Arsinoe had been surprised at the number of senshi who'd reached out to his text message but he was glad. Years ago there wouldn't have been so many willing to learn anything if it meant asking someone else. The fact that more were willing to work together finally gave him hope that the senshi would actually be able to get somewhere. Maybe it was finally their time. [ Text to Hermes: If you have time. Meet me by the swings at the park. 10:30 sharp ] He'd texted the new, he assumed, senshi earlier in the day hoping he would both respond and show up. It was strange being more outgoing but -someone- had to help the newbies and it wasn't the cats. Sitting on the top of the swing set he kept a mental eye out for any other sources of power in the area while he waited.

Hermes was still getting used to the senshi phones and how they worked, exactly. Arsinoe's message had come as a slight surprise, but after how much that infernal cat had told him about his own history, he had thought it a good idea to discover more about what other people knew.
He arrived at the park a little before ten thirty, because he was always early, as a general rule. A response had been sent, crisp and to the point, and now he was here, Hermes feeling the quiet twinge of an Order accented power signature slowly reach him, curling around his senses.
A man was sitting there, warm colored and dark haired. Hermes cast a glance up, his own pale face calm.
"Good evening. Are you Arsinoe?"

He smiled as he saw the other Senshi, having watched him make his way over. Dropping off the swing set he nodded, holding out a hand. "I am. You are Hermes?" Friendly was always a good way to be when meeting someone and the other Senshi had reached out to him. He was trying to be nicer to others and helping out the newbies, or anyone who asked for it, was a good way to do that as far as he was concerned. "It's good to meet you."

Hermes reached out to accept the offered hand, giving a brief, but polite shake before letting go again. "I am, yes. Thank you for meeting me, I haven't met very many other senshi before."
Or really anyone, for that matter, but there was a first time for everything. Hermes tilted his head a little, pale blond hair falling across an angular cheek.
"What did your message mean, exactly?"

"For there being so many of us we seem to somehow be spread pretty thin." That had never made much sense to him but everyone seemed to have their own patrol areas and they usually didn't overlap. He usually only saw his cousin out unless he'd agreed to meet with someone. The other Senshi's outfit was interesting. Unlike most he'd met it didn't really seem to give away anything about him. "Which one? Sorry. I've sent out a few. Was it the one about training or the one about information?" He ran a hand though his hair trying not to look sheepish. That was a habit he hadn't managed to break yet.

That much was certainly true. Hermes had not had the greatest of introductions into Order, but for now he would do his best to figure things out. If he could understand the past, perhaps it would help him to understand the present more - though it was debatable.
Still. The effort and the attempt was there.
"Ah - " Hermes gave a nod. "The information one. I was very curious as to what you were referring to, exactly."

"Yea, sorry about that. I wasn't all that specific." He probably shoudl have been but sometimes being specific with the Senshi got you either stupid answers or ignored. Neither of which would help him at all. "I'm working on a database project, kinda. I'm trying to gather information about homeworlds and, if people want to share, their pasts if they've found out anything. Something happened back then and I think if we can figure out more about what it will help us now" Whatever it was they'd failed to do then he was sure was what they needed to do now. He just had to find out what that was.

Hermes took this information and rolled it around cautiously in his mind, trying to figure out what he thought of it. A database that spoke of homeworlds sounded very interesting, on several levels, especially after all that that dratted beast had spoken of. Perhaps he could learn more, more about his status as a god.
Or other gods, for that matter. Hermes tapped a finger idly against his leg.
"Something happened...when, exactly?" he asked, with a frown of thought. "What are you speaking of? Do you mean a large scale event that had to do with everyone?"

He raised a brow slightly at the other senshi's words and wondered if he hadn't learned that bit of information yet. He thought that was something everyone sort of found out pretty fast. "Well I have to assume something happened since most of the homworlds and wonders seem to have been destroyed and the cats are waking us up for something." He tilted his head slightly, trying to keep his expression neutral. "And quite a few of us are reborn, actually I think the senshi might all be but I'm not sure. I'm not even sure what happened other than the moon kingdom got destroyed." And everyone elses kingdoms along with it. Unfortunately for him that was as far as he'd ever gotten and no one else seemed willing to give out any more information.

He made mental notes of all that Arsinoe was telling him, Hermes' expression one of great concentration as he tried to sort everything into the proper places of his mind. Hermes had only briefly met the cat that had awakened him and then that beast that had told him things as well.

"Gods?" He raised a brow slightly at the other senshi's question. "What gods?" No one he'd met had said anything about gods. He hadn't ever really been religious and the idea of gods added into the mix with everything else going on? That just seemed like it would be even more trouble and not the good sort.

Arsinoe was given a steady look, Hermes' expression shifting ever so slightly as his brows contracted together.
"The Gods spoken of in past lives," said Hermes slowly, wondering if this senshi was one of the ones he had been warned of. "I, of course, was one of them - Hermes, as you can see. There were others; I was merely curious as to whether or not you had any knowledge of them."

"Just because you're homeworld has the same name as a god doesn't mean you were one or anyone else was. At least from what I've found out no one thought anyone like us were gods." Sure some may have started like that, when Senshi and the Royals were first created, but somehow he didn't think that lasted long. "Some of us are royalty but not gods."

Hermes' brows were drawing further together in an expression of either annoyance or confusion or perhaps a mixture of both.
"I was told," he said warily, "That I was one in a past life. A powered individual, and I doubt he was merely making things up. There would be no reason to."
They were getting off topic. Hermes cleared his throat.
"Where does this database of yours reside? Will it be accessible to all?"

"Given that you are one now you probably were, who told you?" If some of the Cats were playing jokes on Senshi someone needed to have a talk with them. It was hard enough teaching the newer senshi as it was. "I think we're all reincarnated. But just because we were powered doesn't mean we were gods. We're not gods now." and he was pretty sure they had the same powers now as they did back then. Maybe the Royals could be considered gods but he wasn't going to start worshiping any of them. The database question was at least easier. "Right now it's on a external drive at home but i have a Mauvian friend who's going to work on uploading it to their database. That will mean it's accessible to all of us via our phones."
