"I mean, seriously, can you believe her?!" Zynas' voice filtered up from behind the screen he was staring at. "It's like she doesn't know me at all. I have other things to do than to take care of some brats just because she wants grandkids!" His voice was exasperated even though he hadn't taken a second look at the person he was talking to. He rarely did. This was how most of their conversations went and he was pretty sure she was used to him using her as a sounding board. It wasn't like she had many other social options, so she probably welcomed it. He was pretty awesome after all, and who else was he going to throw his problems at?

Lilium felt her eyes almost roll into the back of her skull. It wasn't that she disliked Zynas' visits, but anymore he was becoming increasingly whiny and always had something to complain about. "She's probably thinking that she's your mother and wants some grandkids." She nearly echoed his mother's statement which earned a quick glare from the computer geek. "Maybe you should actually think about giving her some? It isn't like she's getting any younger, and from what you've told me I think your sister is a lost cause." She made a motion with her hand as if waving off the conversation.

Zynas couldn't help but snort at the last part of Lilium's statement. It was definitely true that his sister was more likely to kill someone giving her compliments than to ever find a lover, not that she seemed to mind it at all. She had a way of pretending she was some hotshot renegade. She was likely to die alone, not that his prospects were all that much better. The only women he talked to were the ones he worked with, Lilium included, though her situation was a bit different. "Whatever." Came his voice, vetoing everything Lilium just said. "She'll just have to get the idea that she's never going to have grandkids. It's not like there aren't worse things going on in the world."

Lilium couldn't help but roll her eyes yet again at him. She picked up a pillow from her couch and threw it at his head. "It sounds like the poor woman is better off having another child of her own than waiting on you two!" She snorted. Usually, Zynas' life wasn't anything she really wanted to get involved in, but over the past year or so the two had formed some kind of odd friendship, even if he was basically a glorified babysitter for her. "Why do you even ask for my opinion if you aren't going to listen to me?" He was definitely infuriating.

"Ow! Did you really have to hit me with that?!" He rubbed the back of his head and picked it up, wondering if she had laced it with lead, before throwing it back in her direction. "Fine. I get it. I should give the old woman some kids." His voice sounded a little sarcastic. He still had very little desire to have his own children, but he did have a bad habit of giving his mother whatever it was she wanted. "Does that mean you're going to have kids with me?" He turned in his chair, giving her his signature smile.

Lilium smirked when he made a sound of pain. "Actually, I did. It was as if I was channeling your mother through me! I'm sure she'd approve of me hitting you." She easily dodged his return fire and gave a smile when he finally agreed. Maybe with him having some children, she'd get some peace and quiet for a change. Or so she thought until he made his next statement. Her nose wrinkled and she frowned, shaking her head. "Ew, hell no! You're not my type! And besides, I'm sure they'd suffer all the more for having me as a parent. Sorry, you're on your own there. I want nothing to do with it."

"You're so full of crap!" He exclaimed, grumbling more when she was able to completely move out of the way of his attack. He turned back to his computer, typing some things that she wasn't able to make out. "Fine. I don't want your lame children! They'd all be grumpy and have a stupid face anyway." He stuck his tongue out at her before going back to looking at the screen. "Maybe I'll just try to find someone who wants my kids." He started scanning through a site that was listing "Imbues wanted", so many of the people sounded so desperate though and it made him want to gag.

Lilium gave a light chuckle as she got up from the couch and walked toward him. "You'd be lucky to have my children, but it's never going to happen." She leaned over his shoulder, trying to get a good look at the screen as he was flipping through the ads. "What about that one?" She pointed toward Birgit's advertisement. "She sounds like she's a hard worker and is willing to raise the kids on her own if needed. She sounds right up your alley! Besides, she's also a reporter and pretty cute. I think your employers would have a field day!" She grinned, knowing exactly how to get him interested, and if it took his mind off of making her have children with him all the better.

Zynas instantly frowned, he always knew when Lilium was trying to manipulate him, but then again if he really wanted to blame someone it should be his mother. He had nearly skimmed right over Birgit's advertisement but stopped when she said something, if he took a look at it as least it'd get Lilium off his back for a little while. However, scanning it, he realized that the advertisement wasn't all that bad, and she was kind of cute. But he'd be damned if he admitted to Lilium that she was right. "Eh, she's alright." He stated, trying to nonchalantly blow off her pick. He would do his best to contact Birgit later when he wasn't in Lilium's presence. Hopefully, this would appease his mother enough because he still couldn't believe he was going to have kids.

Lilium pulled back from his chair, a slight smile on her face. She knew she had won, even if she knew he wasn't likely to ever admit it. That was fine, she'd let him think that she didn't realize what he was doing, that way she didn't have to hear him whine about it for a while. She sunk back into her sofa, one leg crossed over another as she continued to pretend that he hadn't agreed with her pick. At least this way she didn't have to deal with the little tykes running around her home, and to her, that was a win-win. Maybe she'd have her own kids someday but now was definitely not the time.
