Shion had told him.
It wouldn't have bothered him, Sadiki was more than happy to be told that his beautiful family was expanding. That there were more children, that his bloodline was being furthered. It made him so happy, and Sadiki would have been so happy to meet his supposed grandchildren. So many children...so many babies! Sure, he didn't have time for any of them, what with his...erm...business, but he liked getting letters from Shion about the family. When he heard about the children? He booked it back. He wanted to meet them. He was perfectly fine with them existing.
What he WASN'T okay with was his beloved daughter, Rei, not arriving the moment he arrived. He was NOT okay with her essentially running away. How dare she, think that she had any sort of authority to keep him from HIS bloodline?! From meeting them!? HIS Grandchildren?! Rei wouldn't even tell him who the father was. Not that he'd care, seeing as his children's blood was far superior and probably overwrote any other. He was certain of it.
Rei was a failure, now. His other children that took her side? Failures. In time, he was sure, they would all redeem themselves. Yes, even Rei. They didn't have to do much, but the question was...would they do it?
It didn't matter. He'd have another child. One that he could start fresh with. Yes, he had been around longer for Shion, but not long enough. This child? This one would be molded perfectly.
He just needed the perfect other parent. Surely he'd find one willing to have children? To imbue with a family man such as himself~?
