her with the bell.
"What's so important in that library you want to break in!? I swear like half of you guys that I meet are nuttier than a port-a-potty at a peanut festival."
She crossed her arms, she wasn't going anywhere. While she hated it for Bellite it wasn't something she could do. At least not until she knew what was so important in there. "Are there people in there you're just going to gank starseeds out of or what . . .?"

Bellite didn’t even know how to respond to this woman’s newest choice phrase. And for a moment she just gaped at her, then shook her head slowly. “Nuttier than a port-a-potty…at a peanut festival…what are you some sort of backwater twit or something? Maybe you should pack up and move back to the sticks, honey bunch.”
She realized though, that it would be more prudent to just…leave.
Leave and come back later when this annoyingly self righteous person was gone. Long gone.
Like, gone away forever. But, that was a foolish hope. People like this would always be around, and she would just have to deal with it…
If she had a better weapon…we…perhaps it would have been easier to deal with it.
For now, she would retreat. “Fine. Fine. If you want me gone from…” Up went the air quotes. “Ye olde library, you got your wish. Have a great night and go bother someone else for a while, okay?”
She turned and walked off, not bothering to see if she was being followed.
She’d come back in an hour or so and get her stuff. It was no big deal…and if the page was still there…well. She’d just call Sanidine. No big deal at all.

Odain watched the negaverse agent decide to finally walk off. . . . Maybe she should've used that a long time ago if that's what it took to make someone leave.
She shook her head at the air quotes though, pity. "Aww but bothering you has been fun. . . " Sans getting hit in the head the page thought.
It was something though, Odain waited for a little bit before shrugging and finally walking off the other way. Hey, it could've gone worse right?
