Hobbies:
- Crocheting -- Cordelia's grandmother taught her how to crochet prior to her passing. From time to time when she has a spare moment she'll drag out some yarn and a crochet hook and give it a whirl to see if she still remembers how. The more practice she gets in the more confidence she has that one day she'll be able to make a blanket, scarf or hat for someone she cares about to share the love and warmth that her grandmother once shared with her.
Window Shopping -- Living on your own comes with the responsibility of managing a budget-- Rent, utilities, food, maintenance and upkeep, all things that, once paid, leave little wiggle room for splurging on name brand clothes and expensive shoes. That hasn't changed that Cordelia still very much enjoys shopping, even if it's just window shopping. She enjoys getting a bit of exercise in while wandering the mall, making note of little things that might be worth saving up for.
Cooking -- Cordelia has always enjoyed spending time in the kitchen. Focusing on a recipe or creating a new concoction makes for a wonderful distraction and a great way to relax. It's also a perfect way to bring friends together, which is always a bonus in her book.
Virtues:
- "I'm a little butterfly..." Social -- Having been raised amongst her neighborhood's 'elite', Cordelia learned from a young age that if you wanted the right kind of attention you had to be social. While it's no longer a matter of bouncing from group to group, Cordelia still craves social interaction and enjoys catching up with her friends, both in uniform and out.
"Don't worry! I've got your back!" Supportive -- While it might not always show and she might suffer from a bit of foot & mouth from time to time, Cordelia really is a good listener and a strong wall of support for her friends. She'll listen to all of their stories and offer suggestions for solutions to all of their woes. After all, without them she really wouldn't be who she is.
"Always look on the bright side of life." Optimisitic -- Cordelia always tries to look on the brighter side of things, not willing to let life get her down. There are so many dreary things out there and while it's only too easy to give in to that darkness, it's better in her books to bring a little bit of light and cheer to the world instead. Look to a new day and a brighter tomorrow.
Flaws:
- "But what will they think?" Self-conscious -- Cordy cares way too much about what other people think, more often in the form of an internal monologue battle with herself than outwardly. While she might be all for doing something she tends to hesitate or hold back if she thinks it might put her at risk of losing something that's already good. Why push for something when things are good the way they are? Because of this she tends to miss out on a lot of things that she really enjoys, or might enjoy if she'd give it a chance.
"Aww, maybe I shouldn't have said that." Thoughtless -- Despite wanting to fit in and be loved by all there are some times when Cordy just doesn't think before she opens her mouth. During those times it's best to expect the unexpected in the form of words as she sees them; often blunt and mostly straight to the point, good or bad.
"There is no grey area." Black & White -- You're either with her or against her; friend or foe, ally or enemy. Those who get in her way or try to side against her may find themselves easily in the line of one of her attacks, verbal or physical, especially if she thinks that there's a chance that someone standing in her way might cause harm to someone she cares for. If you get in her way you're going down.
