Rhea was knew she probably shouldn’t be so far away from home, usually she didn’t stray past the high school, but she was pretty fast when she powered up, so made her way to the park tonight. She was tempted to call one of the team to patrol with her, but sometimes she felt like the odd one out because she was 13 and the age gap was an odd one. They were like, she didn’t know, her brothers age?
She probably could have called Hugbell, but it seemed quite for the moment. If anything bad happened she would definitely give the senshi a ring. She did think though she could at least handle youma on her own. Her magic was neat and useful and she took Methone’s suggestion to heart about cheerleading and gymnastics being helpful as a senshi. She was strong and nibble and she doubted many youma would survive a backhand spring to the face. She was just have to be careful about landing.
She wasn’t tiny anymore either, having had a growth spurt just after her 13th birthday and grew 5 inches in a matter of months. She was 5’2” now and that was helpful when go up against people twice her age, at least she was like a foot smaller than some of them anymore.

Huntite had been out and about working on building up his energy quota for the past hour or so, being sure to work as subtly as he could seeing how he had to touch people to drain them. So far he had been doing a decent job and hadn’t sent anyone screaming for the police, nor had he drawn any attention from any passing by Order be they Senshi or Knight. Both cases being a win in his book, though he wouldn’t turn down a fight, it was just annoying to lose the energy he gathered if he was attacked before he could put it away.
He had just finished collecting energy from some random person who decided to use a back alley to get home when he started to feel a Senshi’s signature at the edge of his awareness and he was quick to jump onto a rooftop. He looked in the direction of the energy signature with a calculating look on his face, debating on whether he should hunt down the Senshi of if he should just leave them be and continue gathering energy for the Negaverse if the Senshi does the same in return.

Rhea frowned when she felt the signature of the negaverser and looked around wondering where it was coming from. Even years later, she still wasn’t use to the energy signature thing, but she did know the bad icky feeling of the other side. She didn’t have much experience with them preferring to avoid them all together. She’d been apart of three public attacks before she even made it high school and they were just really bad news.
She turned and started moving away from the signature, or she thought she was until she realized it seemed clearer now than it had been before she frowned. She bet the other could feel her too. She would have to be careful. She summoned her phone and stared at it, debating calling for backup, but decided it would just be worth it to try to get away.
She moved again, this time away, she was sure of it.

Well that solved that thought. Huntite tucked the energy away as he felt the Senshi getting closer then started to move towards it in return, not one to just let his enemy come to him. It wasn’t long before he was close enough that he could probably see the Senshi soon, however now the Order member’s signature was heading away from him. “You want to play, you don’t want to play. Make up your mind.” He said to himself as he paused for a moment, clearly having spent too much time with Kit to have been saying something like that, then darted after the signature.
He had come this far and geared himself up for a fight there was no way he was going to just let the Senshi chicken out like that. At least that was his thought process until he actually saw the tiny girl. Bright colors, short(at least in his point of view), and clearly a chibi Senshi. He came to a stop and scowled slightly. Who the hell decided that pulling in babies into this war was a good idea again?

Rhea frowned when it seemed the other signature was headed for her now because even though she was moving away it seemed to be getting stronger. The signature was almost on her in a matter of moments and she turned to see an negaverser in army fatigues standing not to far from her. She frowned because those army fatigue shouldn’t provoke fear … this guy was like a falsehood. He was a bad guy in an outfit you wouldn't normally associate with bad.
“You make our country look back in that,” she said not really thinking about the possible consequences of insulting a negaverser. Her mother often said she was far too sassy, but her mother also said it was partially her fault for letting her be so as little kid.
“Making people think you're protecting our country when you're just doing bad things every night.”

The scowl he had on his face dropped when the little girl looked at him. It wasn’t her fault she had been tricked into the war for the wrong side. Huntite gave the chibi Senshi a smirk and a shrug, more amused by the sass then anything. “No I make the world safer from those who wish to invade it, even if I have to do some questionable things to do so.” He said and crossed his arms. “Shouldn’t you be home in bed little girl? It’s not safe out here on your own.” While he didn’t truly mean it as a threat he put in a threatening tone to his words in hopes that it would frighten the girl to staying home and out of the war.

Rhea scowled at him, “.... riiiigghhhhhhtttttt safe … okay if thats what you need to tell yourself. Safe from invaderse … geez even I know there’s no one really out there … cept some monsters … but you guys unleash them on the city all the time.”
She put her hands on her hips cocking her little hip to the side and frowning at him, “... im not a kid … I’m a teenager … there’s a difference …. Honeeessstttllllyyy.” Rhea shook her head, not even picking up on the potiental threat. She knew she wouldn’t be out alone, she did, and she should have called Hugbell or one of the team, but she didn’t and now she was sassing off at the mouth the one of the bad guys. “I’ve been doing this forever,” she said softly looking at the other. She hardly ever kept to a bed time, in years.

“Think what you will but some of us have the true story of what happened a millennia ago and we remember it.” He said shaking his head. He wasn’t here to try and get her to change sides, it wasn’t even possible at this stage anyway, so he wasn’t going to argue with her. His smirk made a reappearance at her stance though. “You are a kid, practically a baby. Do your parents know you are out alone in this city? After all there are all the terrorist attacks to worry about.” He took a step close to her, using his height to look down on her. “Then you should know better. Go home before you get hurt little girl.”
Quote:
“As if you could possibly know the true story, from a millennia … what’d you do? Talk to a ghost … read it in a magic book … I doubt it.” She pursed her lips at him because she’d never seen or heard anything about this so called war and lord did she learn enough about wars in school. She really believed this guy was pulling her leg or thought she was stupid or something.
“I’m not afraid of you,” she said when he stepped closer to her, but her voice quivered and she stepped back. “Don’t threaten me … I can take care of myself, but I’ve got people looking out for me too!”
She was worried he was going to hurt her and she needed to call for help … why did she have to sass off like that???
She was poised to attack little fists clenched, if he got any closer, she’d hit him with her magic and then hopefully she could call for help.

“Well we do have the Queen that lived during those times. So less a ghost and more of an ancient being I suppose.” Huntite said with a careless shrug. “First hand experience is much more reliable than spotty, fragmented memories.” Granted he knew well that just having one person’s perspective means there were plenty of bias, but he also knew that the victors wrote the history so he wouldn’t trust any Order person if they tried to say anything about any possible files they had saved of the past war.
At the chibi’s sentence he laughed mockingly and stepped even closer, figuring that it wouldn’t take long for her to run off in fear with the way her voice shook. “I’ll threaten you all I like, I don’t see anyone here to help you, anyone who is looking out for you. You are alone out here and clearly with no back up for miles around.” He kept himself straight so as to show off his full height as an intimidation tactic. “What do you think I could do to you before anyone could even power up to come find you?” Not that he would actually do anything besides maybe tie her up and leave her somewhere safe but she didn’t know that.

Queen?!? Seriously … no she didn’t believe they had some ancient queen who lived a millennia ago … no one could live that long. If that was possible than she doubt people wouldn’t use it their advantage. And what … were they like fighting forever because that was crazy … one would thing the Queen would have just called it quits by now.
“It must take a whole lot a craziness to keep losing for a millennia and not gain any common sense,” she said in a less sassy tone. No Rhea was 100 percent totally serious.
He threatened her again and she frankly didn’t want to know what he could or would do to her. No, she was getting out of here asap, like now. “Little Giggles,” she shouted, throwing arms in an arch and watching as the gust of wind blew out over him and she took a few quick steps back to him, not really sure the magic worked she hadn’t used it very often.

“Oh we haven’t actually been fighting for the entire time of course.” He said then gave her a smirk. “And who says we have been losing Little One? This city is the only one with any Order members in it. Don’t believe me? Ask a grown up.” Granted there could very well be Senshi and Knights who are outside the city, more than likely in fact, however they weren’t active and any resistance outside of Destiny City had been taken care of as far as he was aware.
However before he could say anything else or threaten her again her magic hit him, with Huntite not haven’t dodged even a little bit since he was expecting her to run not attack. “And just what is that supposed to-*giggle*” He started to mock her when nothing happened but as soon as he started to move even a little bit he was trying to fight back laughter. Of course the movement of the laughter was enough to keep the laughter coming so he couldn’t move straight at the moment. He did however try to force himself to attack her even through the magic in hopes that would be the catalyst that sent her packing. The kick he sent her way was however well off base when he had been aiming to only just barely miss her in a threat he instead went even wider from her.

Rhea was shocked to hear that there weren’t any senshi outside of the city, since they were all over the city, it made her less inclined to believe him. Though that also had much to do with how condescending his tone was in his insistent or trying to make her feel like a frightened little child. She was frightened by him a little, more than a little, but that didn’t mean she was going to piss her pants for it. She could handle her own at least a little bit.
She was surprised to see the effect of her magic on a person … it seemed to work even better than on a youma. She blinked and then she was laughing herself at him very failed attempt to kick her. She realized though, if he was trying to kick her, he was probably really going to go for her once the magic wore off so she kicked him hard to one of his ankles with her strong little legs. She would have to thank her mother tomorrow for make her take gymnastics all these years because even without skill she could kicked pretty hard.
“Take that,” she said sticking her tongue out at him, “that’ll teach you go threatening people.” She turned and ran after that, but she was ready to throw another dose at him, should he give chase.

It would be really helpful to know when exactly the magic would wear off but since Huntite didn’t have the luxury of said knowledge, he just had to hope it wore off soon and try to fight, i.e. scare her off, the best he could through it. However he knew that scaring her at this point would be harder seeing how she started to laugh at his reaction to her magic. He was gearing up to try and throw a punch her way, aimed slightly to the side of her of course, when she landed the kick on his ankle. Between her strength and the fact that he couldn’t stop laughing enough to be stable lead him going down hard on his rear end. Thankfully he didn’t have to do anything beside sit there and try to breath through the laughter since the chibi made a quip then started to run off.
If it looked like she would head back he would chase her off when the magic was done. If she stayed away he was more then happy to leave her alone so he wouldn’t get a second dose of the giggles thank you very much. He would of course, never speak of this to anyone besides Benitoite to let someone know what her magic actually was. Witherite would never, ever, hear of this encounter.

Rhea kept running without looking back, right up until he disappeared from her radar. She only stopped when she out of the park. She didn’t need to run anymore after that, she ducked into an alley and decided to call it night. She shuffled through the allies making her way closer to where she could power down. She was proud of herself though because she used her magic on a negaverser and it worked really well. She even got a good kick in. She was definitely going to have to tell Hugbell!
