It had been entirely too long since Chariklo had forced herself to go out on a patrol. Doubtless, Cuan would be proud of her. Whoopie.
Shivering a little in the cold, the tall senshi rubbed absently as the long healed scar on her wrist and wondered what, exactly, it was she thought she would be doing tonight. She knew she wasn't up to a fight. She was horribly out of practice. But maybe she was worrying needlessly. Maybe the night would stay quiet and she'd be able to use the time to get peacefully reacquainted with some of her haunts. Or she'd get lucky and run into a friend.
Yes, that last would be ideal.

Almandine - thankfully with his glasses intact and on his face, where they belonged - was wandering.
The novelty of becoming a senshi had mostly worn off at this point, but he still found it interesting, even if it was in a vague, offhand sort of way. He had a hard time working up enough energy to do more than simply patrol for the time being, but at least he was doing things, right?
He felt a power signature start to flare the closer that Almandine drew to the city, the sensation strong, a prickling power creeping along his senses. It was not the ones he was used to; the Order signatures were strange, oddly sterile things, and he wandered nearer, wondering if it was reckless to be curious about it.
The senshi was an unfamiliar one, when at last he saw her. Almandine came closer in the street, bells jingling, head cocked slightly to one side.
"Hello," he said politely. "Who are you?"
