While the little Fey was quite sociable, and extroverted, he was often left on his own. Many of his fellow peers had found the youth to be quite odd, and off-putting due to his unaligned personality, and sporadic tendencies... not to mention his lack of awareness for others feelings... and personal space. But the loneliness didn't seem to effect Husk all that much. Perhaps because he had gotten used to it, or maybe because he was always able to find companionship in his hoard of bugs.
His entire room was filled with them, all different kids, and they all seemed to favor the little Fey who housed them. Today he was stroking the smooth shells of a few that were huddled in his tiny palm, admiring the ribs and grooves of the exoskeleton fondly, his little antenna bouncing gently from his positive mood. The Fey would talk to them as they were any Nightmare or Daydream, cooing often too to those he favored more. Bugs were such fascinating creatures~ they could become totally different from how they were born, and blossom into magnificent forms! They were hardy, and thrived in various conditions. There wasn't a single thing Husk disliked about them~ the insects crawled lazily around on his flattened hand, hooked feets gently gripping and re-placing as they meandered about. Pink eyes followed the aimless chosen paths blissfully, humming softly to himself, wings flitting faintly behind him.
Maybe in the future, he could have a whole space dedicated to all his bugs, where he could fully study them! Yes, what a grand profession that would be~ to just spend all day and night with them, and learn all there was to them.
