The Dispatch Boat is a unique vessel, designed for secure delivery of encrypted, or otherwise important, messages. Used by various Government and Military forces, the Dispatch Boat is always the same design. No weapons, navigational shielding, they are considered inviolable.

Unlike normal hyper-capable vessels, Dispatch Boats don't have to worry about the Hyper Limit and can go into hyper, or come out, without 0.5 light seconds from a planet.

All dispatch boats have the same design and cannot be used for espionage, per the Interstellar Code of Conduct. Molesting a Dispatch Boat, or using one as a weapon or spy, is considered an act of war.
