Qᴜᴇᴇɴ ᴏғ Gᴏᴛʜᴀᴍ ☾ Mᴀᴅ HᴀᴛᴛᴇʀHarley had awoken from her rather short slumber a few hours prior. Plans had been made to go wreak havoc with her best friend, Ivy on this very day. The second she heard the words "trouble" she was always down to join in, it wasn't like she'd naturally be doing anything better anyways. After putting her daily outfit on, she decided to run into thier small bathroom and go through the large collection of makeup she owned. Most of it, was stolen of course. However, some of it had been a gift to her from Mr. J himself. She was becoming rather talented, but however never wore anything other than her signature look out to town. Red lipstick, and blue and red eye shadow. Her two favorites.
It was still extremely early, but Harley always liked to be ready to rumble hours before. After finishing up her makeup she took a seat in one of the chairs that accompanied the window. Her view, although not appeasing to most, was more aesthetically pleasing to her than many. Some things were just too good to be true, while Joker and her now lived together they weren't married as she so hoped. That was a thing for normies, and she knew how against it he was. Aside from that, then he might actually have to admit to himself that he truly cared for her.. Geeze, the last time he had done that he had tried to brutally murder her. Mentioning something about that making her his weakness. Oh, whatever.
She sighed to herself, humming a tune as she picked up a book off the side table and began to read. After a few moments she set the book down, looking around for a split second. It had taken her this long to realize that while parading around all thought her home she hadn't seen a glimpse of her Joker. "Puddin'!" she yelled, sticking her lower lip out. Knowing him, he had left most likely on business without telling her. He wasn't very conscious of her existence a lot of the time, and would often leave her at home while going out to cause trouble. Perhaps though, if she was lucky he'd be lurking around their humble abode. It was still early in the AM, so there was still a chance, but not so much of a chance that she was going to get up and actually look. Ugh, too much cardio for one day.

The Joker had not slept that night, in fact he rarely did. He was always awake, always alert with his mind constantly working on overdrive. The male could never relax, nor calm down and so sleeping next to the woman he loved had always been a challenge. He was often cruel to her, taking his own anger out on her when he should really keep it contained. But that was the problem, his psyche told him that he needed to prove himself constantly to her, that he was never good enough. He needed to show her his strength, how good he was at what he did. Unfortunately this always led to some kind of injury and so, rather than confronting her about it, he often avoided her presence. This had grown worse since he tried to kill her. Admitting affection was too much for him. His love had been his weakness before and he would not let it happen again. No-one would harm his beloved but him.
The previous night, The Joker's mind had been invaded by thoughts of wanting to hurt her. He spent hours lying awake in a state of insomnia, imagining all the things he could do to the woman curled up next to him happily asleep. Even he found it strange that something inside him had told him to walk away. If his thoughts had continued to grow darker, she would most likely be dead. It was this small sense of rationality that had kept them both alive, however sick and sadistic it may be. Luckily, he had learned to trust his instinct. And besides, did he really want to kill the only person who was ever truly loyal to him? Harley was his muse, his inspiration. Often the thoughts he had about her, he often transferred to those he actually wanted dead. It made for some rather creative, gruesome murders. He was glad to have her, even if he never showed it.
The Joker had spent the night fumbling about in his lab. He was working on a lot of weapons lately, as though he was planning something yet he himself didn't know what for. Some of his little inventions were just prototypes, but they were deadly. Perhaps enough to kill even his most wicked enemies. The male finally finished, putting away his gloves. He was wearing nothing but his trousers and socks - why wear clothes when there's nobody important in the house?
He wandered in the direction of the staircase, with the intention of finding Harley. However, it seemed that she was already looking for him, from the shout of his awful nickname. He smirked, walking slightly faster yet near silently on his feet. When he reached the room Harley was in he paused at the door watching her for a few moments. Admiring her. She was beautiful, it was as though he had never even noticed before. He tilted his head before knocking on the door three times. "I'm here for my consultation.. Doctor," He said with a straight face, walking into the room slowly before taking a seat in front of the women. "I keep having these thoughts... terrible thoughts," He continued as he took a deep breath. "I was wondering, if you could help, me?" The Joker questioned looking up into her eyes. Her mesmerising blue eyes.

··Mʏ ʜᴇᴀʀᴛ sᴄᴀʀᴇs ʏᴏᴜ; ʙᴜᴛ ᴀ ɢᴜɴ ᴅᴏᴇsɴ’ᴛ﹖·· Qᴜᴇᴇɴ ᴏғ Gᴏᴛʜᴀᴍ • Mᴀᴅ Hᴀᴛᴛᴇʀ Harley loved and cared for Jack probably more than anyone could ever imagine. Her loyalty to him was unbreakable. Despite all the abuse, she still stuck managed to stick by his side. Many wondered how...why. One of the people who still seemed to wonder why she put up with this abuse was her best friend, Ivy. Ivy and the Joker hated each other, and always made this evident when around each other. Pointless banter would fill the air, and Harley's laughter never seemed to cease. As far as Harley knew, she knew the Joker better than anyone else, and still, his actions intrigued her. One of the many things about him that had caused her fall from grace was the simple fact that despite all her studies, she was never able to figure the man out.. The way he ticked, differed from anyone else she had ever come across. He was far from an open book, and regardless of her intensive studies, she didn't think she'd ever understand his actions. Perhaps he hadn't been entirely truthful in their sessions years upon years ago, but this never crossed her mind. He was her God, and she would die for him, even if it was him holding the dagger.
Harley's eyes brightened as she noticed her love standing in the doorway, her lips curling into a wide smile as he stared at her. It seemed almost childish for her to get so giddy at the sight of him after all these years, but that never changed anything. It was times like these that gave her a small glimpse of hope. Maybe one day, he'd be kind to her all the time. "Sheesh! There ya are Puddin, I haven't seen you all morning! Did you miss me?" she asked him, watching his every step. She knew full and well that the man probably hadn't slept, that was his baseline after all. As he sat in front of her, her wide smile broadened. "Terrible thoughts?" she asked him, her eyebrow raised. Leaning forward, her face only a few centimeters away from his, she spoke. "Tsk tsk, puddin'. When don't you have absolutely horrible thoughts? Tell me more. Maybe, just maybe.. I can help cure you.." her curiosity often got the better of her. Any thought that belonged to her beloved Puddin' ought not to be too terrible.
Of course, she knew this wasn't true. Back when she had believed that she was curing him many many moons ago, she got a small glimpse of his mind. Surely, it was the most terrifying thing she had ever come to grips with. She could have been the best psychologist in the world, and some would have argued that she was, but no one could fix her beloved J. Now, she wouldn't change him for the world. It was comical to her how quickly things could change.
Her lips gently brushed against his before she stood, glancing at his handsome face before walking behind his chair and placing her hands on either of his shoulders, beginning to massage them. Massage therapy, something she had learned in her studies but didn't use often. "You're so tense puddin'.. I think you just need to learn how to, relax.." she whispered to him.

The Joker smiled at Harley as she played along with his little role play. During the Joker's time at Arkham, Harley had been the only doctor whom seemed genuinely interested in him. All of the others only wanted to cure him, and send him back into society so he was no longer their problem, or simply keep him locked away forever. The Joker was not a problem that needed 'fixing'. He was sure that Harley was intrigued by the mystery that surrounded the 'Joker' title but was also infatuated by his wit and charm that he switched on every time she entered the room. He had wanted to impress her, at the time only so he could escape, but now it had become much more than that. He knew that she loved him, even when she told herself she was trying to fix her. Whom else would arm a psychopath with a machine gun?
The Joker was not only satisfied when the harlequin was happy but also when she was sad and hurt. It was then, when he had hurt her beyond what was normal, that he would jump in as her own saviour. Making her believe that only he could make her happy, when it was he that made her unhappy in the first place. He craved her loyalty, and revelled in the way she aimed to please him, obsessing over her emotions sometimes the same way he would obsess over his enemies. Although sometimes he could be the opposite, and completely deny any recollection of her existence for weeks. That was the side of the Joker that didn't make sense.
Jack smiled as he wandered into the room, pleased to see the bright smile on her face. He loved the way she looked at him like that. Then she spoke, and a small scowl formed on his face. Puddin'. He hated that goddamn nick name. What was he? A raspberry sundae? He said nothing and continued with what he had came here to do. The prince watched as his Queen spoke, looking at her careful movements and smiled. The thin snake like grin of a predator. Their faces grew closer as she spoke, and soon their lips were almost touching, but before he could kiss her she moved - their lips only brushing slightly. He scowled into thin air, only to calm down when he felt her hands on his shoulders. "Perhaps I should take up Yoga," He suggested sarcastically, a slight menacing tone in his voice. How dare she tell him to relax! The Joker didn't even stop to consider than he had initiated this fake 'consultation'. He simply looked for any excuse to loose his temper. He had to admit however that the massage felt nice, though after a few moments he turned to face her, kneeling on the chair. "Kiss me Harley," He demanded running a hand through her soft hair. "Make me happy,"

··Mʏ ʜᴇᴀʀᴛ sᴄᴀʀᴇs ʏᴏᴜ; ʙᴜᴛ ᴀ ɢᴜɴ ᴅᴏᴇsɴ’ᴛ﹖·· Qᴜᴇᴇɴ ᴏғ Gᴏᴛʜᴀᴍ • Mᴀᴅ HᴀᴛᴛᴇʀHarley couldn't help but seem a little childish at times. This behavior had sprouted from her terrible childhood. Although her childhood wasn't quite as scarring as Mistah J's, it hadn't exactly been peaches n' cream either. Her father had been thrown in prison while she was very young, and this caused her to have to learn how to act mature a lot earlier on than most kids her age. She never got much of a childhood, and that was something she loved about her Puddin', most times, he respected that and even catered to her childish tendencies. Sometimes though, especially in serious situations, it annoyed him.
Harley never paid much attention to the fact that Jack had never cared for the nickname she had given him, instead, she just continued on. It was rare for her to call him anything but "Puddin'". So, he'd just have to grow use to it, and well, if he hadn't yet, tough luck on his part. Perhaps he really would just have to kill her. There was a small portion of her took pleasure in distressing him, either way. "Yoga?" Harley asked him. She was completely unable to detect the sarcasm hidden in his voice, per usual. However, she could hear the stern underlying tone, and that was enough to make her drop the subject all together.
Harley's head tilted to the side only slightly as she stared for a short moment. Was a kiss all it really took to make him happy? No, she knew better than that, but who was she to deny what he had asked her for? Distracted from his sweet words, she looked his body up and down, biting down on her lower lip as her eyes traced nearly almost every line of his muscular chest. Leaning in, she gave him a cheerful giggle. "A kiss is all it takes? Well why didn't you tell me that years ago, sugar?" she whispered, her arms wrapping around his shoulders as she nuzzled her nose against his, giving him a gentle yet loving kiss. Definitely not the Joker's style. After a few moments she pulled back, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Was that good enough, Puddin'?" she asked him, her smile hopeful and bright.
OOC: Trust me, that was most of my day yesterday. It's been a very long time since I've used a cannon, so I'm trying to feel her out a bit. Dɪᴀʙᴏʟɪᴄ ♥ Lᴏᴠᴇʀ: Mr. J, always♥ Tʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛs; Fᴇᴇʟɪɴɢs: All he wants is a kiss? ; Giddy.

Intimate moments with the Joker were extremely rare, and he hoped she was making the most of it for eventually he would run out of steam and grow bored of playing 'nice'. But for the minute, he was quite content with this beautiful woman catering to his needs, and he would take full advantage of the opportunity. As a partner, the Joker demanded that she always did as he asked and this was a kind of unwritten rule. He loathed the way she would sometimes try to get his attention when he wasn't in the mood and to be honest this was more often than not. Jack knew that she wanted more in the relationship, and that she preferred him this way though, this only angered him more. He loved her always of course, but it was like living with a child. They're fantastic when you give them attention and play with them, yet as soon as you try to do something for yourself they latch on and wont leave you alone. Despite the fact that all they want is to please you. Currently though, he was in a peculiarly playful mood.
Jack followed her eyes down as he looked at his body. She was teasing him, taking her time, and it was tormenting him. He looked her in the eyes as she drew in closer, both his eyebrows raising at her words. "Oh honey, honey, that wouldn't have been any fun at all," He murmured before she kissed him, he wrapped his arms around her, locking her in his embrace. It was a brief kiss, yet full of love before she parted their lips. She finished with a peck on the cheek - which was slightly annoying due to the previous application of red lipstick which left a Harley shaped smear on his face. The Joker finally opened his eyes. After she spoke, an eerie silence filled the room when he did not. He peeled her arms from around his next and held her right hand in both of his, gently caressing. Finally he kissed her hand gently. The Joker's cackling laugh could be heart faintly through his lips. "It was, pleasing," He explained. "But you're so much more, you're my..." He paused, letting go of her hands to place his own around her head. "My everything," He continued, planting a soft kiss on her forehead. "My little baby harlequin," . The green haired male laughed again, his loud obnoxious cackling laugh.
He briefly recalled the first time they had met. She was wearing her cute little doctors outfit, and she was watching him through the glass of his cell at Arkham. He had grinned at her, asking her her name. He had pointed out the similarity to the harlequin, and the irony behind their similarity in name. The Joker and the Harlequin. Who would have thought? To this day, her name never failed to amuse him. 'It's a name that puts a smile on my face, it makes me feel there's someone here I can relate to' He had said as she walked away from him down the corridor. Finally he let go of her head and got off the chair which he was kneeling on turning to take a seat on the very same chair.
Out Of Cadavers - Yup! Exactly the same, so it's taking me much longer to write xD Plus, my own morals tell me to be nice to Harley which the character wouldn't do. When I get used to him, hopefully he'll be a little meaner and more Joker like :3

··Mʏ ʜᴇᴀʀᴛ sᴄᴀʀᴇs ʏᴏᴜ; ʙᴜᴛ ᴀ ɢᴜɴ ᴅᴏᴇsɴ’ᴛ﹖·· Qᴜᴇᴇɴ ᴏғ Gᴏᴛʜᴀᴍ • Bᴀᴅ Gɪʀʟ"Oh Puddin'.." she whispered as she blushed. Harley was eating up all the positive attention she was getting from her beloved mad clown. Naturally, she'd have to go out of her way just to even get something as simple as a glimpse from him, let alone a kiss. Perhaps today was her lucky day, though. "My puddin's laughin'." she gave a warm smile, giggling as he kissed her forehead. His, baby harlequin, indeed she was. He wouldn't have it any other way. He was very possessive over his toys when he remembered they were there, Harley being one of them. However, he had admitted to not even really realizing that she had disappeared when she had left for an entire year. Making a name for herself and her two best friends, but even then, she had been faithful to her one and only Puddin'. Although, her companions had tried many times to shove her into the arms of other random men, they never succeeded. No one could live up to the standards her puddin' had given.
"Oooohhh, Mistah J!" she exclaimed, a burst of laughter escaping her as she walked around his chair and took a seat on his lap. She looked at his face for a moment, turning her head slightly as her laughter continued. "You look good in red, Mistah J." she told him as she poked at the spot on his cheek that she had kissed. Harley knew subconsciously that this spurt of kindness was going to last about as long as a Disney short film, so she was going to take advantage of every second of it. She just hoped that shortly after he didn't attempt to kill her again, those moments were just sincerely never any fun. Spacing off for a good moment, Harley brought her attention back to the man in front of her. "Ivy and I are gonna cause some trouble tonight." she'd thought about asking him to come with the two women, but thought better of it when she remembered that he and Pam's personalities.. Clashed, to say the least. Rightfully so, Pam hated the Joker and the way he treated Harley, but Harley always made excuses for her puddin'. After all, he loved her. Either way, the trouble they had planned to cause probably seemed like childs play to Mistah J, thus, causing his decline to her offer. At this point, she didn't even bother asking unless he told her that he was coming.
"What did you have planned for your day, sweetheart'?" she asked him. Usually, he spent a lot of time in his lab with his creations. His insomnia was too strong, so he rarely found time to sleep. She liked to spend time down in his lab with him when she could, however, more often than not he would shoo her off. "Pooh, I've got work to do, why don't you go play with Pam." Ugh, how she hated hearing those words.
OOC: Most of my characters are entitled assholes, so Harley is really hard for me, cause she's not like that at all. Also, she's all over the place, and that makes it even harder. It's fun though, it's nice to expand horizons a bit. I'm sure you'll get the hang of him. whee Either way, you're doing swell. Love him. J smirked as she sat in his lap. She was light as a feather, tiny. He was nearly twice her size. Despite this however, he knew that, if she wanted to she would be a pretty decent match combat wise. She was agile and fit, lethal to most, her gymnastics skills serving her well- skills J lacked. In many ways he was lucky she was so loyal to him. There had only been one instance where she had threatened his life, and that was before she and he joined together- before she was Harley. She had been so desperate for him to stay with her that she held a gun to his head. J had begged her to shoot him, pointing the gun right on his forehead, yet she had no intention of doing so, he could see it in her eyes. He too had no intention of taking her with him. To the Joker, Dr Harleen Quinzel had simply been a doctor, an intriguing one at that, but still someone who saw him as sick. He had played on her fascination, and she had fallen for him in the process which had definitely not been a part of his plan. Over time he learned to tolerate her love, and in many ways love - if he was even capable of that very human emotion- her in return.
One of the best things about Harley, according to the Joker, is that he could do anything to her and she wouldn't fight back- much to the dismay of her so called friends who disagreed with everything he stood for. Absent minded, he glanced out of the window at the sky. It was a cloudy day and looked as though it might rain. Rainy weather always dampened his mood, and made him irritable. He looked over to her as he felt her poke his cheek, in the same place she had kissed him. J didn't feel the need to respond to her, he was simply waiting for her to move so that he could get up. He watched her carefully however, analysing her little emotions. Noticing how easily distracted she seemed to get by little things. Whilst it may seem as though he doesn't care about her, he watches her a lot, from afar. He probably knew her better than she knew herself yet he would not be the first to admit that. He sort of used her as an experiment, to test out his theories. If he wanted to know what made a person crumble he would try it on Harley first without her knowing. It was over time that he realised that in order to destroy someone you have to know them. You can't threaten someone whom you don't know anything about. For example with Harley- it was him. If he threatened to leave or even give himself over to the Bat he could get her to do anything he wanted. If you simply threaten to kill someone, they'll likely just beg for their own life, which is simply not amusing enough - but if you put one of their loved one's lives in danger they would likely beg you to kill them instead, believing that they are doing it for some greater cause.
It was like a game, how far could he push her and everyone around him. This is what got him so hung up over the Bat. He had no clue whom the eccentric vigilante in the skin tight leotard really was and as soon as he found out the Joker would know where to strike. For know, the best he could do was cause trouble for the man in his beloved city until he finds his inevitable weak spot, his Achilles heel. Everyone had one, even 'Mistah J'. He looked up at her again as he heard her mention the name 'Ivy'. Words couldn't describe how much he disliked that woman. To say they had a difference in opinion would be putting it lightly. They had had their fair share of fights, the worst being after he had almost killed Harley though he was more pissed she hadn't come home to him. That's how their relationship worked. He would beat her, and then tell her that he does it out of love. That he does it because he wants her to be perfect. And most of the time she believed him, until that poisonous woman infected her brain with nonsense such as the crazy notion of 'marital abuse' and 'the law'. They were together again now, and she was back to normal, just the way he liked things. He held a finger to her face, tracing her features. "You know I don't like her Harls," He mused, his face contorting to that of a snarl. Although, this contradicted many a time when he would get rid of her by telling her to 'go play with Pam'. Apparently it was only okay when he said it was. He sighed, lifting her off his lap before standing up himself. "Fine. But don't get arrested, I am not busting your cute a** out of Jail," He said, making sure she knew he was giving his consent. He turned to leave the room when she asked him another question. "Me?" He asked before frowning. "I'm going out," He muttered to her, walking back in her direction. "Maybe you should come with me instead," He suggested with a smirk holding her chin in his hand. His smirk suddenly faded. "Or am I not good enough for you anymore? Maybe you should just stay with Ivy," He retorted, his previous acceptance of their little adventure seemingly gone. "I'll finally get some peace around here," He muttered the last sentence to himself looking menacingly into her eyes. Mind games, he wondered how she would respond. He let go of her head, forcefully pushing is backwards, enough so it would feel uncomfortable.
Out Of Cadavers - I thought of this quote from 'The Taming of The Shrew' when I wrote this.
'The more my wrong, the more his spite appears. What, did he marry me to famish me?... I... Am starv'd for meat, giddy for lack of sleep; With oaths kept waking, and with brawling fed; And that which spites me more than all these wants- He does it under name of perfect love; As who should say, if I should sleep or eat, 'Twere deadly sickness or else present death...'
Also, if you think of his speech in Leto's Joker voice it sounds much better, I promise, XD

··Mʏ ʜᴇᴀʀᴛ sᴄᴀʀᴇs ʏᴏᴜ; ʙᴜᴛ ᴀ ɢᴜɴ ᴅᴏᴇsɴ’ᴛ﹖·· Qᴜᴇᴇɴ ᴏғ Gᴏᴛʜᴀᴍ • Bᴀᴅ GɪʀʟMost would say that it was true that Joker knew her better than she knew herself, but that wasn't because he truly cared for it. For the most part, it was because he could use her to his advantage, and he did.. In fact, upon making a seat of his lap Harley had half expected him to shove her off to the floor. Tough love, or so she presumed. At least she had never come in second to another woman, for that would be the day that she truly snapped. Maybe then, she'd actually be able to stand up for herself. Even she doubted that much though. She tugged at the leather of her jacket, looking down at herself and nodding. She had definitely chosen a different ensemble, but she felt it appropriate, cute even. She just hoped that Mistah J felt the same.
Harley pouted a bit as Joker told her, once again, that he didn't approve of her best friend. "But Puddin'.." She wasn't one to do something without his permission, for that was a sure fire way to piss him off, and an angry Joker was something she didn't like playing with, it was almost worse than playing with fire. She couldn't help but giggle when he had given in, telling her that he wasn't going to bust her out of jail if she got herself into any type of trouble. "Oh Puddin'! You know I'm usually not that reckless.." after all, she had lasted an entire year without the help of her clown King. However, it wasn't by any means easy. She watched as he headed toward the door leading out of the room, a smile coming across her face as he actually decided to acknowledge that she had asked him something. She blinked rather quickly, her lips parting as she thought about what he had said to her. Darn it, he could be just so confusing sometimes, and it wasn't fair! The man was unpredictable, to say the least. "Puddin.. I.." she began to respond before hearing his last statement. "I'll finally get some peace around here." echoed through her mind as he shoved her head back. Did he want her to go with him, or not? Part of her wanted to cry, not knowing well enough that the Joker was indeed messing with the only bit of sanity she had left. "P-p-puddin.. What do you want me to do?" she asked as she looked at him, a single tear running down her cheek to match her discouraged countenance. She knew that was not an answer, therefor, it was probably the wrong answer, but it was all she could think up.
OOC: It's almost eerie how much that phrase directly matches the joker, omg xD Dɪᴀʙᴏʟɪᴄ ♥ Lᴏᴠᴇʀ: Mr. J, always♥ Tʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛs; Fᴇᴇʟɪɴɢs: I don't know what to do.. ; Discouraged.

It was rare for J to be pleased with anything Harley ever did. Even when she had managed to apprehend his greatest enemy he had lashed out, nearly killing her, again, by throwing her through a window. He had let Batman go, for that was his fight not hers. The Joker liked to play his game, and he wanted to play it by his own rules, which sadly did not involve his girlfriend taking the credit for him. He had however, been remarkably impressed with her skills yet rather embarrassed that she had been able to do something that he could not, which is most likely what sparked his outburst.
J briefly glanced over her outfit, it was different than her usual get up. He kind of liked it- the colours suited her well. He didn't often dictate what she had to wear unless they were going out together. If he was going to be seen with her, she might as well look presentable? Plus, it was another way he could have his control over her. He smiled widely at her confusion. This was the part he enjoyed most, not the pain or the torture but the emotional confusion. And Harley was fortunately easily confused. Sometimes she cried, and that only made him want to go further. He often placed people in a state similar to that of Hobson's choice - giving others a situation where they are forced to make a choice but, in the Joker’s case there is never a clear option. Either way they are going to be wrong. That is why he needs to know his victims’ weaknesses before he gets involved.
He sighed heavily, tilting his head to the side to look at her. He slowly walked behind her placing both of his hands on either of her shoulders. "It takes a day for someone's entire world to change around them" He explained massaging her shoulders. “It only takes seconds, for you to mess everything up,” J continued, his grip on her shoulders getting stronger. It was then that she expressed her concern that she did not know what to do. This angered the joker, because it should be obvious. “Aww you don’t know what to do?” He whispered menacingly into her ear, his right hand gripping her throat. “You don’t know what to do!” He mimicked using a slightly nasally tone, to better sound like her. Then he repeated himself for a third time. “You don’t know what to do!” This time he was shouting, and whilst he yelled he shook her rather violently.
J took a few moments to breathe before he spoke again.“Don’t be so indecisive,” He told her as he laughed placing his hand around her mouth so that his tattoo made it look like she was smiling, revelling in her fear and uncertainty. “Look you’re all happy, I like you when you’re happy” He laughed, the sickening cackling laugh, again wrapping his arms around her. In his mind, he really wasn’t concerned about her little trip with the green witch. He was just having a little fun. Playing his little game. With his little girl. Eventually he let go of her, and stroked her shoulder gently. “Now you’re tense,” He observed.

··Mʏ ʜᴇᴀʀᴛ sᴄᴀʀᴇs ʏᴏᴜ; ʙᴜᴛ ᴀ ɢᴜɴ ᴅᴏᴇsɴ’ᴛ﹖·· Qᴜᴇᴇɴ ᴏғ Gᴏᴛʜᴀᴍ • Bᴀᴅ GɪʀʟHarley held her breath as the Joker placed his hands on her shoulders, letting out a deep breath as he spoke. She was quite intent at first, but it was his speech that made her uncomfortable. Well, not so much uncomfortable, more so it made her upset, and although she wished she could run away and shed a few tears, she knew that would end no differently than this very conversation would. With the Joker playing his cards as if he didn't care for her. He did, he had to.. Right?
"I don't.. I don't try to mess things up Puddin'." and this was true, not always. More like.. nine times out of ten. However, she often tried her best. Her best just.. Wasn't good enough for Jack. It wasn't until he started mocking her that she began to laugh too, with him this time. They were both mad, but a tleast they were mad together. The difference between the two was that Joker could tell when people were mocking him, Harley, could not.
"Don't be so indecisive." he told her, her laughing ceasing. That was when the fear returned. She loved him, but at the same time, she feared him. Far more than she had ever feared the Jokers beloved Batsy. Half the time, she felt like she came in second to the damn man. It wasn't fair! What had he ever done for her puddin' other than give him something fun to do. Hadn't she done that before, too?
She let out deep sigh as he let go of her, her shoulders still quite tense from when she had held her breath for so long. Did he really like her when she was happy? Aw, how sweet, her puddin' was so sweet. A sweet smile made its way back onto her face again, giggling as she looked at J. "Tense?" she asked, a frazzled look coming across her face as she poked at her own lip. Why would she be tense? Oh right! That was right.. Ugh, she hated how quickly she would sometimes forget. "Maybe I should go with you!" she exclaimed, rethinking her night. She never turned down spending a moment with her puddin'. Although, at the same time she knew that Ivy would be rather disappointed. Oh well though! She'd have to get over it and understand... Or.. She could have her "secretly" tag along. She'd done that many times before, and it ended up not being so secret. Slowly, she turned and looked up at him, giving him an eerie smile. "I love you puddin'." so unpredictable, so incoherent. Yet completely genius at the same time, what a confusing one that Harley was.

The Joker was indeed in love with the idea of Harley Quinn, the woman who would do anything he asked without much complaint. The problem was he only really loved the idea of it. It was like when you are expecting a baby and it is all fine and happy until you realise you have to look after it. Nevertheless, he wouldn’t change her for the world… well perhaps he might. You never know with the Joker. He is mad after all, but so is she and that is the only reason their relationship works- if you can even say that of it.
He laughed with her for a moment before continuing to chide her. His laughter was what made him so confusing. The Joker was known for laughing in situations that a laugh would possibly get him killed. He laughed when he was hanging over the edge of a building, when angering a man would be enough to make him cut the rope hanging him by his feet and let him fall to his death. It was only a game, it was fun. And it was fun to wind up Harley. He had decided that he would let her go off with Ivy. He would again reiterate that he would not bail her out if she was caught though he probably would. The Joker subconsciously wanted her to know that he could do what he wanted when he wanted regardless of what she thought. He let go of her shoulders and sighed, standing a short distance away, gazing at her for a little while. Briefly, his mind turned to the day when she and he had made their vows. ‘Would you live for me…’ He had asked her to which she had responded yes. He would hold her to it, and would be extremely pissed if she got into serious trouble.
He smirked at her confused expression, she was so silly sometimes and it often made him feel superior, a feeling that he craved. He tilted her head to the side and frowned as she spoke of going with him instead, raising his eyebrow he said nothing as she continued. ‘I love you Puddin’. She was so easily manipulated it was heart-breaking, to anyone other than her Puddin’. He watched over her smile, which caused him to involuntarily smile also. “Why thank you,” He said in response to her brief declaration of love, not responding in a similar manner for he did not see the need to. Didn’t the way he treated her already prove his affection for her? “I’m sure you’ll be fine with Ivy,” He mused with a sigh. “If you want, I’ll take you in the car,” J suggested folding his arms over his chest.

At least, that was the way that Harley saw it. Though she would heed his warning, she knew that if she did get herself into a small speck of trouble, her Puddin' would always be there to save her. He needed her, after all. Unbeknownst to either him or Harley, she was all he truly had.
Her smile on grew bigger when he thanked her for telling him that she loved him. She never expected any more. For even a simple thank you was a blessing. She was so used to being neglected and ignored that she didn't even comprehend the definition of neglect at the time being. In a sense, it was rather saddening. A broad smile appeared on her beautiful, porcelain toned face as J gave his approval once again. Typical, he had been messing with her head all along. "Thank you Puddin'!" she told him as she tilted her head to the side. Leaning up she gave him a kiss on his cheek once more. "Oh Puddin'! You'd do that?...Eh... That won't be necessary, Puddin', I can hold my own for once." and with that, she gave him a wink, heading to their bedroom to pick up the rest of the things she'd need for the rest of the night. Only the necessities, of course, her special bat as well as her assault rifle, and oh, how could she ever live without at least a few Smilex bombs. Hopefully, Batsy wouldn't ruin her fun tonight by getting in her way.. Or as usual, defusing her bombs.
Suddenly! A text from Ivy popped up on her phone.
"C'mon Harles, I can't be waiting here for you all day. Get your happy a** over here asap, and leave that goofy clown at home!"
Harley couldn't help but roll her eyes as she picked up the rest of her items, giving her J a passing smile as she walked out the door. What an impatient one that Red was, perhaps that was why they got along so well. {Exit}

J was bemused as she walked out of the door. He too had plans for the evening, and although anyone else may consider help a great asset the Joker preferred to work alone. He had noticed some new faces wandering about in the shadows and it unsettled him. Particularly one little girl and he intended to find her. Gotham, after all, was his city and he wasn't going to let anyone take it away from him. His lack of trust for other people has left him with little to no allies, and none that he would ever seriously consider trustworthy. Except perhaps Harley but even she, despite her loyalty, was a free spirit which is why he kept her on so short a leash.
Harley soon walked back in, carrying a load of weapons and supplies she'd need for her night, she smiled, the smile that always appeared on her face when she was excited. He watched her leave, smiling as she left although it was quick to vanish once she was out of sight. He moved swiftly wanting to get out into the city quickly. Firstly he got dressed in his trademark purple suit and black pants. His shoes were black and white dress shoes and he wore a plain grey shirt with a black waistcoat. As always, he adorned his skin with various items of jewellery. After arming himself with hidden guns and bombs, smoke grenades and a few vials of his infamous joker venom which he had brewed himself a few nights back. The clown admired one of his guns before placing it in the holster which was wrapped around his upper body. It was unseen under his jacket, but anyone that had ever heard of him would know that he was always armed, always prepared, and always willing to risk his own life for a cause. Or a laugh, whatever came first. Soon he was powering up his car and heading for the town.
