 Henri Goldsmit Henri walked over to his favorite section of the library. The foreign language books no less. He's fingers tingled as he got close. The smell of books filled his lungs. The man pulled out a book and then his note book to write down notes. He was going to work hard to study another language. He could get more money that way. The more languages one knew, the more money that would come out of it. This would be his fourth spoken language once he completed his basic study of it.

Elaine was making the rounds for grabbing book requests when she saw the man. "Hello. Checking the foreign language section I see. Is there a specific one you had in mind?" She asked as she moved her cart to the side. Last thing she wanted was for someone to trip over it. Mittens hoped onto a shelf and stared at the man.

 Henri Goldsmit Henri looked up for a moment. "Of course." He answered as he grabbed a book. He then went to the table with his notebook and started his studying. He didn't really talk to many people and he spent a lot of time studying and studying. For the moment he was studying Chinese since it had many practical uses.

Elaine giggled as she went back to her cart. "well let me know if you need anything. If there is a specific learning program or brand I will be happy to look into it and see if we have it or can purchase it." She offered. The young librarian resumed her book pulling. Those requests were not going to fill themselves.

Henri Goldsmit Henri looked up again for a moment and nodded. He would probably just start out what was here in the library for his studying and once he had gone through all of the books, he would then ask for more, but offering to get more books was also a dangerous thing. He would make the foreign language section the biggest section of the library at this rate.

Mittens jumped off the shelf and walked over to the man. Her human was busy with work and she wanted attention. She jumped onto the table Henri was on and sat on his book. Someone was going to give her attention. Might as well be the only person in the library.

Henri Goldsmit Henri stopped his studying and started to pet the cat. He was fine with cats, but he fond of dogs more. It was kind of a welcome break. Henri had only thought about his studies and maybe he should enjoy some time off, even if it was just petting the cat.

Mittens began purring delightfully. Elaine turned the corner and smiles. "Looks like Mittens found a new friend. If she exposes her tummy, don't pet it. That is a trap for love bites" A quiet giggle came from the librarian.

Henri Goldsmit Henri took note of the warning he was given as he continued to pet the creature. He figured when the cat rolled a bit he could see some of he words and continued his notes. So with one hand he continued to pet and the other wrote the notes.

Mittens got her petting in and left when satisfied. Elaine went to work on filling the requests. Her desk wasn't that far off from Henri's "How is that book treating you?" The question came from the librarian as the cat joined her.

Henri Goldsmit Henri chuckled a bit. "Fine now that I have one less cat bugging me." He joked as he continued to write and take notes on the book. He was in the library a lot and studying a lot. When he wasn't at work or sleeping he was probably in the library.

Elaine giggled in return. "Just remember to eat and leave before closing. You are a talented translator but you need to take good care of yourself. You won't get far if you pass out from lack of eating." She warned. It was a warning her mother used to tell her.

Henri Goldsmit Henri smiled and nodded. "Do not worry. I eat right before coming here and right after I leave." He answered the woman as he wrote his notes. He did't miss a beat when he was studying. He could speak in different languages without thinking as well.

The girl shook her head. "What are you eating? Is it sufficent? Do I need to pull some cookbooks for you?" It was a silly question as she ate poorly from time to time.
