Jax was out int he training field as he was practicing his sword combat again, not wanting it to go rusty also to keep his skills fresh since anything can happen and war could break out at any time. Jax had to be ready to defend his king, after all if it wasn't for the king he would still be trying to steal from other dragons from village to village just trying to survive everyday. But now he has a new life and new purpose to live, he didn't want to leave that life. No one in the knights order were holding a sword as big as Jax's, other knights joke around telling him that only knights of fairy tales would hold gigantic swords like he was holding, but he was determined to make it work, and through a lot of training he did. He was able to swing the giant great sword as if it was a short sword, many knights did not want to spar against him because his sword weighed so much and just blocking it was suicide. Jax spun around while holding his giant sword in one hand, as he spun like a tornado, then through that momentum he stopped and swung his sword into 5 training dummies and cut them in half. Being satisfied with his cutting method he stabbed the ground with his sword then sat up against it, panting heavily he looked up to the semi clouded sky as he rested to catch his breath.

Since the sun was out he didn't know who just up besides him holding the cup of water so he took it without realizing who it was. "Ah thanks." Jax took the cup from her and took a quick drink from it and took a nice and loud sigh of hos refreshing that was, but then when he looked to see that it was the princess, he could of responded in two ways. One way was to act normally like he always did with all the royals, but every time he did that his superior officers would always hit him telling him that a knight could never address a crown princess in that way. The second way was to greet her like a princess like any other knight would, looking around he saw that there were no one watching him so he looked up at her and grinned. "Oh little one! I didn't expect you to give me that cup of water. Please just call me Jax." Jax said as he stood up as he towered over her, he fanned his shirt hearing her request of going with her outside of the kingdom, frowning he folded his arms answering. "Shouldn't you go to your parents about that and get their permission? I would happily go but unless you were given the ok from your parents I don't know what they would say if you left without them knowing. What do you need to do?" Jax asked as he was curious to what a crown princess of her status would have to do outside of the kingdom.

After hearing her reason and wanting to keep it a secret from both of her parents he folded his arms as he frowned at her, even though as a knight he should just bow his head and obey, he had that lowborn attitude of his still with him so he questioned this. With a sigh he placed his hand on top of her head patting her head and replied. [b]"Yes I shall accompany you to your destination and whatever you need to get done little one." Jax then picked up his sword and placed it on his back and added. "Should I dress in my full armor for this trip or should I dress lightly? I assume we're not going far right?" Jax asked as he wondered if he should wear his full plate armor or just a light regular outfit with some light armor, maybe taking a regular sword rather than his regular sword. Jax waited for her answer as he made his way tot he showers to take a quick shower. "You can still talk little one I can hear you even through the shower." Jax said as he went to the outside showers int he training area while she spoke.

As Jex finished up he fried himself off and wore his regular cloths underneath as he came out fully dressed and said. "One moment let me put away from things." He went over to the armory as he placed on a chainmail over his shirt then wore another sweater over his chainmail, then he wore a left shoulder pad and left his giant sword int he armory for now. He then packed a long sword to his hip as he came out with some battle boots as well, he walked back over to the crown princess and said. "Alright little one I'm good to go, shall we?" Jax said as he waited for her to go first as he would follow up behind her, going where ever she went, but deep down he knew he was going to get scolded by the queen and the king for this, but for the crown princess he will obey. "So where are we going little one?" Jax asked as he wanted to know where they were going and if he had any additional information about the place they were going to.

Jax was surprised that she wanted to walk the entire way, he could turn into his dragon form and take her there easily, but then again he didn't remember the last time she turned into her dragon form, she went pretty crazy that day. As they walked throught he kingdom gates and eventually arrived at the country side she looked around as he saw many of the locals int he fields as they waved towards the princess, watching her wave back as he did as well. When he heard that the princess wanted to get her mom flowers from a different kingdom, this worried Jax, since they weren't on the best of terms with the other kingdoms other than the vampires. But if they were going south then that wasn't towards the vampire kingdom, but he was confident in protecting her. Jax then grinned as she talked of the forest being scary and dark, he decided to tease her a little bit with some false stories. "Oh yes that forest, I heard many tales of that forest. I believe it was called the Forest of Kahn. Many battles happened int hat forest and many people died in that forest, some say spirits and the dead still live in there." Jax then grew his tail out a bit secretly. "Some say once you enter that forest you never leave!" Jax then used his tail to suddenly push the princess, but not enough to make her fall over, more to scare her. After scaring her he would make his tail disappear and laugh out loud after seeing her reaction.

Jax chuckled as he walked along side her and said. "Don't worry so much little one, I'll be here to protect you." Jax said as he was asked to go first and stepped in front of her and started walking into the forest. "do you want to hold my hand little one?" Jax asked as he was still keeping his guard up just in case for whatever was going to come out of the forest. Since in the knighthood this part of the forest wasn't cataloged or kept track of so this was new territory for him.

Off int he forest there were a few eyes watching them from the trees, There were a total of three, they were dressed in black cloaks and masks as they veered in watching and stalking the princess and her knight. They remained silent for now, until the time was right, but one whispered to the other asking. "Thats the dragon crown princess isn't it?" One asked as the other responded quietly. "Yeah, I bet we can get ourselves a lot of money with her!" They all giggled to themselves as they continued to stalk them.
