There were a lot of ways to screw up. To Alum, the biggest way was to keep ignoring direct orders. And to his credit, he hadn't. He'd just found creative work around. Unique outlets that would allow him the advantage of being able to get what he wanted, and what the negaverse wanted. As night fell, he'd powered up, leaving his home and seeking seedier places, knowing he could find easy victims. It was a bit poor taste to call them that but, this was for a better cause, a greater good. Energy was energy, and as he drained a man until he felt forward to the pavement, Alum smiled. He'd make his general proud.

Derrick was calmly walking back to his apartment after work, a scarf wrapped around his neck to make sure he didn't get too sore of a throat. He was minding his own business, and hoping he wouldn't have to do anything else tonight. Last time this had happened he found some sort of Negaverse agent breaking into a store. He had avoided that spot since then, though he knew that agent wasn't likely to go back there anytime soon, he wasn't ready for another battle against them. Of course now he made sure to pay attention to his surroundings, just in case some random Negaverse agent popped up again.

The sound of someone nearby put Alum on high alert. For one thing they couldn't be caught. Not to mention they, number 2, were pretty weak as far as fighting went. Sure, magic and all that jazz but magic only went so far, and when you relied too much on it, it could easily lead to your downfall. That was his thought at least. The sound of shoes on pavement had him darting to find cover, but when he failed to see anyone Alum relaxed just a tad. "Alright," he began talking to himself, "Time to see about that whole starseed harvesting thing." He strached his arm, a nervous tick he'd developed recently in light of becoming a senshi. "Wonder if there are any other homeless around here I can grab from.."

He couldn't help but hear something coming from nearby. Derrick really shouldn't listen to it. He should just go home to his apartment and just relax watching some youtube videos or something. But... there was always that but. It could be something else. It could be a stray dog or someone else just taking a walk, or a drug deal he really didn't want to interrupt and get in the middle of... but. But it could also be a Negaverse agent or a youma, waiting to strike some unsuspecting citizen. He powered up as silently as he could, and as soon as he was done, he cursed to himself in his head. It WAS an agent, and they seemed to be pretty close by too. He sighed quietly, and made his way over to where he felt the aura coming from, trying to make sure that the agent wasn't ready for him.

Alum wasn't on the up and up as far as most things relating to the whole senshi and knight powers deal. He just knew if things felt off, they probably were and to be cautious. He could get away if needed but when you were not supposed to be out to start with it was a little harder to explain just why you disobeyed and had nothing to show for it. Prowling around the corner, he almost missed the flicking energy before he stopped and looked around curious. "Anybody around?" A beat of silence, he kept walking. "Got to be somebody here." He muttered. "One starseed isn't gonna cut it." SSBrosB feel free to have the jump on him!

Caliban had been able to get close enough to the agent. In such a silent area, the agent was much louder than he probably thought, with Calbian hearing what he had said. Of course he heard the part asking if anybody was round, which of course he wouldn't answer, but also that this agent was definitely after starseeds. Not good. He watched from his hiding place a bit, wondering if he should wait until the agent had had a victim, but if that happened, he might not be able to save the victim in time. So now was the chance to strike. With his enhanced abilities, he silently ran towards the agent, hoping to get a strike in. "Seal Away!" He was aiming for the agents arm, and hoped that the agent wouldn't be able to dodge in time. Quote: When Caliban hits an opponent with one of his fists, it causes the opponent to be temporarily paralyzed, where the opponent was hit (either the whole arm, whole leg, or torso+head), for 15 seconds. Can be used twice in battle period.

Again, caught by surprise, Alum cursed himself for not being too cautious, for not trying to find those pesky power signatures he'd been told to keep an eye out for. Unable to dodge, his arm felt slack to his side, limp and useless. Jumping back the corrupt senshi hissed at the order senshi. "Alright buddy, that how you want to go?" He blinked, and once he saw the other's face, caught their eyes? "Fall."SSBrosB Sailor Scout Attack: Fall Targeting a single person, Apollo makes eye contact with their target, and puts them into a state of sensory deprivation/hallucination. It can be used twice in battle and last 30 seconds. In this state the target cannot feel, see, hear, taste, touch anything- their mind is active, and they hallucinate that which is their darkest fears. They can still move, attack/lash out and talk, but they cannot infer anything happening around or to them. Ya'll ******** seen Age of Ultron we're pull'n some scarlet witch s**t up in here.

Unfortunately, Caliban accidentally caught Alum's eyes when the other said those words, and immediately Caliban felt the effect. Well, he was definitely going to invest in more training after this and probably a bit less self-confidence. This was the second time that he had been completely immobalized by an attack, except this time it was worse. He couldn't really tell what was happening at first, but unfortunately what he was seeing was his family being tortured. But how could that possibly happen when he was just in an alleyway? Luckily he was still able to think a bit, and realized that he must be hallucinating somehow, but that he couldn't get away from it. It paralyzed him for a bit, terrified and watching what was happening, but he tried moving. He tried. He tried to keep his eyes closed, even though he could still see the horrible images, and he tried to keep his mouth shut. However, what he decided to do was swing his hands around a bit, but not very strongly, he didn't want to hurt his hands too badly if he managed to hit a wall or something. But whether he would be able to hit anything was another matter. He just hoped that it would be over relatively soon. iStoleYurVamps Caliban needs to be less trigger happy XD

The biggest downside Alum was learning about his attack was, that people could still fight back. Whatever they were seeing, hearing, thinking- he hadn't a clue, but they could flail, they could still hurt him if he wasn't careful. Gritting his teeth, he hadn't thought it through as the senshi started to flail. It was too high a risk, not knowing when and if the other could still use their magic. Scowling, he backed away. "Just lucky." He muttered. "I'm not supposed to let myself get hurt," his arm already was, "So I guess this is bye." For now, he added in his mind before teleporting back to the rift.

Caliban finally felt the other's attack fading and after a bit more time, his vision and other senses returned. He had to take a few deep breaths to recover, and blink a few times, just to make sure he was back to where he was. He was really not liking the corrupt senshis he had run into so far. Sure, he had a paralysis type attack too, but man, this one was bad. He only hoped he didn't have nightmares from it. After a bit he realized that he could still be in danger, and sensed the area to see if the other senshi was still there. He couldn't sense the other's aura any longer. Well, at least I stopped him it seems. Better than last time at least. He immediately felt incredibly tired though, and was glad that he would be able to sleep in tomorrow once he finally reached his apartment.
