Snatching the movies from James' apartment had only been the start.

Jiggling the handle on the Dress For Yourself Boutique shop, Dia continued to eye the beautiful necklace resting gently on the storefront mannequin's neck. If taking something as small as movies had been easy enough, why couldn't she get everything else she wanted without having to pay for it?

The stealing had started slowly. First the dvds, then a couple of things here and there, when she'd been out on patrol. Most of them had been from unlocked cars - loose money laying around, cute baubles and trinkets, an iPod with a cute pair of pink earbuds was her latest score from a particularly fancy looking convertible.

Tonight, however, she was going for the big league: breaking and entering. The Boutique had seemed an easy enough target - no high tech security system or anything - and closed late enough that none of the other adjacent store employees would be around.

It was perfect.

Even with her superhuman strength, the doorknob refused to budge. Secretly, Dia was more than okay with this result - it simply gave her the excuse to use even more brute force to get what she wanted.

Stepping back, she sized up the door, then turned to examine the storefront window. The door had far too much metal on it, but the window looked to be free game. Would it make too much noise, though?

Glancing around briefly, she spotted no one. The coast was clear, as the criminals in the movies would say.

Taking a deep breath, her leg struck out. Black heel came into contact with the glass, shattering it and fracturing the window. Shards of glass went flying in all directions, but no alarm sounded.

Smiling to herself, she leaned in and slipped her way into the boutique.

Her fingers were encircling the chain of the beautiful necklace that had caught her eye when she heard the voice from behind her. Paired with the nagging, nauseating feeling of an Order presence, she could only sigh at the discovery of a senshi as she turned around.

"Don't you have some youma you could be fighting or something?"

Her irritation was obvious and despite his insistence for her to stop, the hand with the necklace fell towards her belt, where it was tucked away for safekeeping.

Turning fully around so she could face the stranger, her free hand fell to her hip. "I'm not hurting anyone. Can't you just...bug off, or something?"

"Alright, so. You tried to stop me."

Her expression was deadpanned, though there was a hint of amusement in her voice. "Good job. Pat yourself on the back, give yourself a gold star or whatever it is that you guys do and go home."

On that note, she turned back around and took another step into the small shop. Across the room, tucked away near the dressing room in the back corner, sat the prettiest looking scarf. Dia was already imagining the different outfits it could be paired with - or the shoes! Oh, there were so many shoes on the rack to the side, maybe there would be more in the back that would fit her size?

One hand had outstretched itself in eagerness as she made her way towards the shoe section, only pausing momentarily as she spotted a beautiful purse on the way there.

Unfortunately, this also gave her opponent ample opportunity to catch up to her. The sudden force of his fist hitting against the soft flesh of her other arm sent her flying sideways with a gasp, followed by a shriek when the super senshi realized what the little brat had done.

"OW." Her feet stumbled to regain her composure as her free hand moved to clutch the targeted arm, which was refusing to bend at her command. "What the hell did you do? Did you just break my arm?!"

Dia hesitated with releasing her arm, but two could play when it game to using magic. Her right arm let go of the paralyzed limb and conjured a small gumdrop into the palm of her good fingers. "I'm pretty sure I told you to bug off. You must be hard of hearing."

"Jeez. I attack people, you guys throw a fit. I don't attack anyone and you guys are STILL trying to kill me. Who's really the bad guy here, again?"

Exasperated, she shook her head, sending rows of cotton candy colored hair tumbling around her, pearls clicking softly against one another. "You know what? It doesn't matter."

With that, she tossed the tiny gumball in the senshi's direction. "Since you decided to stick around and all, why don't you have a treat!"

"You just sit tight, friend, while I wrap things up here."

Snatching the nearby purse and giving the shoe rack a fleeting, mournful look, the candy senshi made her way around the nearby clothing stand to spin two of the more beautiful scarves around her good arm before making her way towards the exit. While she wasn't able to spend nearly as much time "shopping" as she'd have liked, she wasn't about to leave without a few prizes.

Glancing back, her irritated revealed itself in the form of a grimace as she struggled with her still-paralyzed arm. It was a shame she couldn't use it to pick up a few more things along the way - but maybe, if she was lucky the sensation would begin to fade... fast.

"I'd say it was nice to meet you, but nobody likes a liar!"

She didn't look back as she dashed out the shattered door and into the darkness of the night. Her first impulse was to race down the sidewalk and slide into the nearest alleyway, but with her arm only now finding its way back to feeling again, decided against it. There was always the possibility of running into more monsters like that pesky Order senshi and she wasn't going to take any more chances.

Closing her eyes, she calmed her thoughts as she did her best to focus all of her energy, willing herself out of the dimension. In a matter of seconds, she'd vanished from the sidewalk, disappearing into the safety of the Negaverse, stolen loot in tow.
