This town was peaceful, full of life and an age old testament to what once stood here. War. The woman who stood in the center of this settlement knew it quite well; it was why this place amazed her so. That where bloodshed and violence once took place, that life went on and was thriving in harmony. Evelyn closed her eyes, letting her ears take in the low hum of the town as it wasn't too crowded as she despised. As she was locked in her trance, twirling her parasol, she failed to notice small footsteps approaching her until those footstep were on the back of her dress. She snapped to attention when a small body had ran into the back of her leg; the woman turning to see a little girl who was now sitting on the ground. "Ow! S-Sorry!" the youngling quickly apologized as she picked herself up. "Caitlyn!" a man called out to the girl, making strides to get over to them in a hurry. "What have I told you about running?! Oh, I'm so sorry miss" he also apologize. "No, no, it's quite alright. I was in the way" Evelyn replied with a warm smile. Once the two carried on about their day, the traveler's smile would fade as she brushed her blonde hair behind her ear. He gaze would shift up to the highest building of the town as she recalled what brought her to the relic settlement.

Evelyn made her way to that structure, Oak Town Hall, also the residence of the local mayor. As she neared the front doors, they would part seemingly on their own; however, it was the shadows under her control that did all of the work, including slamming them shut behind the caster. The act would immediately catch the attention of the front desk secretary, but it was Evelyn who would speak first as she now stood before the woman. "Good evening, I'm here to see the...mayor, was it?" "O-O-Oh! Um...do you have an appointment? I can't just let you-" the secretary would start to say. The empress on the other hand, was not listening; instead she was looking around the building, her eyes perceiving any living thing with a pulse. "Ah! I believe I found them. I shall be on my way" she interrupted and proceeded on her way. "W-Wait! I said you ca- Mph!" The poor assistant would not utter another word as a hand of shadow covered her mouth. Several other hands would appear from the shadows to latch onto her arms and legs as she was violently pulled in. The guards who stood guard were immediately on alert of Evelyn's approach, having not been told of a visitor. "Halt! State your busine- Huh?! Aghhh!!!" Sadly, they too would meet the same fate as the girl once they stood in her way. It didn't take long before she found the mayor's office, seeing someone sitting inside by their lonesome. Opening the doors in a similar fashion as before, the blonde closed her parasol and entered the room to a man who seemed rather startled at her entrance. "Good evening. The mayor, I assume?" "Y-Yes, that's right! And who are you? I don't have any appointments at this time... And how did you get in here?!" Evelyn smiled with eyes shut, tapping her parasol on the ground. "Actually, it is you who has an appointment with me. Let's talk, shall we?" Again the shadows moved, slamming the doors behind her and shutting the blinds of every window.

XXX"Oi, by chance, have you see a young blonde sporting a parasol?" A question that Nebula found herself repeating religiously for the past hour or two, trying to locate her guild master in this damnable city. Everyone was so happy here, or rather, they were hellishly good at making it look like their lives were perfect; those kind of people pissed her off the most, Nebula's no different however. "Oh, you are looking for the sweet woman from before?" One man asked, cluttered by the annoying presence of two brats. After a quick exchange, the man pointed towards the tallest building in Oak Town. "Yeah, I saw her stare at that building, I suppose she knows the mayor?" He asked, which was more than enough information for Nebula to go by. "Yeah, I guess she does..." Nebula knew damn well she didn't.

The woman didn't look at anyone, or acknowledge any shoulders she may have brushed against on her way to the Oak Town Hall, she had more important matters to attend to than pay any notice to some random person. Once she entered the Town Hall, Nebula was hit with the familiarly eerie feeling of emptiness; not a soul stirred by the main entrance. Slowly, the woman walked towards the front desk, which looked like someone was there not too long ago, but vanished: No doubt the work of Evelyn. The young woman picked up a pencil from the front desk. After chipping off the Graphite, she dropped it on the floor, a loud 'click' followed. Her suspicions were confirmed, this place was sure-enough dead.

Using her own devices, Nebula began to walk around the building, trying to find any clue where the mayor's office could be. However, it didn't take too long for Nebula to know where her guild master was; the familiar voice echoed through the hallways, the sound coming from the two largest doors in the entire building. Initially, Nebula's first instinct was to barge in and aim her gun at the first person in there with Evelyn, but something stopped Nebula from touching he door knob. Rather, she stood outside the door, taking a seat by one of the waiting chairs, and folding one leg over the other. "She's grown, if she needed help, my card would have been flashing by now," the woman thought, pulling out her 'Help Evelyn Card," and staring at it. Nothing, not even a sparkle.

"What is this? You can't just walk in here! Guards!" the man shouted, calling for help. Evelyn rested on her parasol, using it as if it were cane, a soft smile gracing the alarmed man. As she took a step forward, the man jumped out of his seat, furrowing his brow and returned her look with a glare. "Now, now. There's no need for that. I only wish to speak with you..." her smile would quickly disappear, her eyes locking onto the mayor's with such tenacity; perhaps it was now that the man could feel how much danger he truly was in when he took another step back. "But you can make this very, very violent. I would not advise it... Now. Have a seat and we can begin our discussion" Evelyn would nod to him, urging him to do as he was told. The man was still hesitant, as if he was still looking for a way out of this, but for now would heed to his captor's orders. She too would take as seat in the chair just opposite of the desk, careful not to crumple her dress and keeping her knees together at an angle. Placing her parasol on her lap, she would once again give him that kind smile of hers.

Before she could start, the queen felt something amiss and could hear the sounds of clomping feet. Yes, she didn't feel it was necessary to clear the entire building; however, that now seemed to be causing a commotion that was heading this way. The mayor too heard the stomping and his expression seemed to relay that of ease. Evelyn would be quick to do away with that. "Not to worry. I can assure you there will be no one to interrupt us" she stated with confidence. And she did so knowing what, or rather who, stood between them and the doors at her back. Whenever she took her leave outside the castle, her Guild Ace was never far behind and she heard Nebula's arrival not long before the stomping. As it were, the gunner would be greeted by five men wielding swords and spears who wasted no time in surrounding her. "Halt! Don't move!" one would shout while another cautiously approached to apprehend her.

"Now then... My name is Evelyn Dharke, Empress of the Dharke Kingdom" she would finally introduce herself. The mayor seemed to be eyeing the door expectantly, but Evelyn would continue. "...As of late, I am in the process of rebuilding my empire. Alas, what is an empire without subjects to rule over? To be blunt, I will be taking Oak Town as stepping stone to restoring my kingdom." And now she had the mayor's attention, the man now looking at her with wide eyes. "I...beg your pardon? That's...preposterous! What makes you think the Council-" "Yes...that's where you come in. You are in charge of this town and As of now, I am in charge of you. You will serve me in my endeavors and by extension, Oak Town will belong to me. Honestly, it is not how I prefer to rule, but I am patient..." The mayor appeared to be dumbfounded and was speechless. Evelyn would give him a moment to process this, but only a moment.

XXXNebula tried her hardest to overhear the conversation on the other side of the door, which consisted of a masculine yell that possibly belonged to the mayor. She was curious; just why did Evelyn come here? Nebula couldn't remember the last time the woman left her castle, let alone to talk to some man. In a way, it made Nebula feel envious, why would Evelyn waste her time on a mortal? So, things became even more insufferable in a matter of minutes. A tiny army of about five men wielding swords and spears, approached the young woman with the intent of arresting, or killing Nebula if they were feeling merciful enough. With a disdainful sight, the young woman took a quick glance at each man, before looking directly at the one who told her to halt. "Have you ever taken something for granted?" The young woman asked, folding one leg over the other, and fluffing the frills of her dress.

The woman's question confused a few of the guards, while some maintained their fighting stances. "Kissing your child's forehead before you tuck them in for the night, the smell of your wife's hair as you hold her close, the moments spent with your closest friends at the bar, reminiscing of your days as perky but foolish recruits," the woman snapped her fingers, creating a wine glass filled with wine. With a dainty grin, the woman continued to look at the one who first spoke to her, "Why do you want to give that all up, are you that suicidal?" She took a sip of her glass, and rested her elbow on the chair's armrest. "Please don't make me kill you, don't you have people that will miss you if you are gone?" She raised a clean brow, and took a large sip of her drink, which seemed to remain at the same level.

The guards still crowded the woman, growing closer and closer to her, they weren't letting up. "You mortals are always trying to prove something..." She mumbled, effortlessly splashing the rest of her drink into one of the guard's faces. He pulled away, dropping his weapon to cover his face. The smell of burning flesh began to linger in the air as screams of agonizing pain filled the hallway. The other guards quickly turned to their comrade, some stiff in horror as they were literally watching the poor man writhe and cry in pain: The woman had thrown acid. Soon, the man fell onto his side, his face completely disfigured, it would be a miracle if he were still alive. "Some men just can't hold their wine, am I right?" The woman had nearly moaned as she spoke, completely entertained at what had just happened.

"You... b*****d!!!" One guard yelled, stabbing his blade into the woman's shoulder. However, before his blade made contact with the woman, Nebula pulled out a blank, plastic card from in between her breasts, and revealed the card to the man. Almost instantly, the man was sucked in, trapped within the glistening confines of the piece of paper. He began to scream out, tapping against the interior of the card to get out. Humming to herself, Nebula simply pulled out a lighter from her pocket, and held it underneath the card. The man inside, began to turn flushed from the head, beads of sweat dripping from his forehead as he began to call for mercy from the woman. "I've always wanted to do a magic trick," she confessed calmly, lighting the card on fire, and quickly waving her hands, the card vanishing before the other guard's eyes. "Tada- Oh." Before the woman could finish, two of the three remaining guards would thrust their spears towards her.

Swiftly, Nebula grabbed two of the spear head with her index fingers and thumbs, rising up from her seat. She didn't say anything, but her laughing was all that the other two men needed to know that something was horribly wrong. Slowly, from the tip on, the spear began to turn into solid gold, which shocked one of the men enough for him to let go. The other man was persistent, and tried his hardest to push his blade into the woman's hand. However, he stopped as he was no longer beginning to feel his arms. He, and the other men looked in horror to see that his arms had turned into pure gold, and so was the rest of his body. "No! W-what is happening?! I give up! Oh God, Oh Go-!" His final words were cut off once his mouth had turned into gold, along with the rest of his body. Soon, he had turned into a statue, his face forever twisted in horror.

"And then there were two," Nebula mumbled, dropping the other spear that was in her hand. "You all have such determination, such resolve, and that pisses me the hell off!" She yelled, quickly pulling out her pistol, and unloading the entire magazine onto one of the guard's legs. He quickly fell to the ground, not a chance to run away. He whimpered in indescribable pain... "It amazes me that you still are here..." Nebula turned to the last guard, walking up to him. Defeated and emotionally scarred, the guard fell to his knees in mercy. "Please, please have mercy..." he cried quietly, bowing towards the woman. "I have a wife and child, what would they do without me?" The question didn't phase Nebula, rather, it only made her sign in pity. She loaded her gun, and pointed it towards the man's head in an execution style. "You should have picked a safer job then..."

                                                        BANG.

                                                        ...

The mayor was still at a loss for words, a loss for options and judging by the commotion just outside those large doors, he was at a loss for hope. That commotion was like music to Evelyn's ears; the song of a futile resistance being stomped out and ushering in her new rule. Although by the look on the mayor's face, he still struggling to accept it, much to the annoyance of the empress. "Mr. Mayor... I do believe I told you we were having a discussion. I have only told you what I expect of you going forward; however, that is not all what we're here to discuss" she informed him, the man looking up with a confused expression on his face as if to convey "What else does she have to say?!" "I would say that I can be a merciful queen. After all, I came here myself to ask you in person. I intend to make this town mine and I intend to have your cooperation. Either you can do as I say and follow my orders or... I can give you a slow, agonizing death in which I violently drain your body of blood and watch as it slowly fails to sustain your life. Then I would puppet your corpse to do my bidding, parading it around this town of yours as I see fit. The question is: Do you want to live?" she politely asked, that smile of hers, as Sir Mayor had finally come to feel uneasy about, sending chills down his spine.

Again there was silence between the two of them, Evelyn displaying her patience yet again. Then finally, the newly appointed servant would respond "Wh...What would you...have me do? I'm the mayor...but the town council has a say in how the town is run too. How can I explain..." At this, Evelyn would then express her impatience, her brow furrowing and a scowl taking place. 'Council this, council that. Too many voices, not enough action' her thoughts coming to the forefront of her mind. But she was careful not to lose her cool, take a breath as she tapped her parasol. No...this was not a problem. Upon her entrance to the building, she got a good look at all the people in the building: their blood outlines, that is. "Would your council...be the group downstairs?" "Wha-? Yes, but, how-" "Skal, dear?" she would call aloud, knowing her ever present guardian was always within range. She would wait for the man to enter before telling him what she wanted. "Our new Steward here is feeling the pressures of his new role. His former colleagues are creating a bit of a burden for him... Could you be a dear and "talk" some sense into them. I believe they're downstairs?" the blonde would instruct Skal. The mayor who was smart enough to read between the lines could only stare in horror...

It was rather enjoyable, being a Monster that is. You didn't have to follow society's laws or morals, you could kill people who you did not like, eat whatever you wanted, and depending on your strength no one could tell you what to do. A certain Werewolf did enjoy such pleasures, but there was one thing he did not include in these pleasantries and that was not having anyone tell him what to do and he did so happily. Evelyn was like a Mother to him, a true one at that. He would do anything to please her, if she wanted him to remove his own head he would do so gladly and even do it over a platter for her. She had taken him in, she had given him a purpose, she had showed him how a Family truly be and for that he will be forever grateful. So when he had heard her calling for her faithful Bodyguard, Skaldevo had darted from his hiding place, a tree that was a good far range away from the town that would still allow Skaldevo to hear her. Each and every running step was loud and left a deep print on the ground. Within a few minutes, even the Mayor should be able to hear them as their pace picked up. Just as he was ten feet away from the building, his legs would suddenly buff up considerably as he crouched down and then jumped forward, crashing through the wall of the room his Lady and the Mayor were in. What was in the middle of the room was lanky young man with silver spiky hair, a red and black outfit, and a white scarf. One outside of Broken Crown could never think that someone this skinny and lanky would be able to smash through a wall and be completely unscathed and hold such a stoic face after doing such. Turning around, Skaldevo had faced his Lady, awaiting orders and once he had received them, he would nod before heading downstairs with a slow walk.

This man had obviously been getting in Lady Evelyn's way and for that he would be heavily punished. He only wished that he could inflict pain upon the Mayor himself, but he would have to settle for his council. As he reached the final step, the council looked at this lanky man in fear as they could only assume he was the cause of the ruckus upstairs. None of them were worthy of even a Partial Transformation, if they looked stronger or had a semblance of magic then Skaldevo would consider at least using some claws, but from the looks of it they were just normal humans. What followed next would be a slaughter, screams of agony and fear, blood occasionally spurting to the upper steps, and many more horrific things. The Werewolf had started with simply dashing and grabbing one of the councilmen and smashed his nose and mouth into Skaldevo's knee, the sound of his nose breaking along with his teeth was the start of all this. Skaldevo had then proceeded to liberate his head from his lower jaw with his bare hands and quite easily at that. The next Councilman would find himself stabbed into a wall with Skaldevo's right forearm all the way into his abdomen and into the wall but before he could scream the Werewolf had completely bitten his throat out, leaving Skaldevo's mouth bloodstained as he spat out what he had bitten out and removed his hand from the second corpse's body, causing it to slid down the wall. The Bloodied Werewolf then dashed to a Councilmen who was on the ground, trembling and knowing he was going to die but deeply hoped he would get to live but of course such a miracle would not come. Skaldevo jumped into the air just above the man before punching his head straight into the floor, the punch completely caving in the man's face and causing the foundation to shake.

There was one more of the Council left and Skaldevo had a idea of what to do with this one. He would break each of his joints before forcibly dragging the last one by his hair all the way upstairs. Once he was in the same room as Evelyn and the Mayor, Skaldevo held the man up by his head, his fingers completely outstretched over the man's cranium. Tears were flowing from his pleading eyes as Skaldevo pointed his face towards the Mayor's direction. "W-Wait please! I-I-I'll leave this town!! I'll become a farmer and you'll never see me again! Please just let me live!!! I-I'm going to be a father next week so plea-" Before another word could be said Skaldevo had completely crushed the man's head before throwing his body at the Mayor's feet. If the noises and the death before him made anything clear it was that Broken Crown was not to be trifled with and if he further displeased Lady Evelyn he would become Skaldevo's next victim. This Werewolf did not stand for anyone who got in Evelyn's way, not even were it to be someone he was in love with. One could say he was brainwashed, but it was nothing of the sort, he was simply among the most loyal creatures on Earth Land.

Around her, the corpses of the guards, excluding the one who was burnt alive in Nebula's card dimension, were scattered around the woman, their pockets picked and eyes open in horror of their last few minutes breathing. Things were quiet, but not for long. "Hmmm," Nebula looked up from her gun as she was Skaldevo walk inside the mayor's office, holding a weak-looking mortal in his hands. Followed by a few pleads of mercy, an echoing crush radiated from the office, to the hallway where Nebula was waiting. Slowly, the woman got up, strapping her gun to her garter belt, and peaking to the door from the hallway, "I hope you didn't splatter any blood or brains on milady's dress, or so help me Skal," the woman mumbled, her voice playful, but words sincere. Nebula looked at the mayor, scratching her cheek as she made herself more visible. "Were you the one that sent those guards?" She calmly asked, a hand on her hip, "The weight of your sins on your shoulders, they're dead because of you." She grumbled, finally turning to Lady Evelyn with a bow. "I'm sorry for interrupting your meeting, my fair lady..."

Not a word from Skaldevo as the man went off to accomplish the task he was given. He never failed to impress Evelyn with his level of loyalty; however, the mayor found it terrifying. She uttered not a word, sitting and waiting to hear word of the task completed. It was not long before she would not only hear, but bear witness to the deed; Skal dragging one of the men back to the room with him. As he held him by the head before the mayor, Evelyn lifted her parasol and opened it toward the two, well aware of what was coming. And it was just in time as no sooner was the poor councilman's head popped, his blood splattering over the office. The mayor stared in horror, lacking the ability to turn away as his colleague was pleading for his life and ultimately killed with relative ease. He jumped up from shock as the blood has splashed onto him. The blonde would smirk upon hearing Nebula's comment, knowing how displeased she would've been had that happened; in addition to Neb having to fight getting the stains out. As the middle aged gentleman, he remained frozen in his standing position with that stunned look and blood on his face; the Ace's comments going in one hear and out the other. "No, no. It's quite alright, Nebula. I believe our meeting here is done."

The empress rising from her seat, she would close her parasol once more, tapping it on the ground to gently shake the blood off. "Your orders 'mayor' are to continue as you were. We were never here, understood? At a later date, I shall have a young lady come to conduct business with the townsfolk. You would do well to make her job as easy as possible" Evelyn now instructed the man who responded with a soft "yes". With another smirk, she would bid him farewell before stepping out into the hallway. She looked around at the carnage Nebula alone had done and then looked back into the office. Shaking her head, she would let out a small sigh as she began to peel off her glove. "So messy, you two. Now who will clean this mess, hm?" she asked rhetorically. From the shadows, the three people Evelyn had captured earlier would be returned to this world, no longer living. The looks on their faces would suggest they died of fright and a lack of oxygen. Blood would seep from the pores on her hand as she targeted the three of them as well as the two men Nebula had shot to death. The five of them would slowly rise to their feet, revived under Evelyn's command. "Clean up the mess around here and resume your duties in serving the mayor." The corpses would salute before getting to work, moving the bodies first. "Well then...shall we be heading home?"

The Werewolf was one who was always pleased so long as his Lady was pleased with him. Whatever the task was, not matter how small it was, so long as she was happy with his progress then Skaldevo couldn’t be happier. However he would have a small panic attack, while it was not visible in the slightest it was certainly there. He was careless, very much so as he did not account the splash zone of blood after crushing that man’s head. If a spec had gotten onto Lady Evelyn’s dress and if by chance she was displeased by such a thing then it was likely Skaldevo was going to have a mental breakdown. The idea of displeasing Lady Evelyn terrified Skaldevo, he didn’t want to be punished again by someone he called Mother. At this moment he had begun to remember things from that time, from that hell he called a childhood. It was a especially rainy day during the fall, he had be given the task of hunting down several village children his mother had captured. If he did not then it would be a full night of slow torture for him, leaving the Werewolf no choice. Skaldevo had commenced the hunt for the children his age, doing so mercilessly. The first child had claws slash down his body, the second child was ran through with Skaldevo’s fist, but the last one Skaldevo had hesitated to kill, it had only taken twenty seconds before Skaldevo killed the child. This hesitance was incredibly displeasing to his mother who would torture him later that night, even more severely than if Skaldevo killed none of them. The torture went on until the next afternoon and by that time Skaldevo had grown all the more afraid and hateful of his Mother.

He eventually came out of his flashback as Lady Evelyn had reassured them that the mess was of no trouble. Skaldevo dared not let out a sigh for he was worried that Lady Evelyn would worry for him. She was too perfect to show worry for someone as small as he was. The Werewolf could only watch in stoic wonder at how well Lady Evelyn handled the now blood stained Mayor. He was in her hands now and once Lady Evelyn caught a hold of a pawn, there was no hope for them to escape. He also enjoyed the walking corpses she created, it was very enjoyable. How blood escaped their pores, their mindlessness, and their loss of free will was absolutely enjoyable. As his Lady asked if they should go home, her faithful bodyguard would only nod as he followed her the second she started walking.

XXXNebula straightened her posture, one hand to her hip, the other to the back of her head, feeling around to make sure she had her hair tie still wrapped around her ponytail; unfortunately, it seemed like it had snapped in the mist of Nebula's tussle with those guards, that explained why her hair seemed more wild than usual. That was the least of Nebula's concern however, apparently, Evelyn had made a few ties with the obviously-frightened mayor; and it was no surprise that the girl Evelyn was mentioning, was no other but Broken Crown's infamous drug dealer, Lily. It appeared that if Nebula didn't step up her game soon, Lily may end up being the bread winner of the guild.

As the trio exited the area, Nebula had finally remembered about the dead bodies she had left behind, how careless of her. She had felt guilty for allowing Evelyn to clean up her mess, but it did not stop her from showing her gratitude with a stoic "Thank you." From that point on, Nebula made a personal goal to practically be Evelyn's hands, to not allow her to lift a finger unless Evelyn truly wanted to. "Whenever you are ready, my fair lady," Nebula responded, glancing at Evelyn for a moment. "I was recently informed today by one of my bunny girls, that a special shipment of exotic teas from personal merchants of mine, arrived," she informed.

"Your selection of teas for when you return: Orange jasmine tea, Oolong tea, Da-Hong Pao and last but not least, a Prince of Wales tea blend," she listed, making sure to not forget anything. "Oh, I also had your teacup replaced with a new one, as one of my bunny girls found an inexplicable stain that just wouldn't come off no matter how much bleach we used..." With her Arc of Embodiment, Nebula had created a perfect replica of the tea cup to present to Evelyn. "A Royal Albert Violet & Gold Chintz China Tea Cup and Saucer Teacup Set, the best tea set money can buy, for the best ruler in all the universe, of course." Effortlessly, Nebula made the cup vanish in thin air.

"Now for your afternoon snack, I will prepare you a strawberry parfait for this warm weather, though if you so desire," Nebula tied her hair back with a hair tie that she made created her magic, forming her long hair into a large bun. "I will prepare your usual strawberry shortcake with buttercream frosting, layered with the freshest strawberries money can pick, as you deserve nothing but absolute perfection." She moved her bangs from her list, addressing the rest of her plans for the afternoon. "Last but not least, if you desire, I will draw your bath with lavender bath salts and your essential oils infused in your bath. I will see to it that there's no traces of that mayor or of his furniture on your clothing. I will have every white bleached, and every violet color, enhanced."

Nebula was never used to serving for someone else; if she were told in the past that this is what she would be doing in the future, she would have laughed about it. However, this gave Nebula purpose, whether they were chores for Evelyn, or specific missions that required her to sacrifice her comfort. Nebula just needed something to make her feel like life is worth living, and she had Evelyn to thank for doing just that.

Evelyn would lead the way for her two subordinates, back to the front entrance of the building. Leaving the five thralls here to clean up as well as resume their everyday lives would help lower suspicion of what really went on here. The best part of the thralls is that would continue to live their normal lives as well; none the wiser to anyone, as if they never even died. The Mayor was now in the palm of her inescapable hands which would allow her to move forward with their plans. Standing before the doors, they part just the same as the first time she passed them; the queen reopening her parasol once more to receive the welcoming light of the sun. She stepped outside and peered out at the town that unbeknownst to it, was under the control of Broken Crown. This town and its citizens would come to serve them as a foothold in conquering this kingdom; it becoming a fortress of sorts to combat the army of Fiore. It truly brought a smile to the woman's face, thinking of what this place would become in the near future. To start with, she would need to get Lily here to work here "magic". Her ability to make people subservient with her concoctions was nothing short of incredible and would help in bending the town to her will.

As she was entertained with her own thoughts, she was most pleased to hear of Nebula's news. She was already pining for a cup of tea upon their return and she had a fresh selection of exotic ones to try. "Prince of Wales... No, the Da-Hong Pao?" Evelyn repeated, trying to decided on which to try first. All of them had peaked her interest so she would taste them all eventually. Her chipper mood would tone down a little; however, upon learning her favorite tea cup had sustained a stain. She was fond of that one; the Vintage Scalloped Lavender and Pearl Bone China Teacup was one she had since she was a child. After all these years, it seemed this was bound to happen eventually. But this new one, both similar and different in ways, was absolutely stunning. She couldn't help but reach out and touch the cup in Neb's hand before she whisked it away. "Thank you, Nebula, it's beautiful! I will put it to use posthaste with... Orange Jasmine?" she questioned, still undecided. While she was still trying to figure that out, her Ace was already preparing a snack to go along with it. Strawberries were her favorite after all, so a strawberry shortcake sounded heavenly to her. It was made to sound so appetizing that she was now looking forward to having a slice. Then she could enjoy a nice bath drawn to her liking while her clothes are cleaned. Honestly, there was no telling who sat in that chair before her. "Yes please. I think I'm done wandering outside the castle for today. Let us be off." With a flick of her wrist, she would summon the shadows to converge before them, creating an entryway of sorts. Stepping inside of the murky abyss, it would shrink down and close, retreating into the static shadows, moving quickly and silently back to the castle.

The Werewolf had behind Evelyn, but refused to step on her shadow. Everything was great about her, her looks, her scent, her voice, her personality, there was not a single thing Skaldevo disliked about his Lady. If there was anyone who ever thought as such, and there likely was, Skaldevo would give them the most agonizing death imaginable. If you said Skaldevo was loyal to Evelyn, It would be a grand understatement; this Werewolf was so incredibly loyal to her that he believed it to be an insult to walk next to her with her permission and stepping on her shadow would be a even larger one. She must be protected, her image must be protected, her dreams must be protected, what she stood for, and of course the things that she cared deeply for. He was jealous of Nebula, he wished he was brave and worthy enough to care for Lady Evelyn and be by her side without need of permission.
