His meeting with a client had taken a bit longer than he'd expected and he'd promised himself he'd go out patrolling that night. Which meant that he found a nice rooftop with a dark corner to power up in rather than waiting until he got back to his usual area. He could at least head home by the long way and get some patrolling in even if it wouldn't be very good patrolling. Sometimes something was better than nothing. Hopping down off the building he dusted his hands off and scanned around. There were a few others in the area but nothing that looked like someone, or something, he could get in a fight with. There was another signal not too far away though and after figuring out the best direction he tucked his phone away and headed off. "Good thing there's more of us around now it seems." He mumbled to himself as he jogged toward the other signal.

The hour grew near to the dead drop time, but Scholomance knew better than to worry. Its impending arrival left him restless, however, and Scholomance found more use in spending some time over the city than puttering about in his condo. January bit through his uniform liberally and his breath fogged in passing.
Still he remained, if only for some time to clear his head. Schörl's demand came only last week, and he knew not how long he had to fulfill it. The Negaverse's scheming in this matter only went so far as the knight still had use, and once they wore him thin of his connections, they would terminate him in some form or another. The Negaverse proved a meat grinder to its allies and its denizens - and, naturally, the world. But which ending should he choose? What proved the best conclusion for him? His thoughts welled with successive questions for minutes on end, leaving him no pause to take in the outstanding atmosphere.
Which meant, as the super senshi encroached on his sensory sphere, he took little notice until he was nearly upon Scholomance.
For this, he felt both parts guilty and opportunistic. The knight, sitting on the parapet to a hotel under renovations, shot the new arrival a curosry glance. He hoped the senshi wasn't looking for help with the Negaverse. "Shitty weather for a jog, isn't it?" He asked of the other party, his tone bearing enough levity to belie a unique brand of humor.

As he'd gotten closer to the other signature he'd expected some sort of reaction and was a bit disappointed when nothing happened. At least as he slowed down and could actually see the other Senshi they actually acknowledged him. "Any weather is bad weather for a jog. If you're asking me." He paused a few paces away from the knight. The knight looked rather odd, rather more like a Negaverse agent, but his signature was friendly. Getting used to these knights was going to be a chore. "I am going to guess you are a knight? Where are you from ... power wise?" The dark colors and bones didn't remind him of anything he'd heard of before.

The senshi's returning greeting went without comment. "Yes, I'm a knight." The question itself suggested a certain newness to the senshi, whereas his rank did not. He never placed a great lot of stock in the frequency of his meetings with other knights, but he felt that he met knights and senshi both by the time he reached squire. Perhaps this senshi was simply unlucky in his liaisons wiith those of Order.
Or, perhaps he often avoided knights as Scholomance did for senshi. "Where am I from?" He cocked a brow at the question. Two answers accounted for it, and without knowing which, Scholomance chose to supply both. "My power is from Scholomance, which is on Saturn." The question sounded like something out of a survey - some impersonal piece of information collected from any given website, or every third stop to the coffee shop on the corner by his work. He knew nothing about the senshi asking, and volunteering such information felt almost pointless in the scope of his present situation. There likely wouldn't be a Scholomance in the coming weeks. Or, was this one working with the Negaverse as well? How ironic if it were so.
The looming meeting left him on edge, however, and Scholomance found less willfulness for controlling his burgeoning temper. So often he yearned to spit vitriol now, and the change still left him unsettled.
He continued with an acerbic edge. "Usually people start with introducing themselves and asking after names. But, I suppose, if you wanted to be as impersonal as possible, you're on the right track for it.
"So, you want to try again by maybe introducing yourself first?"

"Sailor Arsinoe." He raised a brow slightly at the knight's tone and for a moment wondered if his suspicion about the knight's uniform had been closer to the truth than he'd like. "Given your appearance you should suspect that some might be suspicious. Which is a good reason to be cautious." He wasn't usually one to introduce himself first and even less so when he wasn't entirely sure where someone else stood. Scholomance was a Knight, that was obvious from his power signature, but given his looks and his attitude... "It's not every day you see someone of Order walking around looking like they crawled out of the Negaverse." The knight almost looked like one of the more human youma with the various bones on his uniform and the darker colors. He looked far too much like a Negaverse agent to not give Arsinoe pause.
