Galla had gotten accepted to Destiny City University, and boy was she excited. She moved into the big city from a semi small rural town on the seaside, where her parents owned a bed and breakfast. Galla had helped around with the B&B, cleaning rooms after customers had left, working the front desk, and in general helping out her parents. She loved her old little town, but as soon as she graduated highschool it was time to make it big.

Galla stood outside the apartment complex she was moving into. She had a studio up on the 3rd floor, and she was excited. Galla heaved one of the moving boxes up into her arms and proceeded to climb up the stairs. Galla did not actually have that much stuff to move in, so she was pretty sure she could do it on her own. She had a few duffle bags with clothes, boxes that contained cooking and dining suplise, as well as one box full to the brim with books. Galla lugged the boxes up the stairs, enjoying the work, but wishing she had worn pants instead of her favorite dress. Sure, a dress was not exactly great for moving, but she looked fine, just in case a neighbor wanted to come up and say hi. Galla, huffing and puffing, finally managed to get the last box up the stairs, and proceeded to unpack the dishes. There were some plastic, durable dishes that she knew she would use every day, but her mother had also insisted that she take a set of the family porcelain with her, keep her roots in mind or something. Galla placed the fragil little dishes in the back of a cupboard. She highly doubted she would use those at all.
Galla flopped onto her bed after finishing up in the kitchen. She still didn't have any food, really, or sitting furniture, and the thought of having to go out and gather that stuff as well exhausted her. Galla shook her head. No she wanted to do this! She wanted to move to Destiny City and she was going to be an adult and make it work! With that Galla hauled herself off the bed, made a list of basic groceries she would need for the week, and proceeded to look on the local Craigs List for furniture.
Galla found an adorable little table that sat two for farely cheap, and emailed the owner, offering a little below the asking price. If the seller dickered for more, Galla would be impressed. Nowadays it seems like dickering about price was quite a rare thing, and anyone who had the backbone to do so could get far in Galla's mind. Not that she would give in and pay more, no, Galla had grown up in a tough environment, an environment where business deals, and making a profit were important. She didn't exactly agree with her parental units' underhanded tactics when getting their way, which was a reason why Galla moved away in the first place. Out here she could learn and be herself, do her business Galla style.
