So this is where he decided to hide to. Truly she didn't know how he could stand this awful place. The soil was too soft for good traction. The air was thick and sticky with humidity. There was little to no coverage for hunting. For one as small as him she'd imagine hunting the larger prey housed here would prove difficult. There wasn't any shade often for miles for one to rest under and enjoy the fruits of one's labor or simply cool off and regain your strength for another hunting attempt.
If you were destined to die why do it starving and uncomfortable?
But, those without Nguvu were known not to think clearly. Without the life force that their pride revered coursing through him it was considered a accomplishment that he wasn't acting like a rabid beast.
A tiny part of Organa was glad to know that her once partner still had enough sense of mind left within him to put up a reasonable struggle. She had a feeling that when the council had given her the task of eliminating the stray Justicar that it would be one of her hardest assignments thus far.
So far she was right on point. Organa would have been disappointing for anything else given who she was hunting.
After all, he knew her all of her tactics and vice versa. They had been choose since cubhood to grow, sleep, eat, and work together as a single unit. It was easier to deal with the constant traveling and stress their rank within the pride demanded if you had a partner there with you.
It's for that reason she was chosen for the role of his executioner in the first place. Not that she would ever admit it out loud but if the council had decided on anyone else Organa still would be in the same position she was in now. It didn't feel right to her for anyone else to handle restoring honor back to Kenobi's name.
It was also another matter that she had unresolved questions burning at her core that only he could answer. The simplest being arguably the most important: Why?
Why give up everything they had worked so hard for? Why did he suddenly grow arrogant and go against a system that no being had any hope of dismantling? Why challenge the council in a open rebellion? What could have been so worthwhile that it was worth losing your life over? Why didn't he come to her and consult her his hair brain idea in the first place!? Why would he, the one person she trusted with her life, betray her like this?
It was not a question if she would be getting answers from him, it was a matter of when. Gods be her witness she would stop at nothing to find him again. Once she the answers she sought? Well, Organa would be granting him the kindest mercy one could give to one who had lost all their Nguvu: Death. A chance to redeem yourself within the afterlife.
Organa would be the one to give him a honorable passage into the afterlife.
Or she would die trying.
