The sound of leather shoes clicking against the stone pavement echoed loudly throughout the empty courtyard, as the Necromancy teacher, Mr. Sunderland, wandered about. An expression of contentment along his features, the elderly gentleman stopped in his tracks as he passed by a circular seating area, which was covered in litter from a nearby fast food restaurant. Furrowing his brow, the silver-haired man approached the seating area and began to pick up the various wrappers and bags, his expression turning somewhat dour in the process. Taking a few minutes to locate a nearby trashcan, he began to remove the garbage from his possession before returning to the seating area and sitting down.
Crossing one leg over the other and placing his hands upon the overlapping knee, the necromancer let a sigh escape him as he shook his head, How annoying... I had half expected the courtyard to be the most orderly place. With the new school year beginning, you'd think that the faculty would want to create a good first impression. he silently thought to himself, bringing a single white gloved hand up to hold his chin. Closing his eyes, Lawrence lowered his head, and cracked a small smile, Guess I'll have to see how the rest of the year pans out. I never saw myself as a teacher, so this should prove interesting.

The witch was making her rounds along the school. Making sure that no rules were being broken before she headed off to teach her class. Well, It was the beginning of the near year, so no one really had her class yet. This was good for her.
Upon walking upon the courtyard, she had spotted the necromancy teacher. Bellatrix had walked up from behind. "Greetings Mr. Sunderland. Taking a stroll along the academy?" She asked. Though he looked displeased. She could see why. "I see you are displeased. The clutter does block the nature energies. Perhaps I should bring it up to Vincent." She thought outloud.

❝It almost feels like a joke to play out a part When you are not the starring role in someone else's heart You know I'd rather walk alone, than play a supporting role If I can't get the starring role.❞
Upon hearing a voice from behind, Lawrence simply raised an eyebrow and looked over his shoulder to the woman standing there. He would be lying if he had said that the sudden appearance of the witch hadn't startled him to some degree, thankfully he managed to keep himself from jumping in place. Raising his head, the necromancer flashed a warm smile, "Quite. I fear that my knowledge of the academy grounds is severely lacking." he modestly answered, a chuckle escaping him shortly afterwards. A short moment of silence arose before the elderly gentleman returned to his feet and turned to face the purple haired witch just as she began to speak about the nature energies being stifled due to unnecessary clutter, "Hmm... I suppose it does. Although I'm simply vexed due to my own personal dislike of trash being strewn about the place." his reply came with a short shrug of his shoulders as he slipped his left hand into his pants pocket.
Bringing his right hand up, Sunderland adjusted his tie, loosening it ever so slightly, "I'm afraid you have me at a disadvantage. You know my name, and yet I don't know yours." his tone stayed friendly, yet a bit stern with a hint of being on the defensive. Most mages hated necromancy, and for good reasons too, so it was only logical to assume that his choice to join the academy's faculty was met with caution. More than likely Lawrence's name was brought up to discuss the addition of a necromancy course.

OoC: Sorry if he seems standoff-ish, but I felt it appropriate to have him be on the defensive in this scene.
It was another new year, and another year that the nekomata would actually be teaching rather than learning (or freeloading) at the academy he had called home the past fourteen years. Shiro wandered into the stone circle of the courtyard, half-looking for his significant other, half-reminiscing of his time as a student. He briefly remembered a time when he would not enter the area in any way besides dropping from the overhanging tree branches. His tail swayed softly at the happy memories of his student life, before a pair of voices broke him from his train of thought and made him realize he wasn't the only one enjoying the fall morning under the trees. He looked between the two, one an older man he didn't recognize and the other Bella, a once-student who had also returned to their alma mater to teach growing magicians. Shiro's ears perked up at seeing a familiar face and he broke into a grin.
"Hey, Bella!" He greeted cheerfully, waving in an excited manner as he trotted over to join the duo.

"Yo Cara! Hurry up or you going to be late!" Cayden shouted as his younger twin trailed far behind him. The young man stopped and stared at his sister with an agitated look as she started running to catch up. "I'm in heels..." She said softly once she had caught up to Cayden and finished catching her breath. "You don't have to escort me to my class Cayden... Isn't your next class far away from mine anyway?" Cara asked as she grabbed on to Cayden's arm so that he wouldn't run ahead of her again. "It's fine. Besides, if I wasn't here to rush you what would you do?" He replied before they both continued walking.
While Cara understood that her brother felt the need to look out for her she wish he wouldn't all the time. It was good to know that he cared for her, and had her back in battle, but she didn't need protection anymore. She was no longer a kid and so if anyone gave her a hard time she knew how to handle it. Of curse Cara never voice this to Cayden because she didn't want to hurt his feelings. Since they were children her brother was not just her brother but her best friend, so she didn't want him to misunderstand. She knew the day would come where Cayden would have to be forced to recognize her as an adult, but until then she'd let him do as he wanted.
For Cayden nothing was more important to him than family and friends. Since Cayden didn't let other in easily, much like his sister, when he bonded with someone that bond was strong. He would give everything away for those her cared about, and would do all that he could to protect them. Even though he was much older and stronger know he couldn't forget how him and his sister were kicked around as children by other kids. He refused to let that happen again. The last thing he wanted to see was his twin cry, and so he'd go to extreme lengths to keep her happy or at least content.
