Niflhel had fled from the hallow ground of the earth. He had grown weary of his searching, as nothing had turned up fruitful. Instead, he'd turned to his wonder. Maybe, it would help if he did something productive until he figure out a way to find her.
He had set foot on his wonder, in front of his office, at least he assumed that's what this was. It had his things, and it wasn't his house on the wonder. As he knew that distinctly, since it was filled with memories. There had been things from her he'd found. A picture sat there too.
He looked around softly he knew his way to the church where he'd made the decision to leave her. He'd done it because the cat had insisted; that had been the right thing to do. He played with the wedding ring on his hand before finally deciding to walk to the small Gothic church that sat on the outskirts of town. The knight wasn't horribly interested in his surroundings, as occasionally a memory or something would play. Them laughing and walking towards what looked to have been some sort of food vendor.
Him and her hiding from her guards in the alleyway kissing. Niflhel sighed he tried to ignore his head, or his wonder. Whichever it was, was this the torture he was here to endure? It was more painful than he wanted to admit.
If only she were here. He wanted to hug her again, touch her face and give her a kiss. Play with her hair, he stopped realized he was watching them together on what might have been considered a date, talking. They held something that was obviously food, maybe some sort of roasted nut? He swallowed softly as he watched. She was still just an eternal senshi here, she hadn't been ripped away from him in the past. She was still there, his light to brighten his day.
Now . . . now she was just a memory. Where had she gone, his face twitched. He was trying to keep the tears from his eyes as his wonder seemingly tortured him. He shook his head as he walked through the memory. They were from different times, nothing he'd actually seen on any visits here. How often where they together in the past? How long did they actually last?
He had finally made it to the graveyard. He wasn't sure what he was expecting. However, the visions lay silent; no memories of the past where they broke up. Where the cat had talked him into it. He sat on the stone bench as he was thinking about these memories though they wouldn't show themselves.
Niflhel wasn't sure if he was thankful for that, or if he was more disappointed? What had he really expected? To torture himself watching them break up.
They were married now, but yet the cosmos seemed to tear them apart. He looked at the ipod he had with him. He knew a normal cellphone wouldn't work here. He flicked through the songs before he found one and started playing it. He stretched out on the bench, laying on his back - eyes watching the Saturn Night Sky dance as he listened to the song.
After a few times on repeat, the knight was singing along softly but he was also slowly nodding off. Trying not to cry over the fact he was missing his princess and didn't have anything more than a memory. "Sometimes a memory ain't enough~." He whispered as he fell silent and asleep.
It'd be hours before he woke, startled by some night terror. Causing him to panic and wonder where he was, looking for his bride who wouldn't be found. The realization she wouldn't be there, possibly ever again . . . Stung.
