Official adoptions are rehomed and back stocked characters. We like to see our characters be used and it breaks our hearts for them to be sitting around in our folders collecting dust.
Availability
|| We release adoptables about once a month (except when there is an official event going on).
|| Owners will be able to apply for the adoptable for one week after announcing the new arrivals. After the one week, the entries will be looked over and one winner will be picked. This winner will be able to claim the adoptable and continue with being critiqued from the staff until approved.
|| Like any quest, you must have an open slot in order to enter for this character.
|| Official adoptions come with a price. The art is already completed and ready to go, so while it's not as expensive as a custom, the price is 250mil. We like to think that this limits applications to dedicated owners.
|| The price will not be collected until an owner has been announced, but will not be returned if you fail to set up their journal.
|| Owners can only claim one adoptable every 6 weeks. (This timer starts from when their adoptable quest was officially approved.)
|| If one month has passed after the approval of an official adoptable and the owner has not completed their journal set-up, the adoptable will be removed and put back into the adoption rotation.
|| Please submit all applications for this character in this thread. (Applications are the character quest forms.)
|| Applications close on 01.22.17. Once closed, managers will review and choose one owner to continue on with the application process.

3 Base Traits: Adventurous | Determined | Impatient
Personality: Nazuli has always been the adventurous sort. As a young child, she would be the first to volunteer to do something --- whether they were supposed to be doing that something or not. Danger? She knew it existed but she didn't give it much attention or thought. What was the point in living if you didn't take some sort of risk every once in a while (or all the time). This almost always got her into trouble if they were caught. But she didn't care. She'd take whatever punishment she was given in stride and turn around and do it all over again given the chance.
Despite Nazuli's outgoingness and willingness to commit to just about any challenge, she is not a leader. She much prefers to sit back and let someone else take the reigns of any given situation. If push comes to shove, and she has no other choice, she will do what's needed of her and lead. However, she would much rather not have that kind of responsibility on her shoulders if she can help it.
Her determination has always played a huge part in her life. Once Nazuli's decided to do something, and set her mind to it, there's nearly nothing that will stop her. Learn to shoot a bow and arrow? Practices every chance she gets. Learn to dance? By damned she'll find someone to be her dance partner and learn to dance. With this determination comes let downs, though. When she's unable to perfect a task she's set herself to, Nazuli becomes angry with herself and has been known to thrown a temper tantrum (even as she grows older this will be a thing she will need to work on).
Not only does Nazuli get impatient with herself but others as well. She doesn't like waiting and when others put things off she becomes agitated. Nazuli, when forced to wait, becomes snippy and moody. Her hatred of earthlings was ingrained in her from early on in her childhood. If she encounters anyone not of alkidike or elaria blood, she doesn't hold back or hide said hatred. She has been known to pick fights with any ysali, or other earthling, unfortunate enough to make their way close enough to run into her. Hybrids get even more of her hatred. She sees them as an abomination --- things that should not exist in this world.
History: Nazuli, for all intents and purposes was not supposed to exist. Her mother, Mikari, had still been heartbroken over the loss of her partner when her and the other extremists had been banned. Romance, let alone a child, was the last thing on the older alkidike's mind when she had made her home on Yael. She had busied herself helping build their new home up and planting the seed that would eventually grow into the new mother tree known as Elzira. She worked with her sisters to make a home out of place that was inherently foreign to them.
Mikari met knew alkidike sisters, ones that had been more involved in the war and had lost more than her --- at least her family was still alive, even if she'd likely never see them again. It didn't take long for her to start getting close to one particular alkidike --- Keeja. She was so much more different than her partner before and so when Mikari finally realized her feelings had grown beyond much more than simple friendship, she was completely floored. This girl was soft and round where her dearly departed was lean and muscled. Mikari's heart was quickly won over.
Mikari wished only the best for her new love --- willing to give her just about anything to make her happy. That is, except one thing. A child. Mikari had never wanted children. Not even with her partner before. She had had her nieces and that had been enough for her, at the time. Keeja, on the other hand, longed for a child --- one that would be born of the new mother tree. One that would carry on their mission. It took quite a while for Keeja to finally convince Mikari to go to the mother tree and plead for a child. It didn't take long before their prayers were answered. Mikari had been afraid that the mother tree wouldn't grant them a child because of her doubts. But she had so wanted this child for Keeja.
Soon Nazuli emerged from the flower and Miakri instantly fell in love with her vibrant eyes. Nazuli was raised by two loving, devoted alkidike mothers and taught the ways of the extremists. This instilled in Nazuli a hatred for the earthlings, that had banished her cousins, and fueled a need to help in any kind of movement her fellow cousins and sisters might have in the future. She lead a pretty normal childhood that any alkidike or elaria would and quickly took up the bow as her chosen weapon --- taking after Mikari in that aspect. Only Elzira knew what lay in store for the young elaria's future.
As a side note: Mikari is Keline's (my alkidike) aunt that was banished. Meaning that Nazuli would literally be Kel's cousin.
