Police Station>Exit ◍ Rockstar ◍ Such a quiet little town ◍
Jonathan worked on the last of his coffee as he looked over what was on the list today. It... was actually a fairly short list if he was being completely honest but it was his job. He filed all the paperwork from yesterday and went over any reports for lost and found. Apparently, someone's cat had gotten out last night and had not come home yet. A part of him was annoyed that there was nothing better for him to do than to hunt down a missing kitty cat, but another part was glad that his sister had found a town that was actually safe. If he was honest with himself, this was the sort of place he would have chosen when he was getting ready to settle down with that special someone.
He took another sip of his coffee, it was almost gone and that would mean he would take it walk about the town, checking to make sure everyone was ok, nothing suspicious was going on, and maybe hit up The Corner Walk Bistro for lunch with his sister if all was as well in the town as it had been for the last few weeks.
And if everything was fine, he'd return and catch up on the new series he'd just started. 'Borders of Ice' which he kept hidden in his little safe under his desk. It was kind of funny how he would hide such a thing and keep it locked up, but then just read it at his desk so that anyone that walked up might see him.
Another sip of coffee and out the door he went, he grabbed his vest and tucked his book into the inside pocket and zipped up the protective covering. He'd seen others give him a funny look for wearing a bullet proof vest about this small town but... if anyone were to read the handbook they would see it was a requirement, even in rural policing.
With that, he nodded to dispatch on his way out the door and now he was on his rounds. Rocky was right on his heels of course.
