The weather had proven to be harsher than he'd have liked, the rain coming down in full force while Bob was still sauntering downtown, on a rather slow trip back in the direction of his home. The rain had caught him off guard, the large Maine Coon finding refuge in the nearest building with an easy-to-push door.
This particular venue seemed to be an actual, well, venue, as the first thing that hit him besides the warmth and dryness of his new refuge was the soft sound of music playing in the distance. Another glance around and he found the sign for the concert hall. Huh. Guess he'd get some culture while he waited out the rain.
Moseying around the empty lobby, he decided to follow the sounds that echoed through the hallway. It sounded rather beautiful - an orchestra? Practicing, maybe? There weren't enough people lingering for it to be an actual concert, after all.
Slipping past the door into the hall itself, his ears twitched as they were suddenly bombarded with the sounds of piano, violin and other string instruments.
Not too shabby when it came to skill, really.
Hopping onto the closest chair, he made himself comfortable atop the plastic piece of furniture and watched the musicians, half-intently and half out of there being absolutely nothing else to do.
