The Akamichi Clan is one of the four noble clans of Konohagakure, known primarily for their size and their secret technique to change the size of their body. They are able to convert calories into chakra, providing themselves a much larger boost in sustaining themselves in combat. Members of this clan are typically always found eating large amounts of food nearly every moment of the day in order to keep their chakra reserves replenished. They can usually be distinguished by their large size and seeing the kanij for “food” being worn on their clothing.

Choza Akimichi
A jonin of Konohagakure and a former team-mate of Shikaku Nara and Inoichi Yamanaka. He is the named fifteenth head of the Akimich Clan.

Choji Akimichi
A chunin of Konohagakure and a member of Team Asuma along with Shikamaru Nara and Ino Yamanaka. He is the named sixteenth head of the Akimichi Clan after his father. He has unwavering loyalty toward Shikamaru due to their long-standing friendship and Shikamaru seeing past Choji’s lack of athleticism, seeing he had a kind heart.

Members of the clan possess great physical strength and are able to quickly convert calories into chakra, which they then use in their various secret techniques. Most of these techniques rapidly consume the user's chakra during use, and maintaining them during a prolonged battle can be tiring. For this reason the Akimichi have high chakra levels and eat a lot in order to build up or replenish their chakra reserves. As a tribute, members of the clan wear the kanji for "food" (食, shoku) on the their clothing. If standard calories aren't enough for a battle, Akimichi can use the clan's Three Coloured Pills to convert excess fat into chakra, at the cost of one's health.

---Description: The Akimichi Clan is known for possessing great natural Strength and Endurance. Their bodies also contain high levels of Chakra. They are well known for using Ninjutsu/Chakra as a means of bolstering their physical capabilities.

Akimichi Restoration

---Description: The Akimichi’s weight is representative of their enormous chakra. When the user lose large portions of their chakra, they lose large portions of their weight. Vice versa when the user’s chakra is restored in some manner, a percentage of their fat/reserves is also restored.

Stage 1: Whenever the player regains Chakra, the player's "Akimichi Reserves" is replenished by 10% of all restored Chakra.
Stage 2: Whenever the player regains Chakra, the player's "Akimichi Reserves" is replenished by 20% of all restored Chakra.
Stage 3: Whenever the player regains Chakra, the player's "Akimichi Reserves" is replenished by 30% of all restored Chakra.

Controlled Calorie Conversion

---Description: The user has learned how to manually convert their calories/fat into additional Chakra without the use of the special food pills. While the player has far less to work with than the surplus the Pill provides, there are no existing side effects.

Stage 1: The user may convert up to 20% of their “Akimichi Reserves” directly into their Chakra. The more that is taken, the skinnier the user becomes.
Stage 2: The user may convert up to 40% of their “Akimichi Reserves” directly into their Chakra. The more that is taken, the skinnier the user becomes.
Stage 3: The user may convert up to 60% of their “Akimichi Reserves” directly into their Chakra. The more that is taken, the skinnier the user becomes.
Stage 4: The user may convert up to 80% of their “Akimichi Reserves” directly into their Chakra. The more that is taken, the skinnier the user becomes.

---Notes: This action is taken at the Upkeep/Sustain stage of the turn and can only be done once the user is at or below 50% of their normal Chakra. If the "Butterfly Choji Mode" perk is unlocked, it is activated in response to this perk's use.

Red "Chili" Pill

---Description: The Red Chili Pill is a special homemade version of the ‘Soldier Pill’ designed to forcibly transfer the fat of the Akimichi into additional Chakra. However, it released a poison into their system at the same time. It is said to multiply one’s chakra one-hundred times over.

Stage 1: The player’s “Akimichi Reserves” are drained entirely and then the player is granted 100% the amount of Chakra that was drained. The user is then automatically thrust into “Butterfly Choji Mode”.

---Notes: Entering the "Butterfly Choji Mode" through the Red Chili Pill will grant a vast chakra surplus, but will incur severe penalties.

Butterfly Choji Mode

---Description: The user Drains Chakra at an exponential rate to manifest it and condense it into a pair of chakra Butterfly wings. These wings innately allow the user to fly and move through the air seamlessly. The Chakra from these wings can be siphoned directly into Clan Jutsu such as the “Butterfly Bullet Bomb” to increase their true damage. This form can be accessed normally, but demands a great deal of chakra in order to be effective. If the player accessed this mode through the clan's signature "Red Chili Pill" they will suffer immensely as their excess body weight is forcibly converted into an enormous surplus of chakra.

Stage 1: The user can convert their Chakra into “True Damage” at a rate of (Chakra Spent / 5) that can only be applied to their Clan Jutsu.

If the player used the "Controlled Calorie Conversion" Perk in order to activate "Butterfly Choji Mode", the player will last 1 round per Stage the "Controlled Calorie Conversion" Perk is currently at.
If the player used the "Red Chili Pill" Perk in order to activate "Butterfly Choji Mode", the player will incur a severe penalty at the End Phase of each of their turns:

This move can hit up to 2 additional targets beyond the first.

---Description: The user attempts to strike a foe in some fashion (usually by falling upon them) and in the process expands the mass of their entire body in one straight shot. The size and force of their mass is so great that it can destroy the very scenery around them (flattening portions of forest, creating craters, etc). The severity of being caught under a giant Akamichi can lead to internal damage if the target survives. This move can target up to 6 additional targets beyond the first.
