A short break was in order after all the hassle of tracking down Carl all over the island and Rep decided to take it in the cafeteria. It was raining outside pretty ******** heavily so there weren't exactly a huge number of alternatives, the hoard was one but he'd need to get wet to get there.
As it was he was sitting eating a bar of chocolate and glaring at anyone around, he wasn't having a very good day so he decided he'd share it around.

Sleeping on a couch and working wasn't helping him sleep well or adapt to sleeping alone. Exhaustion was probably the best sleep aid he had these days and he spent the night in the labs workibg in a few things and catching not up on a repair backlog.
Yawning, he got some now-cold toast and coffee and spotted a plume of red further off. Making his way over, he eased himself into Rep's line of sight.
"Morning." Maybe. He checked his watch. "Afternoon." He corrected.

Rep gave Melvin a very wary sort of look.
"Morning." he said gruffly. He still wasn't entirely sure how he felt about the other man. "Can't sleep in your cushy apartment?"

"Cushy? I awkwardly borrow a couch." He corrected, not sure what Rep thought exactly.
"Was in the labs. Laid in a chair for a bit." He managed. Sometimes you could find a empty labroom and lay down on some chairs to catch a few hours. It was terrible on the back but it was something.
"How about you? You look tired."

And that seemed to be the end of the conversation as far as Rep was concerned.

You are a hunter, you could just ASK for a ******** room from the quartermaster. Easy. You are entitled to one. The only reason you'd stay with Jordan is if you were ******** him, end of." And he angrily looked away.

He breathed out. "Do you honestly think that Jordan is the type of person to 1 - screw random guys and 2 - screw me? You might not have a great opinion of me after everything, but you are also saying something about him if you really think that. He hasn't been with anyone all this time. You think he was just waiting for a mess like me to show up?"
He leaned back into the plastic chair. "I was debating with myself to move into town and that cost money. I wasn't even sure if I'd return back to his house after I left. I just needed a temporary place to clear my head. That's why I haven't been to the quartermaster yet." He decided not to mention that he was afraid of being alone in a dorm by himself. It probably wasn't what Rep wanted to hear.

"I don't know what anyone is capable of any ******** longer!" Rep snapped irritably, "No you and no ******** him, maybe you two became best buds and ******** while you froze me out. Don't you dare ******** act as if it's perfectly ******** logical that you wouldn't ******** him. You'd ******** him if he came onto you because you are desperate and on the ******** rebound and maybe he has, maybe he will out of spite at how Ace dumped him."
He didn't believe for a second that Jordan had been single since then, there was no way a guy as handsome and well mannered wouldn't have people throwing themselves at him the whole time, and he was often agreeable to it. The bitter thought of his recent dreams- Blue visiting the Bishop with dread tidings of s**t to come and a vulnerable gentleness - only made him colder and more bitter about it.
"You'd move the ******** out if you respected me. Even if you aren't ******** right now you are moving into the apartment of a guy who you ******** say hasn't had a shag in a year, what the ******** do you think will happen? You know what you are going for and ******** you. You are scum and I don't know why you keep ******** hurting me when I've already got so ******** much on my goddamn plate."

He remained somber and quiet as Rep bite back.
"If I moved out, would you still think we were ******** if we talked to each other or is any contact with Jordan going to be you thinking I'm ******** him. Does he need a damn STD test to prove it to you?"
It was sad to think that Jordan was hung up and hadn't been with everyone while Rep thought he was screwing arounf. He wanted to come to Jordan's defense but was it really his place?
