The day that would be so. For the young woman Sayuki Makira, that day was not far off.
Enjoying the warmth and love of her family, Sayuki Makira was enjoying life as a small infant, loved and cared for by her parents as well as her older siblings. A peaceful existence as she was at the time unaware of her family's true heritage. It was also on this night that the family announced their retirement from the game of Snuffing out the life of others and avoiding and repelling retaliation from various sources.
But the past has a way of catching up to others as they were ambushed in the parking lot in the dead of night while coming back from a movie theater.
The mother put Sayuki in the car while the other held off their attackers. They killed them in strides greatly damaging their numbers, but as soon as reinforcements arrived, they took advantage in the delay of arriving units and a jumped in the car, And drove off into the night. Unfortunately, they were being followed.
Apparently. The enemy was persistent.
Catching up to the targets, the enemy tried to run them off the road, but their father's quick mind made one of the enemy's cars fall into a trap and hit a nearby tree.
they quickly took a nearby shortcut with a dirt path down the road, they knew they would have to abandon the car eventually for fear of Sayuki being caught in a accident, so they made another turn, got out of the car in abandoned area and ran on foot, they soon encountered more agents surrounding the family, they stood their ground and were about to be attacked until they were saved by a mysterious woman who revealed herself to be a vampire.
The family thanked her... However more agents were coming, and vampire or no. even the woman would be eventually overwhelmed. So they entrusted Sayuki's Safety to her brothers, (Since they just met the woman.) and headed off to fight the rest of the agents along with the woman. They told thier sisters to come with them, but they decided to stay behind. while the brothers ran off with her.
But not before they made a secret promise to raise Sayuki away from the life of a Assassin.... If only for the time being.
As 4 years passed. Her brothers took on the role of their parents as they raised their younger sister away from the life of of a killer while trying to keep the true nature of their Family Business a secret. Only having to take jobs to maintain their way of life until a Unknown tip. who worked for Jericho had reveled the three siblings location in turn for a hefty reward. While the brothers were away. a agent of Jericho broke in the home and tried to kill Sayuki. But she outsmarted and killed the assailant. As soon as the brothers got home. They were shocked as they found the dead body with Sayuki standing over it in blood soaked clothes...
They had no choice but to flee their location. and were forced to continue on the run. 7 years later, 3 days after Sayuki's 11th birthday. They were again attacked by hired professionals who worked for Jericho. The brothers told Sayuki to get to safety..But as they approached her they looked on with shock and horror as they saw her kill the mercenaries and employees. relentlessly without remorse and guilt and as they saw her kill the the last of the Jericho agents. She looked at her brothers as she gave them a soft smile and spoke:
"Can I join you guys in helping you kill people and find our sisters AND our parents?"
The brothers were shocked and ashamed that they were unable to keep their family's promise that they would make sure that Sayuki would be the only one to not become a killer like them, for they long ago had made a promise that she would grow up to have a happy life. As they went home and told Sayuki this.
But Sayuki told her brothers that there no time for regrets, and if they want to find the rest of their family..... They will have to work together.
She hugged and told them that everything is going to be alright, and that they will find their family.
4 years had passed, and while Sayuki was only 15 at this time, She was quite skilled in the ways of their family traditions of assassination. Sayuki became quite fond of many things, such as rock music, (She would always carry A Vita with her, accompanied by large headphones.) short ranged weapons, exotic foods, And learning the ancient ways of magic. (From a unknown source which for reasons unknown, She keeps it a secret even from her brothers. ) And learned the art of shape-shifting from her brothers. (Which also happened to be a good family trait.) Soon after she allowed to take part in the family business. Killing her targets. with quick precision and immense skill. In less than a month, She became a high ranking profile Assassin. Being in high demand for many who wanted her to be of service all the while killing other high profile Assassins during various jobs Which conflicted with her Client's interests, and became well known.. Both respected and feared throughout the official and unofficial channels of the realm of Assassins and Society itself among the various races...
While coming back from her latest job, Sayuki Encountered a mysterious Young woman. Who said she has heard about her exploits.
when she asked if she knew where her family was, she said:"Meh. Well Maaaabye..... But then you'd be dead already" as she smiled. Sayuki attacked the woman, but despite her best efforts she was defeated and was pined to the ground as she whispered in Sayuki's ear:"Hey Cutie. You're pretty strong.... for a human.... But oh that's right..you're not just human. -Giggles- You know what? I'll help you out by Telling you everything you want to know. Then I'll grant you the power to find your parents"
"What the.... How do you know about my parents? Where are they? Who do you work for? Just who or What the hell are you???
The woman giggled again as she continued to pin Sayuki down "Don't go biting more than you can chew all at once.... I'll tell you when i feel you are ready okay? -Laughs- We're gonna have so much fun!" She then tightened her grip on Sayuki but she bit her lip and didn't even dare cry out. "Hmm strong minded huh? I like that.. Well you're gonna need that the next we meet. It's pretty painful by the way. Don't worry, I've turned plenty of people like you."

"You don't, But i do know you're gonna need my help. They're only getting started."
"Are you talking about the people responsible for my parents...."
"Let's just say it's something bigger than some 2 bit company."
"Huh?"
"I've said enough. I'll be seeing you around cutie."
As soon as the woman released her grip, Sayuki shifted and preformed a reverse Rising kick. The woman dodged it in time however.
"Pretty neat. I'll be looking forward to when we next meet."
She then showed her smile with gleaming fangs.
That's when Sayuki saw that she was a Vampire...
After she got home Sayuki explained the events of what occurred...
The brothers looked ashamed and Sayuki looked puzzled as she asked them what was wrong.
They revealed that long ago, even though they manged to get away. They were still being followed by them as was evident for the past couple of years. However the mysterious woman approached them with their parents and sisters nowhere near in sight.
They asked her where their family were and they said that they had been captured. Outraged they demanded the woman tell them where they are, but she smiled and told them she will only do this on two conditions: That they train their youngest sister to be a assassin and that they let her turn Sayuki into a Vampire when the time is right.
Outraged, they refused, and said that they will find them themselves and will not train their sister. But she insisted that she has become part of something far beyond what they can understand. When they asked who said she had to be. when she explained, they were shocked beyond comprehension.... They thought she was crazy but they saw in her eyes and asked her who she was. she only said that was just a messenger and had no choice but to agree.
When they explained this to Sayuki.... also revealing the fact that they allowed her observe their movements and techniques when she was 10 years old..... She had nothing but a blank expression and ran from the house with her brothers calling out to her.
When she finally reached a beautiful lake. She sat on the ground, knees hunched together and in tears, someone had came up behind her.
It was the woman from earlier.
Sayuki simply asked why as she didn't feel like attacking anyone right now.... the woman however comforted Sayuki and apologized for her actions the other day. When Sayuki asked who she was, she only replied. "I can't tell you right now. I can only tell you.... That you'll have a answer soon." And also replied that she wouldn't really turn her into a vampire against her will. She then asked why did she tell her brothers why she said she would years ago, replied that she likes to simply give some incentive.
Sayuki pouted and the woman laughed..
Not soon after, They started talking and got along quite well compared to the other day....
However... Some things do not last...as their was a explosion from a distance away, and Sayuki saw the explosion coming from their home and rushed to the area.
When Sayuki returned, she the house was completely destroyed. her brothers were nowhere to be found. She saw a huge monster rise up from the flames, and attacked it, using everything she had learned, however the monster was too powerful and all hope seemed lost.....
But then, the woman arrived and kicked the monster to the side.
She helped Sayuki up to her feet with a word of thanks and attacked the monster. With their combined efforts, they managed to defeat the monster with a final killing blow. However, her brothers were nowhere to be seen. The woman vowed to look after her until they rescued her family.
Two years have passed..
They finally infiltrated a hidden base set up by Jericho... It was heavily guarded. They killed the guards and manged to make their way through.
When they found the control room, they found where the others were held captive. They headed there, and after more than 10 years... Sayuki finally found her family:Her parents, her sisters and brothers... They were all there.
After many hugs and kisses. They made haste in escaping the base. They ran into some guards and quickly killed them, but one manged to sound the alarm, Sayuki killed the last one, and led everyone out of the base.
Unfortunately.... There were plenty of guards in the front courtyard... Escape seemed impossible...
Sayuki, Determined not to lose her family again, plowed through the large army. Triggering another Magic Burst, She started to kill the Balk of the large army With her family and the woman close behind her doing their part.
Their was one more task ahead of them..
The Leader of the company that haunted them for over 10 years was making his escape from the complex.
Improvising, Sayuki made her way to the car where the leader was escaping to.
As soon as she cornered him, the leader tried to beg for mercy, but it was too late, Just as she was about to pierce the man's heart with her dagger, there was a burning pain that shot up through her entire body...
It was coming from her neck. Someone was biting her neck.
As Sayuki tried to turn to see who it was, she was already dropped to the ground. Her vision Blurry, She tried to get a good look at the person, but she felt herself starting to fade.. Almost as if she was dying...
Then she heard a familiar voice.
"When we meet again.. things will be different."
With the last of her strength, She screamed out the woman's name in rage and pain.
When she had awoken, She felt that she was different somehow....
She had got up, and found that her body was bandaged up with wounds....
As she looked around in her surroundings, She saw that she was in a small shack, As soon as she opened the door, there was a blinding light that was suddenly burning her skin, she retreated back into the darkness of the shack and clasped into the ground in shock.
As she awoke, she heard a voice call her name, her eyes opened, and there was a old woman sitting over her. Sayuki asked how did she get get here, and the old woman replied that she found her in the middle of the road but as it reached dawn, her body started to burn. So she covered her in a robe and brought her, Sayuki then asked why she would do such a thing and just let her burn to ashes? The old woman replied that she felt that there was a greater purpose to which Sayuki asked what that purpose was, The woman said that she felt if she continued down that road, the answers would await her. Sayuki had a flash of the woman who helped her for the past two years and burned with anger, then asked if she saw her family or a woman with them, to which she replied that she hasn't seen anyone besides her. Sayuki then asked if there was any clothes, the old woman pointed to a set of garments next to the cot. The old woman explained that her body had become that of a Vampire. Sayuki became Suspicious and asked how did she know that to which she replied that she had been around a lot Vampires. She also told Sayuki that she is part of a new Generation Vampires that were more adapt to certain..... Circumstances... Sayuki asked what those circumstances were. The old woman laughed and said that she will find out soon enough.
For 2 nights, Sayuki Worked to get used to the changes in her new body, Having found out that she had Greater strength, speed, and control over magical Abilities, as well as a access to a new Element:Fire.
Sayuki quickly got dressed and thanked the old woman as she dashed out the door with unbelievable speed, Using a A long black cloak in the dead of night.
But before the old woman said that the world won't be as she remembers it.
Burning with the desire to get revenge and find her family once more, Sayuki set out to a unknown changing world.
While on her way to the nearest city, two men got in of- front her, they were clearly trying to mug her,
She smiled as her fangs gleamed in the moonlight. Maybe... It wouldn't hurt to get a little snack.
