Log of Midnightglow18 and Leo  Aikutaki was sitting at his computer he was lonely, he had tried finding someone and still had not had any luck, so he was now resorting to online dating. Aiku scanned down the many pictures and names and didn't feel a connection to any of them. Aiku was ready to take a step back from teaching scuba diving and free diving. He had money set aside so he could take time off to take care of stones, infants, and freshlings. He wanted something that could develop into a real relationship. Aiku then came across Zoey's picture. A beautiful pink and green demon, Aiku started to read her profile. Being the naiad he was he messaged her before he was half way done reading about the lovely dance teacher. "Hey my name is Aikutaki, I'm a scuba diving and diving instructor and I was wondering if you might like to go out to get drinks with me??"

 Zoey just didn't have time to date like a normal person, but she so badly wanted to be in a relationship with someone. She'd go on a date here and there, but they never seemed to really work out for one reason or another. Most people were intimidated by her busy schedule and didn't feel like they could fit in with her's. Between work, soccer, and her own adopted child she certainly was a busy Demon, but she had room for someone special in her life and lately she had been wanting to expand her family. She tried online dating next, be honest about her hobbies and work online so that potential dates would know before hand what they were getting into with her. She wasn't having much luck, but one day she got an interesting message on the site. She read his message and already was interested in what they did for a living, honestly it sounded exciting and like something she'd enjoy exploring herself. She had a smile on her face when she replied to his message. "Drinks sound great! Just let me know when and where!"

Aiku grinned when Zoey quickly messaged him back that she would go out with him. He smiled and typed in "How about the bar not far from the academy??" He messaged her the address and name of the bar, Aiku wouldn't have trouble getting there by carriage. "So I'll meet you there in about an hour??" He figured that would be enough time for her to get ready and for him to get ready and catch a carriage over to the bar. Aikutaki had been waiting a long time to find someone to go out with, he didn't need Zoey to give him more time than she could, but just to get to know her a little would be really great.

Zoey sat by her computer, waiting for a response and it didn't take long at all before she had her reply. Wow, she was actually getting really excited about this. She was a little nervous to be meeting someone new, it had been a long time since she tried dating. He wanted to go out to the bar by the Academy. She had been there a lot with coworkers and so she was familiar with the place. She would definitely be comfortable with meeting someone there. "I'll see you in an hour!" She had to set up a babysitter for Aiken, but that wasn't hard to do. Just a quick call to her usually sitter and she was all set to go.

Aiku smiled as he went to get ready. Then he called for a carriage and headed to the bar to meet up with Zoey. He was really looking forward to meeting her and seeing what she wanted out of a relationship. Akiutaki was also curious if she would be interested in imbuing stones with him. Aiku really wanted kids, his life had been on hold waiting to find the right person and he felt like there was a click here that could become something meaningful. He hoped that Zoey would agree with him. Aiku walked into the bar and looked around for Zoey the demon he hoped was his future.

Zoey didn't take long to get ready and headed over to the Bar. She tried not to dress up too much, but had a simple blouse and skirt on. Which was really the best she had anyway, most of the time she had on her Dance gear for classes or workout gear around the house. She didn't care much for her appearance, but she didn't want to seem too sloppy on a first date. It was still hard to believe she was going on one. She must have arrived at the bar first, because she didn't spot Aiku at first glance. She went over and ordered herself something sweet and small, just to help with her nerves a bit. She watched the door and when Aiku walked in she waved him over to join her at the bar.

Aiku was dressed casual bar dress clothes, trying to avoid his normal jeans and tee shirt since this was like a first date. He put on tan slacks and a Hawaiian style dress shirt, still fun and playful, but still more dressed up than his normal. Aiku grinned when he saw Zoey waving him over to the bar. Aiku kept himself clean since it was kinda a naiad thing to have pride in ones appearance, even if he wasn't a suit and tie kind of guy. He still kept his hair and skin looking healthy and nice. He walked over to Zoey and dove right in. "So tell me about yourself and what you're looking for??" He asked in a warm tone.

Oh wow, this guy wasn't messing around at well. That worked for her honestly, if they both had the same sort of goals from the get go, then things would work out for them better in the long run. She was a little tired of the whole run around by now. She just wanted someone willing to start a family with a busy body. Someone willing to be her partner. She smiled and laughed a bit at just how blunt he was, but she pushed her bangs back behind her ear, being just a bit flirty wouldn't hurt. "Well, I'm a Dance teacher at the Academy. I also coach little-league Soccer. I do have an adopted daughter, so I'm...busy. But I've been wanting a partner and...well, honestly a family for a long time now. I think I scare people off with my busy schedule a lot. Sadly. What about you?"

Aiku smiled he was happy that Zoey wasn't scared off by him being forward and seeing if their cards lined up. "That sounds amazing, I teach scuba diving and diving lessons, so my schedule is pretty flexible based on when I schedule lessons with my students in a given period, but I was hoping to start a family too, so I was thinking of taking some time off so I would be able to take care of little ones." Aiku smiled "I don't have a problem with a pre-started family, I'd love to meet your daughter and try for a family with you if your up for it. I don't need to be attached at the hip with you, if we can make a date night when your schedule allows it I would love that." He said with his casual charming smile on his face. Aikutaki reached for Zoey's hand "I can be your support system if you'll let me, everyone needs a spotter to make sure they are ok." He said softly

Honestly, it almost sounded too perfect! Zoey could always take a bit of time off from her coaching, and maybe a little bit of time off from work while the kids were real young, but she loved working with the kids at the Academy. If Aiku was really willing to be a stay at home father for a while, that was very promising. She could support the both of them while the kids were really young, and she was sure Aiken would be a wonderful older sibling. This was all really promising. When Aiku reached out of her hand she blushed a bit and could have cried at his words. Thankfully that drink was helping her stay a bit grounded. "I hope I can be a good support for you as well Aiku. I already think you'll make a good father." She was sure Aiken would like him as well. She'd have to set up some ime for the to of them to meet as well.
