Fleur had been horrified. Amai just… told on her bullies right in the moment. She hadn’t been sure how to react- what was the best idea? The best plan? When they would inevitably get in trouble, they would figure out it was her that had told and come get revenge. It had happened before, hadn’t it? Why wouldn’t it happen again? But it didn’t. Then it became waves. She found herself unable to respond. Quiet hello’s in the hallway… still, unable to respond. Why? She was angry, but not angry enough not to speak to Amai. She was the only friend she had. It was… terribly lonely without her- Fleur had never really noticed just how alone she was at the school until communication with Amai stopped.
She had to change this… fix it, somehow. She was going to have to do something she’d never done before: initiate a difficult conversation, all on her own. This was going to be hard… but she hoped that Amai would still be willing to be her friend by the end of it...
