Personality:
Derek is stand offish and very sarcastic. But if he truly cares for you, he might pick on you a bit. Derek is level headed and focused in emergencies, and is fun to actually sit down and talk with. When he's in a good mood, of course. He hates pity stories and drama, so don't even bother trying.
Bio: (1-2 paragraphs)
Derek graduated med school in his mid twenties. He worked as an intern all the way up to chief of surgery, specializing in neurosurgery before the promotion. Dr.Shepherd worked in the same hospital before eventually retiring his position from said hospital, after a horrific shooting. That's when he stumbled into Vincent Goulding, a desperate headmaster at Augustine Academy. He was offered a position of head doctor for the infirmary and it was an offer he couldn't refuse. Working with gifted species other than human beings?? Hell Yeah! Plus it gave him the best excuse to leave his wife. Who, was not the best at that. But let's not get into that. This is a bio for crying out loud! Derek has now been Head Doctor at Augustine Academy for six years.

Strengths: Lack of emotional feelings, stamina, and of course his hands

Abilities:
'What feelings?'
-Derek can go into a blank state, where reality does not exist. This prevents him from feeling pain or reacting to it, and prevents any outbursts. The cons of this are clearly that he won't know when he's severely injured because he can't feel it. A pro isthat he can shut out his surroundings any time he wants.
'Multiple Hands'
-Being a neurosurgeon and a puppet master at the same time is near impossible. Derek can speed up his function of his own two hands, making it possible to fly through surgeries and his own puppet creations. he can stitch an entire open gash in twelve seconds, max. This has taken a negative effect however, from using this ability so often. His hands tremble and ache after using this ability
'Puppetry'
-Let's not forget the best ability of them all. Derek can manipulate dead bodies, creating mini puppets with his own two hands. With a few complex spells that he's mastered, he can create puppets to do dirty work for him. Negative is that they can not speak and can not feel.
